I used the lunch menu. I entered the restaurant after a group of 5-6 foreigners. It seemed like inbound customers. I ordered the factory ramen and received some kimchi. I like the taste of kimchi, so I asked for seconds. The factory ramen was delicious as always, and I left satisfied. I will visit again.

I was planning to go to a different udon restaurant for lunch with my nephew, but it was too crowded due to the lunch rush, so we ended up visiting this place for the first time. It was 2 o'clock, but there were still customers waiting outside, indicating that it's a popular spot. The noodles are made in-house, and they tasted delicious with the rich head bone soy sauce soup. I just wish the interior of the restaurant was a bit cleaner.

It was just before noon, so we were able to enter with a short wait for 2-3 people. We purchased our meal tickets from the vending machine and were seated at a table side by side. From the nostalgic school chair type seats, we could see what looked like the ramen production area. I ordered the factory ramen, and the taste and noodle firmness were just right for my preference. I will definitely visit again!

I love this restaurant because they serve plenty of crispy fried garlic for free! I love garlic so much and want to eat a lot of it, but unfortunately I can only eat it on weekends because I don't want to smell like garlic during the week. The ramen, fried rice, dumplings, fried chicken, and free kimchi are all delicious, so I recommend trying everything. I personally prefer either the Akakappa or Kokkappa ramen, but I am thinking of trying other flavors soon. Just be aware that there may be a line at random times, so be prepared! (I once finished eating around 11 pm and there were still about 10 people waiting in line!)

On Sunday, I had a late start to the day with a sauna session that ended after 3 pm, so I decided to have a late lunch. I visited the "Kappa Ramen Factory Direct Store" for the first time in 3 years. The restaurant has a convenient large parking lot, which made it easy to park even though it was already 3 pm. I ordered the Kappa Ramen without boiled egg, with extra rich flavor, priced at 880 yen. The staff asked me about my preferences for the flavor and noodle firmness. They also brought complimentary kimchi to my table. I ordered an extra serving of fried garlic, which was also complimentary. The ramen was delicious, and I had a second serving with firmer noodles. The white cabbage kimchi served here was also very tasty. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

This was my first time trying Kappa Ramen! The restaurant has a large parking lot, so it's a factory store. I ordered the Char Siu Ramen and Fried Rice set! When I sat down, I found out that Kimchi is all-you-can-eat for free! You can also get free extra noodles and fried garlic! Amazing, right? It's like Hakata Ramen with thin noodles and pork bone soy sauce broth. For a chain restaurant, it's top-notch! I enjoyed it until the very end.

I had the Kappa Ramen (rich) with fried rice set ⭐︎ The fried rice was supposed to be part of the set, but when it was brought to me, the staff said it was just the fried rice alone. The ramen was delicious once I added garlic, but the fried rice was soggy and disappointing ⭐︎ I like moist fried rice, but clearly soggy fried rice is a bit too much for me (TT) Even late at night, the place was bustling with young people, almost all of them were getting extra servings. I envy the young ones ⭐︎ Thank you for the meal ⭐︎

In Osaka's Naniwa-suji, there is a Kappa Ramen Kobo restaurant. It's actually a noodle factory where you can see them making noodles in the back. When you enter the restaurant, there is a ticket machine where you can order. I was unsure of what to order, so I went with the recently added regular menu item, the White Ramen. I'm not sure what makes it "white" (laughs). The seating is nostalgic, using school chairs. The kimchi is all-you-can-eat and it's really delicious, not too sour. The ramen I had also had crispy fried onions on top, giving it a fragrant and tasty flavor.

I visited a restaurant the other day. I have been busy lately, so I apologize for the delayed review. m(__)m Visited on 11th November 2020 at 12:00. Today, I visited a site in Sakai City early in the morning. The work was canceled due to poor ground conditions near the sea (>_<). On the way back to the office, we decided to have lunch. We headed to a ramen shop recommended by my companions and the driver. Despite passing by another shop with the same name, both of them kept saying, "Let's go to the factory, let's go to the factory!" We arrived at the shop, which is famous for its Dotombori-style ramen, called "Kappa Ramen Honpo" (?). However, my companions mentioned that this shop is different from the usual "Kappa Ramen" shop. They explained that this shop is directly managed by the factory that makes the noodles. Moreover, they mentioned that this shop has a unique menu item called "Factory Ramen," which can only be found here. "Oh, this sounds exciting!" I thought to myself. First, we bought meal tickets at the entrance. Like my companions, I ordered the "Factory Ramen" with an additional boiled egg and "Small White Rice." I handed the meal ticket to the staff and sat down. First, they asked if I wanted the soup to be "light" or "rich." Then, they inquired about the noodle firmness, extra noodle serving, and the timing for the extra noodle serving. They took various orders from us. Now, the meal is ready! Let's eat. First, let's enjoy the soup. "It's delicious!" The soup has just the right amount of lard, and it tastes great. The noodles are thinner than usual, and they have a good firmness. I ordered them to be "normal" firmness, but they have a nice chewiness that goes well with the soup. Truly, it's from "Kappa"! My companions, on the other hand, are saying things like, "Kappa Ramen is best when it's light." The driver, who doesn't usually eat much, ordered an extra noodle serving! Next, I decided to try the "light" soup as well. I also ordered an extra noodle serving! (But the rich soup was delicious too!) I learned about the difference between "Kappa Ramen" and "Factory Ramen" again. "Factory Ramen" is like plain noodles without any toppings like chashu. It's a unique menu item that can only be found at this shop. "It was delicious! I had a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal. m(__)m"

According to the diner's manager, the factory-direct store feels different from other Kappa Ramen shops visited. Visited Kurokappa Ramen at 800 yen. Noodle firmness: firm. Soup temperature: hot. Straight thin noodles, not too oily, with a fairly strong pork bone flavor soup that is delicious. Start by savoring without mixing in the chili oil and then enjoy the change in flavor by mixing it in halfway through. The addition of chili oil to the pork bone broth makes it even more delicious. Adding free ground sesame seeds and kimchi to change the flavor is also delicious and nice. I think I ordered firm noodles, but they were beyond al dente, with a crunchy texture, which is also good. Toppings include seaweed, green onions, bamboo shoots, and chashu. This time, the parking lot was free, with a store-exclusive parking lot.

