I had work in Umeda and had to arrange dinner, so I went to the Shabuzen Umeda branch that I also use in Tokyo! The all-you-can-eat option is great for the organizer because you don't have to worry about the other party's pace, making it really easy and reliable. The sesame sauce for the shabu-shabu is still delicious. You can eat plenty of vegetables and it's healthy. We were able to relax in a private room. Thank you for the meal!

The other day, I passed by a new restaurant that I hadn't seen before. Avanza B1, Ganko, had reopened for business. They offer private seating, almost like semi-private booths. Even though I was dining alone, I was guided to a private room at the back. I was worried about getting too hot while having hot pot, but the restaurant was incredibly cool inside. They served me hot roasted green tea and a towel, which made me feel relieved. I ordered the Black Wagyu Sukiyaki set meal, which came with small side dishes, 60g of beef, a selection of domestic vegetables, rice (with seconds available), miso soup, pickles, and udon. The set arrived with a tabletop stove and an iron pot all set up, so all I had to do was wait. The beef was tender and delicious, although I felt like there could have been a bit more (you can add more for an additional fee). The vegetables were all domestic, including cabbage, leeks, watercress, onions, enoki mushrooms, tofu, konyaku, and wheat gluten. The rice was shiny and I ended up having seconds. The sauce was just right, not too sweet or heavy. The presence of udon also added to my satisfaction. As I left from my seat at the back, I noticed that almost everyone in the semi-private booths was also enjoying the Black Wagyu Sukiyaki set meal. The combination of a relaxed private setting in this location, along with the allure of Black Wagyu Sukiyaki for 1200 yen, was quite appealing. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had some business in Kitashinchi, so I felt like having sukiyaki or shabu-shabu nearby. I searched and found a place offering lunch, so I ordered the black wagyu sukiyaki set with an additional 70 grams of meat for 700 yen. The appearance and taste were both delicious! The lunch was great value for money.

I have been secretly interested in this place for a while and saved it on Tabelog because they have private rooms and semi-private rooms which are spacious. Plus, the sukiyaki made with black wagyu beef is only 1,200 yen! Isn't that cheap? And the fact that it's a single serving hot pot is great. The Black Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Set for 1,200 yen includes a small side dish, 4 slices of beef, a mix of domestic vegetables, rice, miso soup, pickles, and udon - all for this price. The meat is tender and sweet, and the seasoning is just right. The vegetables like onions, Chinese cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and chrysanthemum greens are well-balanced. I was happy to see not just tofu but also wheat gluten in the dish. Although the amount of meat is a bit small, with the udon and rice, you'll be completely satisfied. You can also order additional meat if needed. The location is convenient, and considering the price, I wasn't expecting much, but the meat was delicious. The cost performance is really good, so I highly recommend trying it out. Be sure to check it out!

The atmosphere of the restaurant, the service from the staff, and the food were all excellent. The room was also like a semi-private space, which made for a relaxing lunch. I had the limited edition 10-color pork shabu salad lunch this time, but next time I want to try the shabu-shabu, so I would like to come back to try other menu items.

I came to the Umeda and Kita-Shinchi area and got hooked on the shabu-shabu lunch. I remember the days when I used to go for shabu-shabu in Roppongi, Tokyo for dinner. Osaka has a new restaurant in Kita-Shinchi that opened last year, so I decided to check it out. They had a limited-time offer of a domestic beef sukiyaki set for 1,000 yen (tax included), but this time I went for the classic "Domestic Pork Shabu-Shabu Set (with side dish, 80g of pork, domestic vegetable assortment, rice, miso soup, pickles)." This shabu-shabu is enjoyed with broth. It arrived 6-7 minutes after ordering. The rice was glossy and had a beautiful stickiness with a hint of sweetness, which got me excited. I would have been happy if it came with udon instead of red miso soup. The meat had a moderate thickness, and it was nice to see a good balance of lean and marbled parts. Both were tender, and the gentle broth allowed me to enjoy the umami of the lean meat and the sweetness of the fat. It was satisfying overall with a good portion size. The pickles were unexpectedly delicious, and I could have used more shredded mountain pepper (laughs). I finished the second bowl of rice in no time. I would like to try their sukiyaki next time! It's perfect for a leisurely lunch, highly recommended!

