This is a restaurant located inside New Chitose Airport. The beef is 100% Wagyu, so it was very delicious and meaty. The wasabi flavor was strong and paired well with the beef. The set meal with rice was around 3000 yen. The hamburger was increased to 225 grams in size, so it was very satisfying to eat.

After buying souvenirs at Chitose Airport, I started to feel hungry so I had a sirloin steak. It had a casual Bronco Billy-style flavor and was delicious. The shops at Chitose Airport close early, so I had to hurry to eat. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a new restaurant for dinner today. I ordered a set with a hamburger topped with plenty of cheese fondue sauce. The hamburger had even more cheese fondue sauce than in the picture, and I was quite pleased. Next time, I'll try a different sauce!

Hokkaido Tanagoku beef x charcoal-grilled x Nambu ironware, the specialty "Kamado Maruyama" style. Directly delivered Hokkaido Tanagoku beef from a designated ranch. A stone kiln specially made to grill the meat over charcoal. The steak plate from Nambu ironware designed to provide the best conditions. The hamburger grilled over charcoal is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, bringing out the rich flavor of the beef. The sauce that complements the natural taste of the beef is also a part of the Kamado style. In addition to the hamburger, there are also appetizers and homemade desserts using seasonal ingredients. The one I tried was the "Namara Corn Cheese Hamburger", which took 20 minutes to arrive. The rare hamburger with melted cheese and a hint of salt was a great combination! The Hokkaido-grown side vegetables were also very delicious! The seating is spacious and comfortable, making it a good place to relax and pass the time.

The hamburger steak is more like a hamburger steak than a hamburger, with a moderate amount of juiciness and a perfect match with the Japanese-style sauce. The vegetables and Japanese-style sauce served with it are also delicious. The taste is good, but the price for the 190g hamburger steak set with Japanese-style sauce at ¥2,500 is relatively high. Personally, I felt that it was not quite satisfying in terms of filling me up to about 60% full. I would recommend it to those who eat small portions.

Walking around the third-floor dining area, I come across a restaurant I have never seen before. Kama Maruyama, huh? I didn't know there was such a place in Maruyama. Despite feeling a bit forced by the restaurant's name, I decide to enter because it seems like it would go well with beer. I am seated and check the menu. Well, airport food prices, right? Even though the portions are small, the prices are quite high. I feel that the menu is hard to understand, which leaves a bad impression. Maruyama is known for its luxury in Sapporo. Using that name, the restaurant's appearance and atmosphere are impressive, but the unfriendly attitude of the staff and the confusion of the menu prices make me realize that this place is not good. They serve the hamburger as 100% beef, cooked medium-rare. It's not a particularly unusual story, but the hamburger is cut in two and served with the cut side on the hot plate. Some places cut it for you when it arrives at your table, but this one comes pre-cut, so it's already well done. The taste is okay, I guess. When in Sapporo, there are delicious hamburger restaurants like TOSHI and North Continent. Moreover, North Continent has a store in Maruyama! In conclusion, if you want to eat a hamburger, eat it before going to the airport.

Upon arrival, I immediately went to a hamburger and steak specialty restaurant. They use short-horned cattle from Hokkaido. At the entrance, it was written that hamburgers are made to order, so it takes about 20 minutes to be served, and that was indeed the case. I ordered the demi-glace hamburger. The price per person ranges from 1600 to 2500 yen for a single item. The new staff member seemed to be a bit inexperienced, with a surprisingly monotone voice when introducing the menu, and sometimes placing the hamburger on the hot plate without asking whose order it was... (it's not a big deal, but it's really dangerous to carry the hot plate with tongs, so I'd prefer they avoid unnecessary risks... haha One misstep and you could get a serious burn...) That was a bit concerning. The side vegetables, especially the onions, were delicious. Truly Hokkaido quality! Made with 100% beef and very juicy.

