Heart Shop Group's tempura restaurant "Tempura Heart Shop" opens in Sakaisuji Hommachi. I love the Japanese restaurant "Heart Shop" in Kita-Shinchi. I heard that "Heart Shop" started a new tempura restaurant in June this year, so I finally went to visit. It is located between Sakaisuji Hommachi and Kitahama Station, about a 5-minute walk from each. It's a hidden gem, but this area seems to be bustling with salarymen on weekdays. It was said to be empty during Obon, so I took the chance to visit. Check out the article on "Heart Shop" in Kita-Shinchi here. Enjoy Awaji Island ingredients at "Heart Shop Hon-dori Store" in Kita-Shinchi. Thisis Just the Right Tempura Shop The calm atmosphere of the interior has just the right touch of luxury. It doesn't feel too high-end, nor too casual. It's a perfect restaurant for dates and entertaining! Seasonal Color Course 4,500 yen Although there is an a la carte menu, the course is recommended. The Seasonal Color Course, using seasonal ingredients, includes appetizers, sashimi, and 11 pieces of tempura, all for 4,500 yen. I think this price range for a tempura course is quite rare! The cost performance is excellent!! And with carefully selected ingredients unique to the "Heart Shop" group, and a light coating made with rice flour, you can feel the cost performance! Appetizer Assortment, Oboro Tofu, Edamame, Homemade Sea Chicken, Half-Boiled Egg with Prosciutto A restaurant that puts effort into the appetizers is said to have a guaranteed success in the subsequent dishes. Mini Salad Before the tempura, a vegetable charge. Depending on the ingredient, you can enjoy grated daikon radish with tempura sauce or rock salt. Sashimi Assortment The tuna from Miyazaki has a melting texture. The octopus from Akashi has a delightful elasticity. The squid is finely sliced and has a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture. Angel Prawn The first piece of tempura is an angel prawn. It has a unique gentle elasticity and a soft fluffiness. Enjoy the sweetness with rock salt. Tokushima New Lotus Root The new lotus root from Tokushima makes a crisp sound when bitten. And how sweet is it, just like corn! Red Mangetsuji Pepper It's rare to see red Mangetsuji peppers. They are sweeter than the normal ones. Juicy and thick. Incredible Sweet Corn It has a strange name, but it's the official name. As the name suggests, it is incredibly sweet corn!! I was amazed by the three consecutive vegetable dishes! Conger Eel and Okra Roll The conger eel with okra wrapped around it. The contrast in texture is enjoyable. Tokushima Large Shiitake Mushroom This giant lump is actually a shiitake mushroom! The shiitake mushroom is fried with a slightly thick coating, so the crispy coating is hearty, and the shiitake mushroom inside peeks out with a "juicy! tender" two-step structure. It's amazing. Sand Lance and Tarako Roll The sand lance is light and goes well with the tempura made with rice flour. The "light kiss" has a sweet and beautiful sound... What is it? The tarako and large leaf are accents. Awaji Beef Lamb Shin The "Heart Shop" group uses Awaji beef!! The lamb shin, when made into tempura, has a perfect rare finish. It has a smooth bite, and the fat melts as you eat. Compare it with wasabi and karashi miso. Konjac with Roe Miso Dressing Here, a vinegar dish to reset the palate. Umeiro Fish in Plum-Colored Sauce The Umeiro fish is a high-class fish from the sea bream family. It is served in a gentle broth with a sprinkling of crushed plum, creating a refreshing finish. Thick Asparagus Thick asparagus is always a winner!! Enhance the sweetness with salt. Naruto Sweet Potato Steamed for Three Hours This is a specialty. The Naruto sweet potato, steamed for three hours, is like a sweet potato. The smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture, paired with the light coating of rice flour, is perfect. It's a dish you want to eat every day. Eel Tempura Donburi The finale is a bowl of rice topped with a thick eel. It's a mix of fluffy and crispy textures. The hot white rice mixed with the sauce. Why is it that you always want white rice at the end of tempura? In any case, it's happiness. Enjoyed it thoroughly. The 4,500 yen course was a great deal. Even with drinks, it's around 6,000 yen. It was a great cost performance. Other Menu Items Reviewer Page on Tabelog: http://tabelog.com/rvwr/mach/ This is the place for a date! Blog: https://kudokimeshi.com/ Old Blog: http://osusume
