This time, I had the seared raw lamb with cube pepper flavor for 1490 yen. It had a spiciness level of 4, and came with a regular portion of rice (200 grams). During lunchtime, you can get a free upgrade to a large portion of rice. The raw lamb was delicious and went well with the soup. The person who came up with this dish is amazing. The spiciness level of 4 was just right - not too mild, not too hot. The lamb cubes were a bit small, so if you feel like there isn't enough filling, adding some vegetables as toppings might be a good idea. Although it's only available in March, the cherry salmon and spring vegetable tempura also looked delicious.

I'm weak when it comes to limited edition items... Especially when it's something rare like this in Hokkaido. I used to always order the regular menu items until I saw the divine "Avocado Sauce Hamburger" that is exclusive to the Chitose store. I didn't hesitate to order it. I chose the medium spicy level (3) and 200g of rice. This dish is incredibly delicious! The slightly charred broccoli goes really well with the curry soup. The other vegetables like lotus root, cabbage, and wood ear mushrooms were also very tasty.

I waited a bit, but the soup curry was worth it! It was my first time trying soup curry, so I wasn't sure how to eat it haha. You can choose the level of spiciness, and since I don't like it too spicy, I ordered mine slightly spicy. It wasn't spicy at all and I could eat it without any problem! It had plenty of vegetables and was delicious!

Visited on a Sunday in August after 3 PM. Waited for about 30 minutes with 4 groups ahead. A wide range of customers, including solo male diners and families. Food was served in about 10 minutes. I ordered without any spiciness as I don't like spicy food. Note that only cash is accepted for payment.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon at the end of August. It was around 2pm, and there were about 5 groups waiting in line. Due to the intense heat, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant and at the waiting area. It was my first visit, but the taste was good. I ordered it spicy, but it wasn't too spicy.

I used it for lunch! I went there on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Hokkaido. When I went there, there was a long line and I waited for about an hour. But it was very delicious. The inside of the store was a little hot, and I ate while sweating. I will go again!

Yanagibashi, a popular spot in Chitose, was closed for the Obon holiday. Disappointed, I headed to a miso ramen shop only to find it closed as well. Feeling disheartened, I stumbled upon this restaurant. Soup curry, why not! So, I decided to go in. It was just before noon during Obon, but there were already 3 groups waiting. More and more people kept coming in. It's a popular place indeed. The sign at the entrance stated cash only, so I checked my wallet. Barely enough cash. After a 20-minute wait, I was seated. All the seats were separated, giving a private room vibe. It was calming. I ordered the popular No.1 dish, the limited quantity "melt-in-your-mouth roasted pork" for 1,390 yen with medium spice level, and my companion ordered the classic "tender chicken leg and vegetables" for 1,250 yen with mild spice level. They brought us paper aprons upon request. The dishes arrived. Broccoli, carrots, lotus root, cabbage, potatoes, red bell pepper, quail eggs... the ingredients were plentiful. Among them, the roasted pork stood out. It was 4 levels of spiciness, but it was just right, so even those who are not good with spicy food can enjoy it. The main roasted pork was indeed roasted, with a smoky aroma that was exquisite. And what surprised me was the broccoli. I had never thought broccoli was delicious before (my apologies...), but this was delicious. It seemed to be roasted over charcoal as well, giving it a perfect texture and flavor. Even the supporting roles were as delicious as the main dish. I was impressed. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. I will definitely come back.

This shop also has stores in Tokyo, but I felt like I had to eat it in Hokkaido or I would never want to eat it in the future. So, I decided to enter. The interior of the shop has woody box seats, and the air conditioning doesn't seem to be working well, making it hot inside. From the menu, I ordered the classic Soft Chicken Leg and Vegetables for 1250 yen (level 4 spiciness, small rice). And of course, I couldn't miss the Zangi, a Hokkaido specialty, for 380 yen. The Zangi was crispy and juicy, and the soup curry, my first time trying it in Hokkaido, had a spicy aroma that spread throughout the table. It was delicious and satisfying, despite the heat making me sweat a lot. The curry had a unique flavor with 21 spices and Japanese-style dashi, and it was packed with ingredients like lotus root, bell peppers, and wood ear mushrooms. The chicken was tender but had a nice chew to it. Overall, the food was great, but the low rating is due to the high temperature inside the shop. It was like a punishment game battling against the sweat. If only the temperature was more comfortable, it would have been perfect. The food alone deserves a 4.0 rating. Really delicious!

I came here for the first time in a while since they opened. I ordered the 15 types of vegetables with braised pork topping. I thought it was delicious the last time I came, but today it tasted a bit too salty, with the saltiness overpowering the umami flavor, which was a bit disappointing.

