The thick seafood dipping noodles come in regular, large, and extra-large sizes at the same price. Only the mountain size incurs an additional charge. Even the large size wasn't quite enough for me, but the seafood soup was delicious and I really liked it. The dipping noodles have thick noodles, so they take a little longer to cook.

I used it for lunch during my break. When I passed by and saw meat soba, I suddenly stopped and felt like eating it, so I entered. I thought it was a little strong, but it had a good texture and the grated radish also went well with it, making it delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Santo Momen Zan at Sanpoumen: I had the double serving of meat and flavored egg topping on my meat soba with mizore. Sometimes you just feel like going all out with the toppings. The generous pork belly, sweet soup, and spicy grated daikon make for a solid and delicious bowl. It's a shame that the noodles don't stand out much. I wish they were the thick noodles like in the tsukemen.

I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with thinly sliced meat like shabu-shabu in front of the gym for an energy boost. It's great that you can change the flavor with grated daikon radish. The spicy kick is irresistible. It's the kind of dish that you should try at least once. I want to come back for the tsukemen.

I had the sleet meat soba, it cost 680 yen. It was really delicious but didn't quite fill me up. I recommend getting an extra serving of noodles. The broth was rich so I left a little bit. It seems like they're open until around 3pm, so I'd like to go back if I end up working late again.

Santo Men ~ Zan ~ Sakai Muscle Shop (Osaka, Nagahoribashi) Mizore Niku Soba with Iggy 2022 Ramen 16th Cup Today I also visited Nagahoribashi for ramen hunting. I knew about this restaurant's existence, but hadn't been inside before, so today I decided to try "Santo Men ~ Zan ~". It was a little after 12 o'clock, so there was a wait for about 4 people. I quickly purchased the "Mizore Niku Soba" from the ticket machine and then sat down. After about 5 minutes, my order arrived, and I was served in about 15 minutes. I took a sip of the soup, which had a chicken bone base with floating back fat, similar to Marugen Ramen in appearance. It's a bit richer than it looks, but you can feel the richness of the back fat and the sharpness of the seasoning. You can also melt the grated radish in the middle for a refreshing flavor change. The noodles are homemade flat, medium-thin straight noodles with whole wheat flour, which are high-hydration noodles. They seem to be noodles specially made for Mizore Niku Soba, with a wheat flavor. They have a chewy texture with a good firmness and mix well with the soup. The pork belly is also well-seasoned and delicious.

It's close to home and on the way back from work, so it's easy to stop by haha! The hot and steaming hot miso meat ramen is amazing! The thin straight noodles go well with the soy sauce ramen, topped with grated radish and pork belly. It's a light and refreshing ramen. The best part is that even after finishing the noodles, the broth is still hot and steaming! On cold days, it really warms you up. ♡

Today's lunch was a bit early. It was just past 11 o'clock, so there were plenty of empty seats in the restaurant. It was a small first floor, but I was able to find a seat. I bought a ticket at the vending machine without hesitation and chose the rich seafood dipping noodles for 850 yen. Although the extra large portion is free, I opted for the regular size, which is still 350g of noodles, which is sufficient for someone like me who is watching their weight. The noodles arrived. They were a unique slightly brownish, medium-thick flat noodles. The rich seafood soup coated the noodles well, making them chewy and delicious. The soup contained thick bamboo shoots, as well as fatty pork slices in the same shape. You can adjust the aroma with the special fish powder on the table. It was gone in no time. I am grateful for my healthy body today too.

Today's lunch was at Sanpomen Sanpomen Zan Sakaisuji-ten in Osaka, Sakaisuji Honmachi. It's my second time here, I think. This ramen chain originated in Kobe. I had the following: Shigure Niku Soba (680 yen) with a mini fried rice set (+250 yen). When you think of Sanpomen, you usually think of tsukemen or rich tonkotsu broth, but I didn't know they also serve a "meat soba" like Marugen Ramen. So, I decided to order it. I purchased my meal ticket from the vending machine and sat at the counter to wait. The staff were of Chinese descent. After a short wait, the fried rice arrived first. It looked delicious. Then, a few minutes later, the meat soba was served. This grated daikon with chili pepper on top is great. The balance of refreshing, spicy, and the soy-based soup is perfect. Itadakimasu. Hmm, tasty. However, I feel like there's a lack of umami for something labeled as "meat soba." The balance of refreshing, spicy, and the umami from the meat/fat is not quite there. I still think Marugen Ramen's version is tastier. Next, the fried rice. A mini portion. Hmm, simple and delicious. It's like homemade fried rice, not greasy, with a moist flavor. Finished it all. Ah, I indulged in the forbidden combination of ramen and fried rice again. All gone. Menu 1, Menu 2, Storefront. Website: https://sanpomen.jp/ [Shop Information] Address: 1-9-12 Hakuraku-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka, 541-0059 Phone: 06-6263-1003 Business Hours: 11:00-22:30 (Weekdays), 11:00-22:00 (Sundays) Seating: Counter 9 seats, Table 20 seats.