In mid-November, I visited Hokkaido for the first time in almost a year. Due to a late arrival at Chitose Airport, I decided to have dinner at the airport. I had chosen this restaurant in advance, which I had never been to before. I found it difficult to understand the menu both online and in person. The menu mainly consisted of hamburgers and steaks, but the toppings and sauces were not clearly organized, making it hard to navigate. The font on the menu was also difficult to read. I ordered a steak and a hamburger, and looked for vegetable side dishes, but only found edamame. When I placed my order, the staff told me to make sure to hide my bag under the chair to avoid getting splattered with meat juice. The staff seemed more cautious than the famous performances of cutting hamburgers on a hot iron plate at restaurants like Sawaya in Shizuoka or the imitation at Flying Garden in northern Kanto. I asked if they could prepare everything in the kitchen to avoid getting my clothes smelling, but they said it was not possible. I waited anxiously until a sizzling iron plate arrived. I followed the instructions to block the sizzling sound with a paper napkin until it stopped. I carefully waited for about 2 minutes before starting to eat. The hamburger and steak came with a good amount of vegetables, but they were quite rustic. It was nice to see the Hokkaido influence, but it was a bit tough to finish the large amount of onions. The steak was tough and not very tasty, so I chewed carefully to avoid injuring my mouth. The hamburger also had a sauce that didn't suit my taste, and the burger itself had a burnt smell rather than a charcoal aroma. I had heard that this was a popular branch of a restaurant in Sapporo, but I was a bit disappointed with the dinner. While many airports have improved their dining options, this restaurant felt more like old airport food.

Having dinner at New Chitose Airport. Not many restaurants are open under the state of emergency... Sometimes a hamburger sounds good. Steak with wasabi on top goes well. But what about a hamburger? With that in mind, I chose a 160g hamburger with plenty of wasabi on top. Since I'm here, I'll have a non-alcoholic beer too (laughs). The sizzling hamburger, sprinkling fat on the hot iron plate, looks delicious! It comes with potatoes, onions, corn, and green beans. Maybe I'll just stick to the meat for now. First, I try the meat without the wasabi. The medium-rare cooked meat is juicy and meaty (laughs). Then, I try it with the wasabi. Oh, it's surprisingly spicy and sharp. It's not bad, but personally, I prefer to eat this meat as it is. The price is good, and it's definitely tasty.

The Hamburger! Since I had children with me, I opted for a well-done burger instead of the recommended medium. I should have gone with the recommended way of cooking, but the Cheese Fondue Cheeseburger was satisfying! It was delicious.

Hamburg dinner at New Chitose Airport! You can order and have it baked in the oven! Ordered the Short Horn Beef Steak with Garlic Sauce and the Hamburg with Wasabi Sauce! I ordered the Hamburg rare with the fresh and spicy Wasabi Sauce recommended by the staff! The wasabi was very fresh and spicy but delicious! I was worried the steak might be tough, but it was delicious! It took about 20 minutes from ordering to arrive piping hot, so it seems good to plan for some extra time!

Having lunch at New Chitose Airport. It seems that all the stores have resumed operations after the state of emergency was lifted. When I heard "freshly arrived today," my heart was captured. The fillet steak, cut into dice-like pieces, sizzled on the hot plate. The rare meat that came out was tender and juicy. The meat was full of flavor and very satisfying. If you want meat at Chitose Airport, this is the place to go.

I had always wanted to visit Rishiri Island and Rebun Island, and finally, I got the chance to go. Since there are no direct flights from Haneda Airport to Rishiri Airport, we had to make a stopover at New Chitose Airport. I was hoping to try some delicious ramen shops around New Chitose Airport, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time this time. However, there is a floor at New Chitose Airport that gathers famous Hokkaido shops, so we chose a well-known restaurant in Sapporo this time. The hamburg steak made with Hokkaido Tanchiku beef was cooked well and full of meaty flavor. The demi-glace sauce was also delicious. According to their website, their specialty is the combination of "Hokkaido Tanchiku beef" x "charcoal-fired stone kiln" x "Nanbu ironware." Despite past troubles like losing tickets or being stranded due to heavy snow at New Chitose Airport, this time we were able to depart for Rishiri Airport without any issues.