I went to eat soup curry before going live. I ordered lamb soup curry, while my friend and family ordered mushroom soup curry. When their soup curry arrived, it was not as spicy as requested and the toppings were not what they ordered. Additionally, they were charged for toppings they didn't ask for. It was a hassle, but we still paid. The soup curry itself was delicious, so I rated it a 5. However, I hope they double-check orders more carefully in the future. Despite the mishaps, I will go back because the soup curry was delicious. I just hope they provide better service next time.

Visited a popular restaurant after 11 o'clock and had to wait for about 20 minutes. The chicken leg was tenderly cooked with rich flavor in the vegetables. I understand why it's so popular. You can choose the level of spiciness from 5 options, and this time I chose level 4. The tingling sensation lingers on the lips, but the spiciness was moderate.

It was around 1 o'clock when we arrived at Chitose Garaku. There were only two groups waiting, much less crowded compared to Sapporo. I ordered the Chicken Vegetable dish with spiciness level 19, but it wasn't very spicy, so I added some cayenne pepper from the table. The chicken was quite tough. The soup was lukewarm and not particularly outstanding. I haven't been to the Sapporo branch for a while, but I think it was similar to this experience.

I came to Hokkaido and tried various foods, but I haven't had soup curry yet, so I decided to go to GARAKU, which is conveniently located near Chitose Station! The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a stylish cafe, and I was looking forward to trying their curry. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they suggested the Chicken Leg Soup Curry, which is their most popular dish, so I chose that. Since I'm not good with spiciness, I opted for medium heat. The presentation was beautiful! A large chicken leg was served prominently. Now, the first bite. Delicious, with a very pleasant sweetness. And then, after a while, the spiciness kicks in. The chicken was tender and fell apart easily with a spoon. This was a delicious bowl that made me feel like I could get addicted to it. It was so good that I even bought some souvenirs.

First visit to a soup curry restaurant, the Chitose branch near New Chitose Airport had a few groups lining up even before its 11 a.m. opening. It had been a while since I had soup curry, so I was a bit indecisive about what to order. I ended up choosing the Chitose branch exclusive seared pork belly char siu with early summer vegetables, opting for a high spice level soup and normal rice for 1,390 yen. The pork belly char siu didn't leave a strong impression, but the dish was filled with plenty of vegetables such as asparagus. The soup had just the right amount of spiciness and a good kick of spices, and I finished it in no time.

Arrived at New Chitose Airport and met up with a friend. On the way to Escon Field, we decided on soup curry for lunch. After researching on my phone, we found this restaurant. We had to wait about 15 minutes due to it being lunchtime. Once inside, we both ordered the most popular dish, which was the tender chicken leg and vegetable soup curry. You can choose the amount of rice and spiciness level, so we went with the most basic combination. It still felt a bit spicy to me. It seems like I have a weak tolerance for spiciness.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a weekday by car. The interior was not crowded, and I was seated in a booth for four people. I love soup curry, and I always order the "Vegetable Soup Curry" wherever I go! This time, I also added cheese spring rolls as a topping. GARAKU is a popular restaurant where you can buy retort curry, even at airports. I had to wait for about an hour because it was lunchtime. Since it was my first time ordering, I went with the classic chicken curry! I also ordered a lassi for my drink. It was delicious! The portion size was decent, so I opted for a small serving of rice. I chose the slightly spicy level, but it wasn't very spicy, so I think I could have gone for a higher level. Overall, everyone was satisfied with the soup curry.

I left New Chitose Airport and checked into a hotel in front of JR Chitose Station. After resting for a bit and leaving my luggage, I headed over here. It's a bit early, but it's dinner time. As a fan of soup curry, I knew about this place, GARAKU. I hadn't visited their store in Sapporo yet, so it was nice to be able to try it in Chitose. And they are open all day, so I was able to come before it got crowded. I ordered the Grilled Lamb Dice Pepper Flavored Soup Curry. I also like lamb meat, so this menu seemed perfect for me. I ordered it with spiciness level 10 (just before extremely spicy), large rice (350g), and added a Sapporo Classic beer, all for 2310 yen. I had already ordered a beer, so it arrived promptly. Let's dig in. First, the soup had a good level of spiciness. The spiciness is free up to level 5, but I felt it was a bit lacking, so I paid the additional fee (110 yen) to increase it to level 10. But for me, this level was just right. The slight sweat that came out from the spiciness was the best for me. The ingredients included lamb meat with a charcoal-grilled flavor, which had no lamb smell and had a good chewy texture. There weren't many vegetables, but broccoli seemed to stand out. I enjoyed eating it slowly and eventually finished it all. It was delicious. Just a heads up, this restaurant only accepts cash for payment. They do not accept credit cards or electronic money. There is a notice about this at the storefront, so please be aware. Anyway, thank you for the meal.

The soup curry with a perfect blend of spices is a hit after a long time, and personally, I love its rich flavor. It may seem like there are few vegetables, but you can cover that with toppings. They also pay attention to the pork, so both pork shabu-shabu and braised pork are recommended.
