This is "Horumon Ramen 8910 Hakujyu Sennichimae Store" located in Sennichimae Shopping Street, just across from Bic Camera towards Dotonbori. I wanted to try the unique combination of horumon (offal) and ramen, so I visited for lunch. They offer a weekday special lunch menu from 11:00 to 15:00. Set A includes your choice of ramen, rice, and kimchi for 1,000 yen (tax included), while Set B includes your choice of ramen, rice, kimchi, and gyoza for 1,300 yen (tax included). It seems like these set menus are a good deal. I bought my meal ticket at the ticket machine outside, but I was unsure where to find the weekday special lunch options. Since there was no one else in line, I took a deep breath and carefully looked for it without rushing. After buying the ticket, I couldn't decide which ramen to choose, but ultimately went with the most popular option, the Akahorumon Ramen. The restaurant has a spacious counter seating area, and even though it was lunchtime, I was the only customer. I handed over my ticket and told them I wanted the Akahorumon Ramen, then waited for my order. The condiments included grated garlic, chili pepper, and pepper for flavor customization. The Akahorumon Ramen with rice and kimchi cost 1,000 yen. The Akahorumon Ramen served in a hot stone pot had a simmering soup. The soup was hot, spicy, and full of umami flavor. It was delicious. The spiciness was just right, not too overwhelming, and complemented the rich umami flavor well. The noodles were medium thick straight noodles that soaked up the spicy soup nicely, making it very tasty. The horumon (offal) consisted of four large pieces of intestines, fatty and tender. As I chewed, I could taste the sweetness, which paired well with the spiciness of the soup. The rice and kimchi were standard. Mixing the rice with the soup enhanced the flavor, making it equally delicious as the noodles. Adding grated garlic for flavor enhancement increased the aroma and made it even more delicious. The meal ended with a horumon cuppa, using the remaining horumon and kimchi. The hot and spicy soup made the Akahorumon Ramen a delicious and satisfying meal. The restaurant's website mentions that on the 8th, 9th, or 10th of every month, it's "8910 Day," where ramen is only 500 yen! The set menus are also said to be a good deal. The specific day is announced at the beginning of each month in the store. It's a surprise until you visit! Bon appétit.
