Let's go shopping at Aeon Mall Tsurumi Midoricho♪♪ Since it's a special occasion, let's have lunch too. It's been hot lately, so I've been craving cold dishes... Let's warm up our bodies with a hot pot and sweat it out!! I chose the Black Wagyu course, looking forward to both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki♡ The hot pot with the spicy kick of sansho pepper goes well with herb pork and lamb. It's delicious to shabu-shabu with finely chopped aromatic vegetables and roll them up. As for sukiyaki, the beef... Black Wagyu is definitely tender and delicious. We finished the hot pot with udon noodles. We also enjoyed a bit of curry, waffles, and ice cream... I'm full and satisfied. It was a great experience... Thank you for the meal(๑>◡<๑)

I ordered the all-you-can-eat vegetable shabu-shabu lunch mix (tax included 1,089 yen) at a shop located in Aeon Mall Tsurumi Midoricho. You can stay until 6:30 pm for lunch time, so you can take your time. I recommend this option if you want to focus more on vegetables than meat. You can have one plate of pork and one plate of beef. There are also udon, Chinese noodles, rice (including curry), and I left feeling full. I think the cost performance is very good.

I wanted to try it once because I saw it on TV. It was an all-you-can-eat pork restaurant. When I saw it on TV, there were various condiments like doubanjiang and avocado, but when I went, there was only green onion, grated daikon radish, garlic, sesame, pepper, and yuzu pepper. Hmm, not what I expected. It was delicious though. Cooking the meat myself surprisingly turned out to be delicious.

Visited in February 2022. After shopping at AEON, I decided to have a meal before heading home since it was already a good time. Many restaurants in Osaka are shortening their business hours due to the pandemic, so I decided to eat inside AEON as a safety measure. After considering various options, I settled on "Shabu-Sai AEON Mall Tsurumi Midoricho Store". Although there are many shabu-shabu chain restaurants, this was my first time trying Shabu-Sai. This restaurant is a shabu-shabu buffet chain mainly located in shopping centers like AEON. They have a self-service corner with vegetables and other items, as well as all-you-can-eat rice, curry, desserts, and drinks. After informing a young female staff member of my course and broth choices, I headed to the self-service corner. I ordered the beef and pork course without sushi, along with dessert and the drink bar. I chose the kombu dashi and umami spicy dashi broths. I picked up vegetables and condiments at the self-service corner and returned to the table where there was a pot, meat (beef, pork), and meatballs. The broth took a while to boil, which was tough for a time-limited buffet. While waiting, I borrowed some rice and curry. The mild curry tasted like homemade curry, which was not bad at all. Once the broth finally boiled, I started cooking the meat. The thinly sliced meat was tender and easy to eat. The umami spicy broth had a hint of garlic, which my partner did not like, but it paired well with the sesame sauce and tasted delicious. The standout was the chicken meatballs with a refreshing shiso flavor, which was extremely tasty. I added more vegetables for a second round and enjoyed some minced meat rice. The minced meat had a ginger flavor and was delicious. After about an hour of eating, it was time for the last order. I finished with coffee jelly for dessert. I have visited several shabu-shabu buffet restaurants in the past two years, and when considering the quality of the food and the service of the staff, it was a bit average. I understand that they were busy with closing tasks near closing time, but they could put in a little more effort. Thank you.

Various vegetables, and also meat ♡ All-you-can-eat shabu-shabu with a choice of two types of soup - Shabu Sai. I chose the lunch option with unlimited pork meat. The soups I chose were soy milk and kombu broth. It's nice that you can enjoy two different types of hot pot so that you don't get tired of the taste. You can help yourself to vegetables, noodles, and rice. There are plenty of vegetable options, and even though it's only pork meat, the all-you-can-eat option is appealing. I was able to get a lot of vegetables.

