There is a section in the basement of Mitsukoshi Ueno store called Hoppetown, where delicious side dishes and bento boxes are lined up. Among them, the most eye-catching was the Hitsumabushi bento made with eel from Isshiki, Aichi Prefecture. The bento included not only grilled eel but also shrimp fry, chicken meatballs, rolled omelette, simmered vegetables, and pickles, making it look very appetizing. The grilled eel was tender and matched well with the rice coated with sauce, making it very delicious. It was a satisfying bento with generous portions and both taste and appearance lived up to expectations.

The old "Satou" in Tsukishima used to sell liver cutlets for 120 yen, and they were exquisite (they put a lot of effort into removing the blood vessels, so it wasn't smelly at all and had a rich deliciousness). There's no need to go to Tsukishima just for liver cutlets now. The liver cutlets here are Western-style. If you're not too picky, it's good enough.
