The main store's ramen was delicious as expected! I tried the factory ramen, and even though I usually don't order extra noodles at other Kappa Ramen shops, I was able to get a refill here. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. They also offered free kimchi, fresh garlic, and fried garlic. There were also foreign tourists enjoying their meals and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food.

I stay up late, so around 1 am I had a sinful ramen with lots of garlic and green onions, and the noodles were firm. It's a delicious and hearty sinful ramen for late nights! Even late at night, it's crowded with many people. Kimchi and fried garlic are complimentary.

Yesterday's third and fourth restaurant for the night! The third stop was at Sakura River Splash, which I believe I visited a long time ago on a different floor, but it was my first time on the underground level. Despite it being a weekday, there were nearly 100 customers there. There were around 20-30 show dancers as well, and it seemed to be quite busy. I assume they earn their wages mostly through tips, as it seemed like an interesting business model to observe! I vaguely recall that this leisure building was created by someone who has been in business in Kyoto for a long time. *Apologies if my memory is incorrect, Kansai people have had a significant influence nationwide. After that, we moved to Namba Chuo Dori and went to Kappa Ramen, where the prices seemed to have gone up. I had the cold zaru ramen special with extra rice set. Since the last train had already left, Mr. X took a taxi back home, which cost around 15,000 yen to a distant location. If it were me, I would definitely stay overnight at a sauna, but Mr. X, a true samurai who values family love over money, chose to return home to his family. Thank you for a long and enjoyable day! #SakuragawaApolloBuilding #KansaiPeopleHaveGreatIdeas #KappaRamen #KappaRamen was originally operated by a company that ran karaoke and manga cafes before transitioning to a ramen restaurant.

I sometimes visit this restaurant, but I haven't been here in a while. I was craving cold noodles, so I decided to stop by this place. They had cold zaru soba on the menu, so I ordered that. The noodles came with a soft-boiled egg, crab stick tempura, and green pepper tempura. The dipping sauce, green onions, and wasabi were served on the side. I tried it right away. The dipping sauce had a slight sweetness that paired perfectly with the noodles. It tasted better than I expected. It was a bit different from regular cold noodles, but still delicious.

I visited Kappa Ramen for the first time in over 10 years. After drinking, my companion suggested that they wanted to eat ramen, so we decided to visit this nearby shop. I chose the chashu ramen. I don't remember the delicate taste because I was drunk, but I do remember that it tasted delicious. We had ramen, drank beer, and then had a glass of water for the next day. I thought it was delicious, so I plan to visit Kappa Ramen again for a proper meal next time. Thank you for the meal.

*Today's Menu: Pork Mayo Mazesoba ¥900
This dish was chosen through a mazesoba poll on social media. I was expecting something more calorie-heavy, but it wasn't that much. It doesn't come with a serving of rice either. I guess Kappa Ramen with free extra noodles is still the best option.

I was told that there is a must-try ramen restaurant in Osaka that you cannot leave without trying. Upon my first visit, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was charming. The staff were attentive and kind. They served fried garlic (crispy) and offered a free extra serving of noodles. I ordered the ramen with my usual preferences, and the noodles were just the right thickness and firmness for my liking. It could have been even more flavorful, which I would have enjoyed. I didn't get an extra serving of noodles to save room for dinner, but even women can easily finish a bowl. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

This is Kawataro Ramen Honpo Sennichimae Honten‼️ It's idol time, 4:30 PM‼️ In the Dotonbori, Sennichimae area, there are many restaurants that are open all day, which is great‼️ Kawataro Ramen Honpo is a classic that I've been enjoying for a long time‼️ This time, I had the Kawataro Ramen with egg‼️ Of course, I also got free kimchi and fried garlic‼️ The rich tonkotsu soy sauce broth with a lot of back fat on top‼️ I added garlic at the table, and the thick, rich soup with the back fat mixes well with the thin, firm noodles‼️ The thick menma is crunchy‼️ The seaweed has a good flavor‼️ The texture of the green onions is also good‼️ The chashu has become rare chashu, and it's tender‼️ The fried garlic is delicious on its own, but it's also tasty when added to the ramen‼️ The kimchi adds a good sour and spicy kick‼️ It's a nostalgic bowl of ramen that I've been enjoying in Osaka for a long time‼️

