It was delicious! We went with three people and shared various dishes. The recommended dishes from the restaurant, such as the roasted pork cold noodles, Chinese noodles, fried rice, and dumplings, were all delicious! Among them, the recommended roasted pork cold noodles were so good that I definitely want to order them again next time. The quick service of the dishes also added to our satisfaction! It's also nice that there is a parking lot. I will definitely come back again!

There were no hamburgers, only cold noodles for summer! But today, I decided not to have cold noodles. The parking lot was empty and the restaurant was quiet when I arrived, but within 10 minutes of sitting down, it suddenly became full with a line forming. It was bustling today as well. The lively atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice. There are plenty of parking spaces, which is convenient.

In Kyoto, Sakai's cold noodles are famous at this Chinese restaurant, which has a clean and spacious interior that allows you to relax and enjoy your meal. The unique cold noodles are definitely worth a visit just for that one dish. However, the other menu items are also delicious, so it's great to come with a large group and order a variety of dishes to share!

I visited the restaurant after a long time because I really wanted to eat cold noodles (is it called chilled Chinese noodles in the east?). I usually go on weekday nights, but this time I went on a Sunday afternoon... I underestimated it. I first went to the main store, but there were a few cars waiting in the parking lot, so I went to Misokoshi Bridge. It turned out to be just like the main store... I think some people had the same idea and followed the same route. Even though I was already craving cold noodles, I reluctantly gave up and went to Kamigamo Shrine to search for other restaurants. When I came back as a last resort, the line had decreased and the parking lot was empty. I immediately parked and lined up at the front of the line. After a short wait, I entered the restaurant. I ordered the roasted pork cold noodles and fried rice (which apparently is called fried rice in the east). The sauce for the cold noodles here is excellent. I would love to soak in a bath of that sauce, but my skin is sensitive so I'll pass on that idea.

I came here once before, but I don't remember much, so it feels like my first visit. I took a taxi from Takao to get here. We started with a toast with gyoza and beer, followed by mapo tofu and crab omelet as appetizers. Then we had the main dishes, cold noodles and fried rice. My family of four finished everything super quickly, and even added an extra serving of cold noodles. The noodles were firm and delicious. My son loved the crab omelet, and my daughter kept praising how everything was delicious. Overall, the food was quite tasty, and this place is now a candidate for dinner on our next trip to Kyoto. Thank you for the meal. We will visit again.

Finally visited this Chinese restaurant known for their hiyashi chuka. They also offer dishes like fried rice and gyoza, making it a well-rounded Chinese restaurant. I was a bit hesitant about the sourness of hiyashi chuka, but here it was great. The fried rice and gyoza were authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and there are discount days, making it a student-friendly spot. A very Kyoto-style restaurant!

I ordered char siu cold noodles (large), Tianjin fried rice, and dumplings. The char siu cold noodles had soft slightly thick noodles that were well coated in a flavorful broth, very delicious. The "large" portion was satisfying and perfect for sharing between two people. The Tianjin fried rice had a slightly sweet flavor, so if you prefer a more soy sauce-based seasoning, it might feel a bit different. The dumplings were incredibly tasty, with high-quality minced meat used in them. They left a strong impression and I would definitely want to come back and eat them again.

I came to try the cold noodles because I saw them often on TV. I arrived around 12:30 and had to wait for about 3 groups, but I was able to enter relatively quickly. I was looking forward to the ham cold noodles and also ordered Tianjin fried rice and dumplings. The cold noodles had a nostalgic taste and were delicious. I was surprised to find out that the Tianjin fried rice was made with minced meat and had a sweet taste. I later learned that this was also a famous menu item.

Misono Hashi Sakai's grilled pork cold noodles for ¥820 and Tianjin rice for ¥760. When it comes to cold noodles, you can't go wrong with Misono Hashi Sakai. The noodles were thick, cooked soft but with a nice bite. The Tianjin rice was not in a clear broth but in a white soup base, giving it a sweet flavor. Located at 38-3 Omiya Higashi-Somonouchicho, Kyoto City, Kita-ku.