On December 3, I visited this place where you can get a cheap pork set with a vegetable buffet for lunch. If you choose the drink bar, you can also have all-you-can-eat desserts. I decided to skip the pork and just ate lots of leeks, tofu, and other vegetables. I ordered a dessert that had a discount written on it, but it turns out it wasn't applicable during lunch hours (they should have removed the sign...lol). Despite feeling a bit disappointed at the checkout, overall, I think having a vegetable buffet and being able to eat alone is quite good for this shopping mall. I might visit again if I have the chance, but I probably won't make the effort (I'll probably go to another restaurant). Nabe-Zo, etc.

The beef kalbi is very delicious. The yakiniku sauce is also provided so you can enjoy the taste of yakiniku. It's cheaper and healthier than all-you-can-eat yakiniku, which is great! Kids love the cotton candy, soft serve ice cream, shaved ice, and frozen treats. Adults are happy too. It's recommended to visit for a late lunch as they serve until 4 pm. You can save money!

I was lured in by the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sushi buffet, but when I found out that the sushi buffet was an additional charge, I decided to leave. The buffet had very few dishes other than vegetables. The fried potatoes were hard and oily, the noodles were soggy, and the tartar sauce was watery. The churros tasted only of oil. The desserts didn't look appetizing, and one of them was empty. Adding a drink bar would cost around 2400 yen for two people during lunchtime. I'm glad I didn't get the sushi. I think even a 100 yen conveyor belt sushi or a family restaurant would be tastier. This was the first buffet that made me feel so uncomfortable. I wonder if the headquarters of this major chain restaurant ever do any research or taste testing. Do they really think the potatoes taste good? It's quite puzzling. Despite the price difference, I felt that the buffet at a nearby Canary Row or other cheaper places was of a much higher quality...

I have used this restaurant several times. There are many all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurants nearby, so I don't particularly feel the need to use this restaurant. I only come here when I happen to feel like eating shabu-shabu when I come to AEON. There is nothing special about it. There is pork, beef, vegetables, etc., just a regular all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant. Nothing particularly good or bad. Perhaps because there are many shabu-shabu restaurants around with unique features (very cheap, very delicious, etc.), I always use the same restaurant, so if I use this restaurant again, I will upload photos!

Today is shabu-shabu day! I had all-you-can-eat konbu dashi and sukiyaki, and it was great because it wasn't too crowded on weekdays. It's been 5 months since I last came here! Time flies! Shabu-shabu is convenient and enjoyable for kids. The all-you-can-eat deal includes side dishes, desserts, and a drink bar, which is awesome. If you're picky about meat quality, this place might not be for you. But the price is reasonable. I'm always satisfied with ponzu and goma dare sauces. The dashi changes with the season, and you can choose from two types. I always go for the same combination. Shabu-shabu never fails to impress me. I skip carbs and just have watercress and shabu-shabu. No complaints, I'll definitely be back again. Good job!

Today, I went to the restaurant with my three kids (a third grader, a 3-year-old, and a 2-year-old, all girls). I forgot to take a picture until we almost finished eating, sorry about that. When we went to get our food, it seemed like they were in the middle of changing things up because there were a lot of items missing like tsukune, maroni, and moyashi. There was also a shortage of dishes like kaskasu. I got some rice and sprinkled furikake on top for the kids. Then I went to make coffee and found soboro, which is a favorite of my kids. They ended up eating more soboro rice than meat. I tried to make up for it by getting four plates of beef and five plates of pork, but the meat was so thinly sliced that it was hard to get enough. The plates are big, but the meat is really thin. It cost around 1000 yen for the elementary schooler and 600 yen for the toddlers, mostly for the soboro rice. The soboro was very sweet and rich. Girls are not suited for all-you-can-eat. As for the coffee, you need to make cappuccino twice to fill a cup, and the cafe au lait seemed to be less than other places. It's a hassle to keep going back for more.