I went out for a Sunday afternoon drink and ended up having lunch at this nearby izakaya. It had been a while since my last visit. The restaurant was almost full as it was lunchtime. I bought a meal ticket and took my seat. They asked me about the firmness of the noodles and the richness of the soup. I chose normal firmness for the noodles and a light soup. The dish arrived and they brought me some kimchi to add as toppings. I added a lot of kimchi and some garlic for extra flavor. The noodles were a bit harder than I expected, I prefer them a bit softer. It seems there are some variations depending on the chef. The soup was light but delicious. It paired well with the vegetables. Overall, I enjoyed my meal this time.

I had some errands in Namba, so I stopped by after a long time. I had Kappa Ramen, strong flavor, firm noodles!!! It reminded me of the old days when I used to eat it often. I also used a free extra noodle ticket and left feeling satisfied! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant "Kappa Ramen Honpo Sennichimae Honten" for lunch that day. It's a place where you can now find Kappa Ramen in many different locations. It had been a long time since I last visited the original store. I couldn't even remember what it was like back in the day. I purchased the "Shiro Kappa" for 850 yen (tax included) from the ticket machine, a flavor I had never tried before. I also ordered a side of rice for 100 yen. Before the ramen arrived, I received a free extra noodle ticket. The smell of the Shiro Kappa was really nice. The soup was delicious, and the rice went well with it! I almost forgot about the extra noodles halfway through, but I quickly asked for them. It used to be that extra noodles were only available on weekdays, but now it seems like they are free at any Kappa Ramen location, bringing back nostalgic memories. Thank you for the meal!

This is the main store of the "Kappa Ramen Group," which operates mainly in the Kansai region, located about a 7-8 minute walk from Nankai Nara Line Nipponbashi Station, in a back alley just before the Sennichimae Shopping Street. I visited after 10:00 pm on a weekday. The restaurant was about half full, with around 20 seats mainly at the counter. This time, I ordered the Char siu ramen with a seasoned boiled egg topping. It's a ramen with a pork bone-based soup and a soy sauce-based seasoning with a bit of back fat, simple yet addictive. The homemade thin noodles follow the firm style typical of ramen from Fukuoka, Kyushu. Of course, you can also choose the firmness of the noodles! The area around Shinsaibashi is crowded with the main stores of ramen chain restaurants like "Kamiza" and "Kinryu Ramen." How about going on a pilgrimage to the holy land of popular chain restaurants?

I visited the restaurant on a weekday evening in 2022. I arrived at 7:40 pm and it was moderately empty. I purchased the factory ramen at the ticket machine and was guided to a counter seat. I ordered the noodles firm, the soup rich, and three servings of fried garlic. After a short wait, my bowl arrived. The soup was rich with plenty of lard, and the noodles were delicious with a good texture. I added kimchi and fried garlic for free refills and enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I was drinking at a nearby izakaya and got a little hungry, so I decided to stop by this ramen shop for a late-night meal. It's been a while since I've been here. I went in and purchased a food ticket as usual, and ordered the vegetable ramen. When I sat at the counter, they immediately brought me some kimchi. I usually have it as a side dish with beer, but I decided not to drink this time. It took a little while, but my ramen was ready. They asked me if I wanted the soup to be rich or light, and I always go for the light option. The noodles were thin and straight, with carrots, cabbage, bean sprouts, and diced chashu. I topped it off with some kimchi and enjoyed the meal. The soup was delicious this time and paired well with the noodles.

It's been a while since I had Kappa Ramen, probably about 15 years since I last visited the main branch. I used to come here a lot when I was drunk back in the day. This time, I came sober for a meal before work and ordered the Char Siu Ramen with extra rice. The food was served surprisingly quickly, almost making me worried. Along with the ramen, I also received a free ticket for an extra serving of noodles. I ate the first bowl normally and for the extra serving, I sprinkled plenty of sesame seeds and a little bit of special salt. I was satisfied with the long-awaited Kappa Ramen!