I heard about the chilled noodles at Kyoto 1 and decided to visit. I arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday, expecting a long line, but there was no wait at all. Maybe it's busier at the main branch? I ordered the chilled noodles with roasted pork and fried rice. The chilled noodles were delicious! The sauce was a sesame dressing with a hint of mustard, which was tasty. I've had chilled noodles from a convenience store before, and they were just as delicious as the ones at the restaurant. The fried rice was light and a bit mild for my taste. The soup that came with it was also delicious. Many people were ordering takeout, so I also ordered some to enjoy with my family at home.

During this season, I always crave for cold noodles (in Kyoto, cold Chinese noodles are called "hiyamugi"). One popular spot for cold noodles, which is loved by many celebrities and draws visitors from all over the country, is Misohashi Sakai. Located in Kyoto's Kita-ku, it is a bit far from Kitaoji Station, but if you get off at the Omiya Tajiricho bus stop, it's only a 1-minute walk away. Kyoto has a convenient bus system that can take you to various places, and I recommend taking the bus for a fun and enjoyable journey. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 1 PM and had to wait for about 30 minutes in a line of 10 people to get a table. Here's what I ordered: "Char Siu Cold Noodles" (regular) ¥820, "Yakimeshi (with soup)" ¥650. The "Char Siu Cold Noodles" is the most popular dish at the restaurant, and it comes with char siu, cucumber, and chopped seaweed as simple toppings. The standout feature is the noodles - thick, chewy, and smooth, unlike any other cold noodles I've had before. The sweet and sour sauce, with a hint of mustard, perfectly complements the noodles, creating a delicious combination. Despite the simple toppings, the noodles and sauce shine through, delivering an overwhelmingly delicious taste. The "Yakimeshi" is a classic fried rice dish that is simple yet perfectly balanced in flavor. The accompanying soup was also delicious, making me want to try their ramen next time. It was a delightful meal. Thank you very much.

Oh! It's Friday but it's a holiday! Unfortunately, the discount doesn't apply (crying) Oh no! The line is so long! I've never seen it this long before! Even the garage is crowded! It's getting serious (^_^;) I ordered roasted pork cold noodles, dumplings, fried chicken, harumaki, and fried rice! Beer is going down smoothly! As always, it's delicious!

I visited this restaurant with cold noodles in mind! It was my first time eating cold noodles at a restaurant, so I was excited. When the dish arrived, the visually appealing cold noodles were overwhelming. Even though it was cold noodles, the slightly strong flavor that went well with rice was perfect for my taste. I would love to visit this restaurant again.

I visited my hometown, greeted the neighbors and took care of some errands before heading to Kyoto. It was hot, so I didn't see many people riding bikes, especially foreigners. I had lunch at a place where I could easily find parking before 12:00. I ordered the cold ramen with roasted pork for 1200 yen and also bought two servings of ham cold ramen for 2800 yen as a souvenir. It was too hot to buy other souvenirs like bread or grilled rice cakes, so I just went back home. The cold ramen needed to be eaten within 30 minutes, but I couldn't finish it in time as I had to drive back to Osaka. My wife scolded me for not eating it right away. The cold ramen from Sakai-san was delicious, but I thought the seasoning was a bit strong, with a base of spicy miso. I remembered another cold ramen shop nearby, but it wasn't listed on Tabelog. For dinner, I had the ham cold ramen, which had a vinegar soy sauce base. I realized that ordering both the roasted pork cold ramen and ham cold ramen allowed for a nice variety in flavors. I dream of enjoying a bottle of beer and a set meal, but it's not possible to drink and drive. Thank you for the meal!

In the summer, I always feel like going to Sakai. Well, in the summer, there are always long lines. And standing in line under the scorching sun is no joke. This year, I tried the cold noodles for the first time. It's definitely a good choice. The rich Chinese sauce with a indescribable spicy flavor makes you want to drink it all up. The generous portion of fried rice is also delicious. I had to give up on the Tianjin rice today.