Located on the 4th floor of AEON Mall Tsurumi Midoricho, just a short bike ride away from home, this restaurant was a convenient stop for dinner after visiting Kinki Nippon Tourist on the 3rd floor. We arrived around 5 pm and were seated promptly at a small table for two. We chose our broth, opting for "kombu dashi" and "sukiyaki dashi" this time, as we had found the tofu broth we tried on a previous visit to be lacking. We quickly gathered our vegetables with my husband, as the vegetable selection is self-serve and neatly arranged on a sieve near the entrance. The variety included watercress, leeks, Chinese cabbage, and shirataki noodles, among others. The vegetables were fresh, but more reminiscent of pre-cut vegetables you might find at a convenience store rather than freshly picked produce. We were asked if we wanted belly or loin meat (I think that was the choice), and the server brought us three tiers of each. Since we chose the sukiyaki broth, we also received a side of eggs. The eggs were a hit, and we found ourselves calling over the busy server a few times for more. While rice was available in a large rice cooker alongside the vegetables for unlimited servings, we opted to skip it today in favor of enjoying plenty of meat. The quality may lean towards quantity over quality, but we found the food quite tasty. For me, it was satisfyingly delicious! I will definitely be returning!

I love all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurants, so whenever I find one, I immediately go in. I discovered one at AEON Mall on my way back from shopping, so I went in right away. The system is the usual all-you-can-eat order buffet with a drink bar, which is quite convenient! The price is 1899 yen, which is very cheap, so I can't complain too much, but the quality of the meat was quite poor. The recommended shiso and ginger broth (although it went well with the chicken dumplings) did not go well with the meat at all. I couldn't even finish the first plate that came out and ended up leaving the restaurant. I think the staff, system, and price are well done, but the most important part, the meat, seems to have its limits.

On April 14, 2013, I went to Shabu-Sai for a shabu-shabu lunch. Theme: Gourmet Cosmos - Shabu-Shabu for Lunch I wanted to have a leisurely hot pot for lunch, so I went to Shabu-Sai at Aeon Mall Tsurumi Midoricho. During weekdays, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu for 1468 yen. It's great that you can serve yourself with ingredients other than meat. You can eat as much as you want of items like chicken meatballs, tofu, udon, Chinese noodles, burdock, macaroni, leeks, carrots, cabbage, radish, watercress, shimeji mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, white leeks, chingensai, and more. There are also toppings like grated daikon radish and chopped green onions, as well as rice with seasoned ground meat and pickles. You can choose from two types of broth: kombu dashi and sukiyaki. The meat is thinly sliced frozen meat, typical for all-you-can-eat options. When it was brought to the table, all the meat on the tray was stuck together, but it's enough for a satisfying lunch. The staff regularly checks if you need more meat or additional broth. The time limit is 70 minutes, but you can eat at a leisurely pace. There is also a drink bar for 103 yen and soft-serve ice cream to finish off your meal. Location: 4th floor, Aeon Mall Tsurumi Midoricho Hours: Drink/Café 10:00-11:00, Lunch 11:00-17:00, Dinner 17:00-23:00 (Last entry 21:30/Last order 22:00) Phone: 06-6915-5986

This is my second visit to "Shabu-sai" located in Aeon Mall Tsurumi. Here, you can enjoy shabu-shabu by choosing from two types of broth. There are two types of meat available, beef and pork. When you order the meat, the staff brings it to you right away, while vegetables, soft drinks, and soft-serve ice cream are self-service. Last time, I tried the kombu broth and sukiyaki broth, both of which were delicious, but the sukiyaki broth was a bit heavy (heartburn) so this time I chose the yuzu collagen (limited time) and the umami-spicy soup. The yuzu collagen paired well with mushrooms and pork. The umami-spicy soup is recommended with pork, beef, onions, leeks, and meatballs. The soft-serve ice cream after the meal was also delicious. It's best to go early as there is a waiting list after 6 pm on weekends. I visited at 5:30 pm on Saturday and was seated at a table for four, even though there were only two of us, so we could enjoy our meal leisurely.

It's a shabu-shabu restaurant called "Shabu Sai" in Aeon Mall, and the lunch menu is a bit extravagant. I chose "soy milk" and "curry" as the broth. The price is a bit high, but the quality of the meat is okay. It's all-you-can-eat, so it's a good deal for 1,573 yen for beef and pork shabu-shabu. The time limit is 70 minutes from entering, and children under 2 years old are free. Kids under elementary school age get a drink bar included. I'm already full from all the refills, so thank you for the meal.