Chain restaurants' main stores and factory outlets are delicious! I occasionally visit them based on the theory that they are reliable. The quality is higher and more reassuring compared to franchise stores, with consistent taste and good customer service. Additionally, it's great that factory outlets offer simple factory ramen that you can't find anywhere else. Ordering a chashu bowl or a side dish with lots of toppings doesn't make the main ramen too heavy, which is nice.

I visited during lunchtime. It was convenient to have a parking lot! I bought a ticket at the ticket machine first. I ordered ramen with fried chicken set. The ramen had a soft-boiled egg and I chose a light, firm noodle texture. The fried chicken and rice came first, but the fried chicken was made with chicken breast! I was hoping for thigh meat, so I was disappointed. I sprinkled curry salt on it and it was delicious, but I wanted something juicier. The rice can be upgraded to a large portion for free, so I got the large portion! There was kimchi on the table, not too spicy and very tasty! I realized as I was leaving that fried garlic was complimentary. I should have asked for it! What a shock! The ramen felt a bit small. The char siu had a nice burnt aroma and was delicious! Also, you can crush and add fresh garlic yourself, giving it a punch and making it tasty! Next time, I'll order the fried garlic. And I'll try the rich flavor!

I sometimes visit this place late at night. I like the normal ramen with back fat here. I tried the Akakappa ramen once, but it didn't have back fat, just oily with only chili oil and not very spicy, so it felt a bit unsatisfying. I think the best ramen here is the normal rich one with back fat. I like the richness of the back fat and the subtle sweetness that lingers. The free kimchi and fried garlic are appreciated. Furthermore, I was impressed by the free extra noodles on weekdays.

I visited Kappa Ramen! Upon entering, I noticed that everyone at the counter was facing the same direction while eating, like in a school. The menu offered a Chashu rice bowl and ramen set, but the rice was a bit too soft for my liking. I ordered the rich ramen, but the noodles didn't mix well with the soup. The noodles were thin, but had a strange texture, almost like egg noodles. It might not be suitable for those used to Kyushu-style tonkotsu ramen. However, I think the soup itself was not bad.

When searching for the phone number of Kappa Ramen Factory Store on the navigation system, Tomato Club comes up instead! I was curious and looked into it. The first store, located in Shin-Osaka, is actually managed by a company called Kansai Food Service under a different name, Kappa Ramen. The success led to the opening of the second store, the Chuo-Daimae Main Store, which is managed by Tomato Food Service, a company that also operates karaoke boxes and manga cafes. It seems that the branches are divided between these two companies due to various circumstances. Before going to work, I went to Kappa Ramen Honpo, a factory-direct store, with my colleague. We had a meeting while eating ramen there. The place has a nice, spacious, and free parking lot. Despite being in a somewhat remote location, it seems quite popular. You buy food tickets at the entrance. They offer both rich and light flavors. I tried the factory ramen for 600 yen, which was a light option. The Chashu ramen is the rich option. I think the rich one is better. They also have fried rice, fried chicken, and tempura, but the all-you-can-eat kimchi was the best. On weekdays, you can get one free extra serving of noodles.

After finishing work today, I rode my bike westward and ended up at this shop. It was already around 2 pm, but half of the seats inside the shop were already taken. I bought a ticket for Kappa Ramen with a boiled egg from the vending machine for 850 yen. The staff promptly showed me to my seat. They asked me if I wanted the ramen soup to be light or rich, and also asked about how I wanted the noodles cooked. I asked for them to be cooked normally. The noodles were thin, just how I like them. The chashu was soft and delicious, and there was plenty of green onions. The seasoning on the pork slices was also well done. Truly a popular shop, and the ramen was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Osaka, Nishinari-ku, Dejō, this is the original store of back fat soy sauce tonkotsu ramen. The shop is often far from the nearest station, and this one is no exception. It's not a place you can't walk to, but I recommend going by car. I visited the factory-operated store in search of a place that surpasses the original taste. As usual, I ordered ramen with seasoned egg and tried it. What I learned after visiting several shops is that the menu varies slightly depending on the store. Surprisingly, the light soup is recommended! The noodles are still delicious. Kimchi and fried garlic are also good to go with! However, I may not recommend the fried chicken and gyoza. The rest is up to personal judgment!

From the slightly niche "Imamiya Station" on the JR Osaka Loop Line, walk about 600m south to "Kappa Ramen Honpo Factory Direct Store". They have a secure parking lot as well. As it is a factory direct store, I wonder if they make the soup, noodles, and toppings here for their other branches. Inside the spacious store, the nostalgic elementary school-style chairs made me smile. I started with kimchi and Ebisu beer. I chose the "Kappa Ramen (without boiled egg)" for 720 yen. When I handed over my food ticket, they asked about the richness and firmness of the noodles, so this time I went for "rich" and "firm". The tonkotsu broth is on the lighter side, but the generous amount of back fat gives it a sweet richness. The Hakata-style firm, low-water content thin noodles pair well with the soup, providing a crispy texture and allowing you to enjoy the wheat flavor. On weekdays, you can get one free extra serving of noodles, which is a nice bonus. The toppings are simple with pork shoulder chashu, menma, and green onions. Thanks for the meal!