I visited the restaurant at the end of January 2022, around 7:20 pm. It was quite empty. I bought the Factory Ramen from the ticket machine today and sat at a vacant counter seat. I handed over the ticket and ordered a rich soup with firm noodles and fried garlic for two servings. At this point, you can also receive a free replacement noodle ticket and complimentary kimchi available only on weekdays. I enjoyed the complimentary kimchi while waiting. The kimchi had a good balance of spiciness and sweetness, very delicious. After a short wait, the ramen arrived along with the fried garlic. This ramen is very simple, consisting of soup, noodles, and chopped green onions. You can choose between rich and light soup. The pork bone broth-based soup had a good balance of soy sauce and a nice saltiness. The richness and sweetness of the lard made the soup delicious. The noodles were thin and firm, providing a good bite and mixing well with the soup. It was a simple and delicious ramen. After finishing the noodles, I ordered a replacement noodle with firm noodles. After a short wait, it was served. This time, I enjoyed it with kimchi and fried garlic for a different flavor. The Factory Ramen is also great. You can truly savor the deliciousness of the noodles and soup. Thank you for the meal. It was very delicious today as well.

Wandering around in search of a noodle shop open during the New Year's holidays. Oh, it looks like this shop is open. I've passed by this shop countless times before, but surprisingly, I've never been inside. This time, I decided to take the opportunity for a first visit and went in. Visited around 12:15 on a holiday. The shop was quite busy inside. Checked the menu at the ticket machine. The set menus were placed at the top. It was a bit difficult to find the basic menu. It took a while. I purchased a ticket for "Kurokotaro 800 yen" and took a seat. I requested the noodles to be firm. I was thinking of getting the Akakotaro, but decided against it as I didn't want to upset my stomach on New Year's. On this day, they were distributing free extra noodle tickets to everyone. Maybe it's because it's New Year's. It's a nice service. After a while, the Kurokotaro arrived. Half of the surface of the soup was covered in ma-yu. When the noodles were served, I also ordered the free fried garlic. If you like garlic, you can't help but order it. I took a sip of the soup. It had no animal smell but you could taste the umami of the animal ingredients. It falls into the category of light tonkotsu but has a decent punch. I really like the presence of ma-yu. If you can choose ma-yu for tonkotsu ramen, I always choose it. The fried garlic was hot and seemed freshly fried. It had salt sprinkled on it, so you can eat it as it is. The junky flavor is fantastic. There was a garlic crusher, but can you use it for fried garlic? I was wondering if it was okay to use it for anything other than raw garlic, so I didn't use it. The clientele that day had a high percentage of young people. And the usage rate of the extra noodle tickets was also high. Extra noodles with fried rice, and then more extra noodles. I left without using the extra noodle ticket. I envy the young stomachs. The shop was incredibly busy that day, probably because it was New Year's. The staff were very busy but still provided cheerful and polite service, which was nice. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in about 15 years. The interior had been renovated and looked clean. I arrived right at the opening time of 11 o'clock. I ordered bottled beer, ramen, and gyoza. There was kimchi on the table for all-you-can-eat. While enjoying beer and kimchi, the ramen arrived. It was a rich and slightly thick soy pork bone broth. It felt like it was even thicker in the past. Since refills were free, I also had a second serving of noodles. The soup was almost completely finished, and it had a taste that I liked. Thank you for the meal.

Late-night hunger in Shinsaibashi at the end of the year led me to explore ramen shops. After considering other options, I decided to make a dash to Kappa's Sen'nichimae main store, even though it was a bit of a walk. The shop gave off a small and cozy vibe, unlike the larger ramen shops you might find in other areas. The inside was almost full, but after a short wait, I entered and purchased a meal ticket. It seemed like they accepted PayPay, but it was a bit confusing, so I paid in cash instead. I ordered the default Kappa ramen with all the toppings (1150 yen) and requested the noodles to be cooked firm. Let me tell you, I was once again reminded of how much I love these ultra-thin noodles. The sense of being at the main store and the relief of having the next day off combined to make the Kappa ramen taste even better than usual. While there wasn't anything flashy, the consistent deliciousness was definitely present here.

In Osaka, there is no ramen shop with a better taste than this one. Their dedication to flavor and noodles is outstanding, making them one of the best in Kansai. If you visit from a different region, you must not miss NGK and this place! It is incredibly delicious. However, it's not recommended for a date. Your girlfriend might get so absorbed in the soup and noodles that she won't pay attention to you at all! ^^
