I had some points saved up on a gourmet website, so I decided to have some solo yakiniku during my trip. I recommend the "Abara" restaurant. Despite being reasonably priced, the meat has a nice chewiness and delicious fat content. The "Special Hormone" is rich in fat, but not overwhelming and tender and tasty. The "Pure Harami" is thickly cut and satisfying to eat. It has less fat and is great for those who prefer lean meat. Both the soy sauce and miso dipping sauces were delicious, and I found myself enjoying it with rice.

Chilling beer and GOTOEAT campaign at Yakiniku Goen, Sennichimae store. Enjoying cold Super Dry with delicious meat. The course with all-you-can-drink for 3,000 yen is a great deal. Surprisingly tasty side dishes like Namul, Kimchi, salad, and grilled vegetables. Different types of meat like salt & lemon, and sauce-marinated red meat. Pork and chicken were also surprisingly delicious. Enjoyed plenty of beer and skipped the rice. Finished with a satisfying dessert of vanilla ice cream. Note: Goen offers two types of sauces, soy sauce-based and miso-based, for different meat combinations.

I was late and everywhere was full, but luckily there was an opening. I enjoyed a set meal with cold noodles, rice, and Sakura Yukhoe, along with some drinks. It's great to have a fun time at a yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy good food. The meat was delicious. I can leave the restaurant in a good mood after having Chupa Chups. On the night of 2018/12/26, I revisited the restaurant with 5 drinking buddies for a year-end party. When I arrived at the restaurant, everyone was already there, and we ordered draft beer. We didn't even have time to wipe our hands with the hot towels before we made a toast (^u^). We ordered two sets of the popular "Family Favorite Mix", which was meant for 4-5 people. It included loin, misuji (top blade), kalbi (short rib), harami (skirt steak), Yamagata pork belly, chicken thigh, seseri (chicken neck), and sausage. I'm usually the type who just eats, so everyone else was busy cooking (laughs). We started with the kalbi. Hmm, it was so fatty and delicious. The pork belly was a bit too fatty for my liking (^^;). I think the seseri was the most delicious. We also ordered the garlic foil grill separately, which was so tasty and fluffy (*^.^*). It was a fun night of chatting with friends and enjoying ice-cold draft beer. It was a delightful evening. Thank you for the meal☆

I stopped by because I was craving yakiniku and smelled a good aroma nearby. I usually pair yakiniku with beer, but today I went for rice and yakiniku to eat heartily. The drinks are quite cheap here, and I am satisfied today after eating to my heart's content.

Passion Hormone and Hormone Hormone are in the same group, but I visited Passion Hormone for the first time to see what the difference was. It seems like this place is more geared towards groups, with larger portions for sharing. They also offer individual servings at the counter, although I was the only one dining alone (laughs). The ribs were a highlight, priced at 380 yen and quite substantial. The lean red meat had a good texture and tasted delicious. The mixed hormone platter seemed quite large, maybe meant for two people. With the ribs and this dish, I was satisfied with the portion size. The medium-sized rice was also surprisingly large. The service was good, with friendly staff who engaged in conversation. Despite being a chain restaurant, I felt it was not to be underestimated.

Before the typhoon hit, on a sunny day, I visited Nara Asuka and then headed to Osaka using Kintetsu. After checking into a budget hotel in Uehommachi (Twin room for 4950 yen per night including tax), I went to Yakiniku Goen in Sennichimae and had the following dishes: - Beef tongue with green onion salt: 950 yen x 1 - Harami (skirt steak): 790 yen x 2 - Kalbi (short rib): 590 yen x 2 - Chinese cabbage kimchi: 320 yen x 1 - Chorogi salad: 490 yen x 1 - Rice (medium): 270 yen x 1 - Draft beer: 290 yen x 3 The prices are relatively cheap for beef, but starting from the tongue to harami and kalbi, the smell of the meat was a bit off-putting. I'm not sure if it's because they use frozen meat instead of chilled or due to their storage methods. Both my sensitive sense of smell and my partner agreed on this. However, the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. A young woman even went outside to kindly explain the location of Grand Kagetsu. Also, the draft beer was a great deal at 290 yen per glass. Overall, the total bill for two people was around 6000 yen including tax. If only the quality of the meat was better, it would have been a perfect experience.