Misono Hashi Sakai, Chukka no Sakai, and Kyoto Naengmyeon are famous restaurants! With the sudden heat, I felt like I needed to eat something... and remembered that a person from Osaka said this place was delicious! So I decided to go! The medium-thick noodles in the cold noodles were a big hit! There are many places with thin noodles, but this one was a good mix of freshness and nostalgia! The fact that they are open all day on Sundays is also a good point!

It had been over 10 years since I last visited. My wife suddenly wanted to eat Sakai's cold noodles, so we came here. I had the ham cold noodles, while my wife had the char siu cold noodles. Char siu was overwhelmingly popular, but for some reason, I have always preferred ham. Maybe it's because of its simplicity that it's so popular. The chewy noodles and rich soup were honestly delicious. I regret not getting the large portion. The dumplings were also pretty tasty.

I heard from an acquaintance living in Kyoto that when it comes to Chinese food in Kyoto, "Misono Hashi Sakai" is the place to go. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30, but there were already about 10 people lined up in front of me. After waiting for about 30 minutes, we finally got in. The recommended dishes were cold noodles (Hiyashi Chuka) and Tenshinhan. Of course, we ordered both. Since there were 4 of us that day, we also ordered dumplings and other side dishes to share. First, the cold noodles (Hiyashi Chuka) were absolutely delicious! It had a unique taste, the best cold noodles I've ever had! "Misono Hashi Sakai's" cold noodles (Hiyashi Chuka) are completely different from the usual cold noodles, I want to shout that out! And then the Tenshinhan. This was amazing. Not only was it overwhelmingly filling, but the sauce was rich and fantastic. Imagine fried rice soaked in a thick soup like "Tenkaippin". Are you feeling happy yet? Personally, I think this restaurant is one of the top in town. If it was near my house, I would go there twice a week. I definitely want to visit again!!

The usual wedding anniversary 1 night 2 days tour. For lunch on the first day, we went to a local Chinese restaurant♪ Finally, we arrived at the famous Misono Bridge Sakai-san! From morning, 70% of my brain has been thinking about the cold noodles. I've heard rumors about it, but I wonder what it tastes like? I didn't have much of an appetite because I had a luxurious morning in Kitayama, but it's midsummer and humid, so it should be delicious. There are plenty of parking spaces, which is a pleasant surprise♪ We arrived a little before lunchtime. We entered the restaurant smoothly. The restaurant seemed to have been renovated, with a clean and modern feel. From the lunch specials, I ordered the cold noodles with char siu and gyoza. My husband, for some reason, wanted to eat warm noodles, so he ordered the Cantonese ramen and sweet and sour pork. The food we ordered was brought to us quite quickly. There was only black pepper on the table, and when we ordered the gyoza, they brought a sauce set. Maybe they are being careful about hygiene. And finally, the cold noodles I've been waiting for! Cucumbers, char siu, etc. were thinly sliced and already coated in sauce! It had a refreshing taste with vinegar and a hint of mustard. The noodles were smooth and I could eat as much as I wanted. The sprinkled seaweed on top added a nice fragrance! So this is the famous cold noodles. The gyoza was also delicious! We shared the sweet and sour pork, which was excellent. The only dish my husband ordered, the Cantonese ramen, was not what he expected. He seemed to want more punch. Maybe the menu with a tangy flavor is recommended here. I'm very satisfied as I love sour foods♪ Fridays seem to be a good deal day. But I wonder if it gets crowded? This is a must-visit famous restaurant in Kyoto that I would like to visit again.

I came to Misohashi Sakai, a place I've been wanting to try for a while. Although I initially planned to only have the char siu cold noodles, I ended up getting excited and also ordered the Tenshin rice and gyoza. The cold noodles were as expected, with chewy noodles and a flavorful soy sauce-based special sauce. The Tenshin rice had a slightly sweet and unique taste, which I found quite delicious. The gyoza was filled generously with meat and was very tasty. If I ever come near this place again, I would definitely want to eat here. Thank you for the meal!