I revisited the restaurant (March 2013) on a Sunday evening, almost dinner time. The restaurant area at the Aeon mall was under renovation, so there were few available options and we had to wait for about 20 minutes. Despite the number of people written on the waiting list, we were seated relatively quickly. This time, I chose sukiyaki and tofu milk-based shabu-shabu. I decided to skip the extra meat and instead had two rounds of vegetables, so I felt satisfied. However, I ended up eating a lot of noodles and rice, so I might gain weight again. I revisited the restaurant (November 2012) on a Sunday afternoon around 2 pm and got seated without waiting. This time, I had sukiyaki and a limited-time ginger-based shabu-shabu. I realized that I could eat even less meat compared to before, with the number of meat refills decreasing. I managed without any refills this time and focused on eating more vegetables. It seems like it's getting harder to break even. I also had beer this time, so I might not be winning this battle. You have to come with kids or young people to keep up. I went with my wife on a holiday afternoon. It was around 2 pm, and there were already two groups waiting. We ordered the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki set (1,573 yen) and a draft beer (630 yen). The broth options were collagen and tofu milk. I didn't know they started with sukiyaki, so I thought it was just shabu-shabu. We were served two plates of beef and pork each at the beginning, and then we could order more as needed. Other ingredients were self-service, including various vegetables, noodles, chicken dumplings, tofu, rice, pickles, meat soboro, and furikake. We also got two dipping sauces and toppings. The divided pot made it a bit challenging to manage the broth, but overall, considering the price and variety, it was a good deal. The service was good too. The only downside was the expensive draft beer at 630 yen. Better stick to non-alcoholic drinks!

Today's topic is gourmet! Yesterday was my father's 71st birthday, so we celebrated at a restaurant called Shabu Sai. This time, we chose the menu of all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. The menu at Shabu Sai allows you to enjoy both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, with pots prepared for each at the table. We picked out vegetables like burdock, onion, chives, carrots, enoki mushrooms, udon noodles, seaweed, and komatsuna to cook in the pots. We toasted with beer to celebrate my father's birthday, and then started cooking the hot pot dishes. The sukiyaki with ramen noodles was especially delicious, and the sesame sauce for the shabu-shabu was amazing. We had a great time cooking and eating together, even if we mixed up some of the ingredients. For dessert, we enjoyed soft-serve ice cream, which was also all-you-can-eat. The price for the shabu-shabu and sukiyaki all-you-can-eat menu was very reasonable at ¥1573 per person for a 70-minute session. It's a great deal for a warm hot pot meal during the cold winter months. We were all very satisfied with our meal at Shabu Sai, and it was a perfect way to celebrate my father's birthday.

All-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurant located inside Ion Mall Tsurumi Rifa. Both men and women can enjoy all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu for lunch for only 1,677 yen per person. Sukiyaki all-you-can-eat is also available for the same price. The meat slices are very thin, almost see-through, with a choice of beef or pork, and additional meat can be brought to your table quickly upon request. There is a wide variety of vegetables available at the buffet corner, such as cabbage, napa cabbage, komatsuna, enoki mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, maroni, white leeks, garlic chives, tofu, burdock root, and more. The drink bar offers unlimited drinks including cola, oolong tea, melon soda, and calpis soda. You can choose between two types of hot pots: "soymilk/kombu broth" or "spicy/kombu broth." For dessert, there is soft-serve ice cream all-you-can-eat, where you can serve yourself using a real soft-serve machine. This restaurant does not have a closing time between lunch and dinner, so you can enjoy lunch until 5 pm. This means that even if you enter at 4:59 pm, you can still enjoy the lunchtime price. With only about a 500 yen difference between lunch and dinner, it is recommended to enjoy a slightly late lunch or an early dinner. Between 3 pm and 5 pm, there are usually few customers, so you can eat as much as you want without worrying about the surroundings.
