When I saw a photo of uni (sea urchin) hot pot in a magazine, I was so intrigued that I immediately made a reservation by phone. Upon arrival, the kind uncle standing in front of the store to greet us warmed my heart. The uni hot pot, the star of the show, with its base of tofu and uni, was incredibly delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The fish was fresh and sweet. Luckily, we had a perfect view of the Tenjin Festival boats from the window at just the right time! The staff even went out of their way to tell us, "The festival boats are coming soon!" The hospitality is truly amazing. Overall, I think this restaurant is perfect in terms of taste, service, and view. I will definitely come back.

There is a long-established Japanese restaurant in Soemon-cho, Shinsaibashi, where you can enjoy "uni shabu" (sea urchin hot pot). It was founded in 1928! The soup for the uni shabu is said to be a blend of soy milk and melted sea urchin, which was irresistible. The highlight of the meal was the final course, a delicious risotto. Since it was Hina Matsuri (Doll's Festival) that day, the appetizers were served in containers shaped like Hina dolls. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I felt like eating sea urchin hot pot, so I visited Meiko-ken for the first time in 10 years. I was guided to a private room on the second floor and was able to relax without worrying about the surroundings. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was excellent, so I was very satisfied. It is located within walking distance from Nipponbashi Station on the Osaka Metro and Kintetsu Railway. My friend happened to see the sea urchin hot pot from this restaurant on TV and brought me here. It was interesting how all the vegetables and seafood were immersed in a rich sea urchin broth, creating a delicious sea urchin flavor.

The variety was lacking and the tempura was cold, but maybe it was because there were a lot of people? It's a long-established place, so maybe that's why the price is decent (´・ω・`). I had sukiyaki! The private room had a view of Dotonbori, so I could relax and it was cool. The hostess carefully made the sukiyaki for us. The customer service was amazing. The sukiyaki itself was really delicious, but as I'm getting older, the oil was a bit tough on my stomach, so I got full quickly. It was a nice place where I could relax in the hustle and bustle of the downtown area!