I had a hamburger for lunch before my flight. I couldn't decide between the Cheese Burger and the Wasabi Burger, but I ended up getting the set with the "Hokkaido-grown Ebetsu-produced Spicy Wasabi Special Japanese-style Sauce." The hamburger was authentic and freshly grilled. It was very delicious. However, the pile of wasabi was too spicy and made me choke a little (^^;; The half-grilled onion was sweet and tasty. Thank you for the meal.

This is my first visit since the restaurant moved from Maruyama to New Chitose Airport. I used to be a big fan of the Maruyama location, not only for the taste but also for the atmosphere of the restaurant. However, it's less convenient for me to visit now that it's at the airport. I ordered the three types of hamburger to compare. When it was in Maruyama, I used to order the hamburger made of 100% beef without any fillers, cooked rare, and enjoy changing the cooking level little by little on the hot plate while eating it with salt. Unfortunately, at the airport, they can't serve the hamburger rare due to airport regulations. The taste is still delicious, but I preferred the Maruyama location more. The atmosphere and service were better there.

The last dinner of the family trip in Hokkaido was here. My son wanted to have meat for the last meal. Personally, I wanted to go to Matsuo Jingisukan, but after some consideration, we ended up here. It turned out to be the right choice. We all ordered the sirloin steak, which was delicious despite being reasonably priced, and everyone was satisfied. However, the restaurant was empty. In the end, Hokkaido's last meal should probably be jingisukan after all. That restaurant was packed with customers. So, this place turned out to be an unexpected hidden gem. It's recommended when you don't have much time before your flight. But you know, returning the rental car and enjoying a drink without a care in the world is just so good (laughs). My personal feelings may have influenced my rating, so please take that into consideration.

On the final day of my trip to Hokkaido, I returned the rental car at New Chitose Airport. I had planned to relax in the airport hot springs, have a meal, and then catch my flight since my departure time was late. However, things didn't go as planned and I only had about 1 hour and 30 minutes until my flight. I decided to skip the hot springs and opt for a delicious meal before boarding the plane. With a wide selection of restaurants on the 3rd floor of the airport, my kids wanted sushi but the line was too long. I realized I hadn't eaten Hokkaido beef during my trip, so I chose a hamburger and steak restaurant. The restaurant warned that the hamburger would take 20 minutes to prepare and the entire meal would take 50-60 minutes. The hamburger was made fresh after ordering, with the sound of air being patted into it. The steak was cooked on a far-infrared grill. The set meal included potato salad and onion soup, made with Hokkaido onions. The potato salad had a soy sauce flavor and the corn seemed like it could be from a can. The sirloin steak was served on a hot plate, cooked to a medium doneness, and topped with tomato sauce. The meat was flavorful and rich, despite being lean. The hamburger was mostly meat, very satisfying, with no noticeable vegetables as binders. The side vegetables of onions and potatoes were also satisfying.

The day after returning from a business trip to Kansai, I was ordered to go to Nagoya in the afternoon! My company, which doesn't see me as a person with a family, is quite black! But it's work, so I have no choice... Before boarding the plane, I had a meal at New Chitose Airport. The place I visited seems to be a branch of "Kamado Maruyama" in Sapporo. However, the main store in Maruyama is currently listed as "publication pending" on Tabelog. I've never been to the main store, and I've never consciously looked for it nearby, so I don't know if it's closed. The single item "Roast Beef Bowl (120g)" costs 1,280 yen. By the way, if you get a set with salad, pickles, and soup, it costs 1,680 yen. 120g is more voluminous than I thought! I'll enjoy it with the sweet garlic sauce on top. I've recently realized that "like a maiden's nipples... beautiful and elastic... there's no such thing as bad pink meat!" Today's roast beef is no exception, it's delicious!