Assorted All-Star for 2-3 people, with mino, tantare, and techan, along with 2 glasses of draft beer. Used a 10% discount coupon, so it cost around 3600 yen. Adding garlic and kochijang makes the hormone delicious. The Goeun draft beer at 190 yen each is great! Due to pressure from various sources, I have minimized the logs since June 2019, and also minimized the images since January 2020.

I wanted to eat meat and was exploring the back streets around Namba, but every restaurant was fully booked on Friday night. The only place I could get into was "Yakiniku Goen." The cost performance was very good.

The food was mediocre to begin with, but it has gotten worse due to COVID-19.

I enjoyed it very much.

It is a chain store that exudes a passionate vibe, and the interior of the store felt the same. The prices here felt cheaper, but would you say they were worth it? If it's nearby, I would like to visit again.

I sometimes use this place. I go for the spare ribs. The alcohol is cheap, so I drink beer, eat ribs, and leave quickly. I feel like it might be a bother to the restaurant, but it's a good cost performance!

I was looking for a yakiniku restaurant to use up my Go To points, and since it was my first time, I started with the "affordable course". Both the men and women working there had great customer service, which left a good impression on me.

On the night of 18.09.03, after leaving Spa World with my friends, we went out for dinner♪ We were in the mood for yakiniku since the day before, so we decided to go to "Goen" for the first time in a while (*^.^*) We started with draft beer and ordered salted beef tongue and kokoro, followed by garlic foil grilled dish and puchi puchi changja. The round shape of the beef tongue is kind of mysterious and interesting (laughs). I just realized that kokoro is made of pork. My friend always orders it because she likes it so much. The garlic foil grilled dish is delicious with its fluffy texture, right? (≧▽≦) Puchi puchi changja, I wonder if it contains fish eggs? The popping texture is enjoyable☆ We switched to highball and ordered harami and Goen's specialty spare ribs. Harami is tender and easy to eat, isn't it? (^-^) The spare ribs are so delicious with a lot of fat - truly lives up to its name of being a specialty☆ For the hormone dishes, we got my girlfriend's favorite black-haired Wagyu special hormone and my favorite akasen☆ The black-haired Wagyu special hormone was placed on the grill before I could take a picture of it (laughs). That fat is really delicious, right? It gives you energy~ (≧▽≦) For dessert, she said she wanted to eat ice cream, so we had vanilla ice cream. It's refreshing and nice in the mouth☆ Thank you for the meal☆

On the night of 18.02.22, I revisited a restaurant that I was suddenly invited to by a friend a few days ago. I realized that I hadn't been eating much meat lately, so I decided to go to this place where the beer is reasonably priced. I sat down and started with a refreshing glass of draft beer, along with some salted dishes. The beef tongue with salt is a must-try here. I also ordered black pork belly and salted garlic. The garlic foil grill was delicious too. Personally, I prefer salt over sauce. As we continued to enjoy our beers, we ordered napa cabbage kimchi, two servings of harami, and the famous abura. The harami here is really tender and tasty. The abura is also delicious with its tender meat. Lastly, we ordered our favorite domestic maruchou and akasen. Hormones are the best when it comes to meat. The fatty maruchou and the texture of the akasen were perfect. It was a delicious meal.

On New Year's Eve, I decided to end the year with a meal at Yakiniku Goen Sennichimae, where I ordered the "Abara and Harami Set Meal" along with two glasses of beer. The quality of the meat was decent, but the prices have noticeably gone up, making the cost performance a bit questionable. Overall, dining out prices have been increasing, and it's becoming harder to find good deals. Despite being a long-time customer of Yakiniku Goen, I may need to reconsider my options due to the rising prices. Thank you for the meal.

On the night of 17.11.01, our two-day trip is coming to an end ☆ My friend was in the mood for yakiniku, so we decided to visit "Goen" after a long time (^-^) She plans to come here again the next day (lol). We ordered draft beer to start. We also ordered beef tongue, black pork toro, grilled red shrimp with salt, and garlic foil grill. I thought the meat was tastier this time compared to before. However, it seemed like some of the meats we used to eat were no longer available (^^;) The grilled red shrimp with salt wasn't that great as the meat was not very tender and there was not much of it. We also added the specialty dishes: beef ribs, domestic maruchou, and tender harami. The maruchou had plenty of fat and was delicious (*^.^*) The beef ribs were a bit dry. The harami was tender and delicious. As we were getting full, we ordered my favorite akasen and her favorite tender harami as a final dish. I love the crunchy texture of akasen ~ (≧▽≦) It was a satisfying dinner with four glasses of draft beer each. Thank you for the feast ☆
