We visited "Gyukaku" at Canal City with my wife, sister, and niece. The restaurant is located on the second floor, and although the stairs were a bit dirty, the restaurant itself is of medium size and not very clean. The Gyukaku here uses a roaster instead of charcoal, similar to Meino Across. We opted for the 5000 yen all-you-can-eat course with all-you-can-drink. It was just a normal Gyukaku experience. However, it was packed by 6 pm, with a waiting list, showing how popular it is in Fukuoka. The crowd here is definitely lively.

I visited the restaurant with an all-you-can-eat plan by 6:00 PM! The thinness of the meat was unavoidable due to the price, but I wonder if that was the reason why the grill was getting burnt so easily... It seemed like about half of it was burnt, haha. Even when I cooked it on low heat, it was still happening. But I was happy that there was a wide variety of menu items like harami and horumon at the restaurant!

My friend enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and visited again. They like the thick-cut tongue and hormone dishes. The portion size is generous, so it's satisfying for those who like to eat a lot. I personally liked the slightly dim atmosphere. The last dessert, the Gyu-Kaku ice cream, was delicious with green tea flavor. It was topped with black honey and roasted soybean flour. They also accept various electronic payments.

It's been about 10 years since I last visited Gyu-Kaku, and I was pleased to see that the staff were still as energetic and friendly as ever. I visited the Canal City Hakata branch. I remember there used to be a gyoza restaurant here. The atmosphere was dimly lit with indirect lighting. I ordered the Gyu-Kaku Premium Course from the menu, which had numbers assigned to each item for easy ordering through a touch panel system. The beef tongue was thick and delicious. The salad was a bit salty, but the sauce was really tasty. I liked that I could order tea in a pitcher. They also accept electronic payments. There are plenty of parking spaces within a 3-minute walk.

All-you-can-eat!! Visited for a meal with employees! It's a relief because they are all big eaters!! There are different ranks in the all-you-can-eat menu, but with a good course, you can eat things like beef tongue and thick slices of meat. It's recommended when you want to eat a large amount! Thank you for the meal!

The 70-item all-you-can-eat course with all-you-can-drink was 4500 yen! It was packed on Saturday night, but the service was great even though the meat was very thin. ✨

I ordered the 3480 yen course at Gyu-Kaku. Every dish was delicious, the service was fast and the staff was polite. I especially enjoyed the Moon-Viewing Kalbi and King Harami, they were so tasty that I ended up eating too much. The Gyu-Kaku ice cream dessert was also very delicious.

The staff was working hard and I felt like cheering them on!

Next to the Canal Business Center Building, there is a yakiniku chain restaurant called "Gyukaku". You can go up the stairs next to Lawson to the second floor where it is located. It seems that you can have lunch for under ¥1,000. For example, the Kalbi & Harami lunch set is ¥980, which includes 70g of Kalbi and 60g of Harami, along with mini chijimi, kimchi, and soup, with free extra rice. I love Gyukaku's kimchi so much that I buy it at the supermarket. I enjoyed filling my belly with the thick cuts of juicy Kalbi. The newly opened restaurant has a clean interior and offers reasonably priced yakiniku lunches. - It's been a while since I went to Gyu-Kaku. We had the All-You-Can-Eat Easy Course (2980 yen) x 2 with All-You-Can-Drink Soft Drinks (480 yen) x 2. It cost us 7000 yen for two people. - The beef kalbi was surprisingly thin, but the pork kalbi was thick and satisfying when eaten with rice. - The All-You-Can-Eat courses offered were: Easy Course with 80+ items for 2980 yen, Gyu-Kaku Course with 100+ items for 3480 yen, and Enjoy Course with 120+ items for 4380 yen. - The All-You-Can-Drink options were: Standard (with beer) with 50+ items for 1480 yen, Light with 50+ items for 1000 yen, and Soft Drinks for 480 yen. - We had a hard time deciding, but ended up choosing the Easy Course with Soft Drinks. We were not particular about the quality of the meat, so we just wanted something that would fill us up and go well with rice. - Overall, we were satisfied with the meal for 3500 yen, including drinks, and enjoyed 90 minutes. Thank you for the meal. - The service was also very impressive. When we asked for a blanket due to the cold air conditioning, they even offered to bring us warm tea. The staff was attentive and accommodating. - They now have iPad ordering and display the time limit (70 min) until last order, so we could order and eat at our own pace without worrying about sudden reminders of last order. However, the lack of flexibility with even a 1-minute overage is a bit disappointing.
