This place is terrible. But there are some good points. This is about the Manseikaku Group. The lunch half buffet alone costs 1,500 yen, and the hot spring costs 1,100 yen, totaling 2,600 yen. However, if you get the set, it's 400 yen cheaper. For 2,200 yen, you can enjoy the hot spring and half buffet in a hot spring town, which is not bad. Let's go and check it out. But to be honest, it's all a sham. I will focus on the food report on Tabelog. The lunch half buffet for 1,500 yen is decent for the price. First, the main dish, a hamburger, is served. You can choose from 3 types of hamburgers. The hamburger is brought on a hot plate, but it feels quite cheap. Is this okay, Manseikaku? When you taste it, it's good but not great. The garlic demi-glace sauce is tasty, but the hamburger itself feels light and homely (almost like a frozen meal). After quickly eating the hamburger, I head to the buffet corner. ★Buffet Corner♪ ◎Salad CornerSalad, onion salad, macaroni salad. The three musketeers. There are also 3 types of dressings. ◎Rice CornerBlack curry, keema curry, and even hot spring eggs. Pickles and pickled vegetables are quite good here. And the black curry is delicious! It's a curry with plenty of beef that can be enjoyed on its own! ◎Fried Foods and OthersCheap-looking, is the tuna cutlet frozen? The croquettes are also mediocre. Instead of filling up on fried foods, you should try the delicious curry! ◎Sweets, Fruits CornerIt feels like it was added as an afterthought, but the quality of the fruit is decent. ◎Drink CornerA typical buffet setup. It says "Chargeable 350 yen" but you can drink for free. ◎Most importantly, the rice... The buffet-style rice. It's neither delicious nor bad, just average. The service (hospitality) was quite terrible. The front staff seemed okay (3.5↑), but once inside, it was awful, too awful. The boss giving orders to subordinates in a condescending manner, taking a break? The cooks and the boss chatting at the entrance (do that in the back). It was so bad that I left the venue without a word. This was disappointing. It was a Saturday close to the end of the year. There were 3 groups of 6 people using the half buffet, and the rest were using the hot spring. Oh, and about the hot spring, it's not related to Tabelog, but I'll mention it. Bathing in a tasteless and odorless acidic sulfur spring, what is that? A tasteless acidic sulfur spring. It's quite different from places like Sagiri-yu or Hanaya where the smell and taste are strong! I want to go back to Sagiri-yu or Hanaya after experiencing this featureless hot spring. It was so bad, almost unbelievably bad. Adding water is understandable, but hey, if you're going to dilute the unique qualities of the local hot spring, that's not good. An odorless and tasteless hot spring is not what you expect from a "hot spring".