This ramen shop on Sakaisuji seems to be a chain store. I ordered the cheapest ramen to save money that day. The staff, possibly Chinese, were working together harmoniously. They were preparing boiled eggs. The soup was not very impressive, with a taste of pork fat from the simmered pork. The noodles were average. Overall, the food was okay, nothing special. It was a decent choice for a day when I didn't have much appetite. Ramen shops along Sakaisuji are quite similar. Thank you for the meal.

Sanho Men has a unique concept of specializing in meat soba. The first floor has only a counter, but there are table seats on the second floor. The Ajitama Mizore Niku Soba costs 780 yen, and the special of the day is the Aburi Chashu Don for 250 yen. The Aburi Chashu Don has deliciously charred chashu, which pairs well with the rice and sauce. The Ajitama Mizore Niku Soba has a spicy kick from the momiji oroshi, which complements the chicken broth soup. The noodles are thin and might be homemade. The pork belly and back fat were not as abundant as expected, which was disappointing for those who enjoy them. They also offer free masks, which is a nice service.

After finishing work outside, I was planning to hurry home, but I ended up passing by a flag waving for meat soba and got drawn in like it was calling out to me (lol). It's located in Sakaisuji Hommachi, "Santomi" is a vending machine system where you purchase a food ticket. I was only planning to get the meat soba, but as I was putting in money and looking at the buttons, I accidentally pressed the button for the half-fried rice set (´-∀-`;). The meat soba was light and easy to eat, with the spicy red leaf radish adding a nice kick. The meat was tender and the fried rice had a strong flavor, giving it a satisfying taste. There are counter seats for solo diners and table seats for friends or family to relax and enjoy.

Last time I had the pork and noodle soup, this time I tried the dipping noodles. They offer free upsizing to a large or extra large portion, which was tempting but I opted for the large to stick to my diet. The rich dipping sauce coated the thick noodles perfectly, making it a definite favorite for me. The pork and noodle soup I had last time was also delicious, so I can see myself coming back to this restaurant multiple times.

I visited this shop for the first time. I ordered the "Mizore Niku Soba," which has a nice name. It consists of pork belly, green onions, and grated daikon radish on thin noodles with some whole wheat flour mixed in. The soup is a hot chicken broth with plenty of back fat, as you can see the steam in the photo. You can also crush the grated daikon radish halfway through to change the taste, which is nice. The fried rice and fried chicken look delicious too, so I might try the set next time.

I walked around this area after a long time. It was lunchtime. I heard that the miso ramen here is delicious, so I ordered it. It had a light soy sauce broth with grated radish for a refreshing taste. The noodles were thin and smooth. Overall, it didn't leave a strong impression on me. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I ordered the rich seafood dipping noodles with seasoned egg. The noodles were flat and I asked for them to be served hot. The soup had a strong seafood flavor, and the seasoned egg yolk was just right. The chashu was thickly sliced. I left some of the fatty parts, but I enjoyed it until the end. (*⌒―⌒*)

When walking around Osaka, you often see "San Toh Men" here and there. Today, I visited "San Toh Men ~Zan~ Sakai-Suji Store". Upon entering the store, there is a vending machine where you can purchase food tickets. When I arrived, it was relatively empty, but around 12:30 pm, the first floor was full. The location facing Sakai-Suji Street attracts a lot of foot traffic. The "Mizore Niku Soba" comes with toppings such as pork belly, grated red leaf, yuzu, and green onions. The thin straight noodles are in a soy sauce-based pork bone broth with a rich flavor. The spiciness of the grated red leaf and the refreshing taste of yuzu add a nice touch. The soup, with the addition of lard, stayed hot until the end, making me sweat while eating. The half-fried rice was a bit dry and had an average taste. The main menu items are "Mizore Niku Soba" and "Tsukemen" (up to extra-large size at the same price). There are four value sets for the Mizore Niku Soba, and table seasonings include pepper, red pepper, and premium fish powder. The first floor has counter seats, and the second floor has table seats. The restaurant has a fast turnover, making it convenient to use.

After finishing work on Tuesday at 6:00 PM, I suddenly felt like eating tsukemen, so I decided to stop by this place on my way home. Feeling quite hungry, I ordered the tsukemen with thick slices of chashu for 1200 yen. The staff didn't respond at all, which was a bit strange, haha. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the bowl arrived. The amount of dipping sauce and noodles was actually less than it appeared in the photos. The seasoned egg was large and looked delicious with its gooey center. The noodles seemed to be made with whole wheat, as there were some specks visible, but the aroma wasn't very strong. They paired well with the flavorful dipping sauce. However, I felt like there wasn't enough noodles compared to the sauce, so getting a large portion might be a good idea. The chashu had no porky smell and was tender, although it wasn't particularly outstanding. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you and bon appétit! ^ - ^

I thought I understood what "rich" meant, so I ordered it, but it was even richer and thicker than I expected. It was so thick that I almost felt dizzy for a moment. I wanted to dilute it with hot water, but I resisted and ate it. There is such a thing as too rich. This will be the last time for me.

This restaurant is popular for its tsukemen because no matter if you choose a regular, large, special, or extra-large serving, the price remains the same! The noodles are easy to eat and even the extra-large portion was manageable!
