It is a food with bread and cheese (pizza style) on top of a tempura. My wife bought it for me, so I am enjoying it with a chu-hi. It's a bit of an unusual combination, but it's delicious. Thank you for the meal.

September 13, 2019 visit (all information is from the time of the visit) (prices are including tax) - The Seibu Takatsuki store continues with the renovation work on the basement food floor towards Takatsuki Hankyu. On September 11, some areas were completed. Four new stores opened and six stores were renovated. On that day, I purchased beef rice and salad. The next day, on the 12th, I came back with my family to buy lunch for two people.
[Ootora Kamaboko]
- Takatsuki Hankyu Limited Autumn Spoon Kamaboko - ¥491
Cheese, oil-marinated salmon, onion jelly, and quinoa are used. The "Cheese Onion" which is not limited is also available. It is recommended to remove the lid, warm it in a 500W microwave for about 1 minute, and then enjoy it... It is sold in a refrigerated state. The kamaboko has shimeji mushrooms, a piece of salmon, cheese, and carbonara sauce on top. When warmed, the sauce spilled a little. Although there is a small amount of salmon and shimeji mushrooms, there is plenty of cheese and sauce, making it like a gratin. The quinoa is inside the fluffy kamaboko, giving it a healthy touch. However, the saltiness is strong, so it seems like a good accompaniment for alcohol.

For the tempura, I chose 4 out of the 19 varieties available. They were warm, maybe due to good timing. The live demonstration sales added to the freshness.

I was alone at Itami Airport and had two hours to spare. I thought I had enough time to buy souvenirs and still have plenty of time to drink. But buying souvenirs took longer than expected, as usual when traveling. I remembered the kamaboko I was going to buy earlier. When I see processed food, I always feel like buying it. Kamaboko in Kansai is delicious, although I can't imagine it. You won't know until you try it. I chose squid. I didn't buy many because I wasn't sure. It was like okonomiyaki style, but not fried. It seems to be grilled on a hot plate. It had a nice aroma. The ingredients were squid, cabbage, and seaweed. It wasn't tough, and I could feel the texture of squid and cabbage. Maybe because it wasn't fried, it wasn't greasy. It was a refined kamaboko and it was delicious.