I recently went to Shabu Zen, located in the basement of Dojima Avanza. I think the lunch menu is quite reasonable. Today, since it's a bit cold, I had the Sukiyaki set meal with Wagyu beef for 1,200 yen including tax. It also comes with udon noodles, so you will be full in terms of quantity. The meat was tender and very delicious.

Tokyo Shabuzen's Osaka branch is located in Kitashinchi. I think it offers good value for the price. I tried the sukiyaki and the customer service was excellent. It would be convenient for business entertainment as well. The course meal for 5 people was around 40,000 yen. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Dotonbori Avanza B1F in Kitashinchi, "Shabuzen". I arrived at 11:35 am to find a clean and spacious restaurant with almost private seating areas. I was seated at a 4-person table in the back. I decided on the Sukiyaki hot pot and asked if I could add more meat, to which they said it was possible for Shabu-Shabu. I requested sesame sauce as well. I ordered the Domestic Pork Shabu Set for 1100 yen and added extra meat for 500 yen. The atmosphere was nice, and I was told to let them know when I wanted the extra meat. I enjoyed the meal at my own pace, with 3 slices of pork loin and 3 slices of pork belly. The pork belly was especially delicious with the sesame sauce. When I asked for more meat, another staff member informed me that I could add just the pork belly for 500 yen. The rice was freshly cooked and served with a generous portion, along with pickled sansho pepper. By the time I finished, the restaurant was getting busier with many women enjoying Sukiyaki. Overall, the service was polite and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and popular among female customers. If you're interested, I recommend saving this review for future reference.

The service was very polite. The shabu-shabu was prepared with a delicious broth. They also offered sesame sauce, but the broth was so good that we hardly used it. I really want to know what kind of broth they use. I definitely want to go back to this restaurant.

Shabuzen, the main store in Roppongi with 40 years of history, opened a new branch in Doshima Avanza in Kitashinchi in December 22 years ago. I visited for lunch. The pork shabu set meal is 1,100 yen, and I added 100g of pork shoulder loin for 990 yen. I also ordered extra sesame sauce and added a lot of chili oil, which I personally like. It might be cost-effective to go for the all-you-can-eat option if you want to eat more beef. It's a good place for when you want to eat and drink heartily. They have private and semi-private rooms, so it seems suitable for small gatherings or parties.

I tried the tantan udon set. The udon noodles in sesame sauce with meat miso were served soft, with a creamy and mild flavor, but they also provided chili oil on the side. The pickles on a small plate included shredded mountain pepper, which I enjoyed sprinkling on my rice. The restaurant has semi-private booths, providing a comfortable dining experience. I missed the white dumpling cream zenzai and cream anmitsu on the menu, priced at 250 yen each.

The inside of the restaurant is very clean and calm. I believe all the seating is semi-private. I went for a solo lunch and the staff were so polite and attentive, it made me feel almost embarrassed. I recently found out I have delayed allergies to certain ingredients, so I had to ask for some things to be removed from my meal. They handled it very professionally. Everyone has different allergies, so it's up to each individual to decide, but some places are hard to talk to about it, so I really appreciated the staff's consideration. The amount of sukiyaki in the lunch set isn't huge, but the elegant atmosphere and delicious meat made me very satisfied. I'd like to bring my family next time.

I went to the newly reopened restaurant in Umeda, Osaka for the first time in 12 years, and in Shinsaibashi for the first time in 10 years. I tried the "Takasago" dish, and the quality of the meat and sauce was maintained from before. The selection of products and alcoholic beverages has improved compared to before, so I am satisfied. I will visit again in January, so I will take more photos then.

However, during lunchtime, you can enjoy shabu-shabu for 1,100 yen. With the cold weather continuing, I felt like having a warm hot pot, so I decided to stop by for lunch. The lunch price is around 1,000 yen, making it easy for one person to visit. I was seated in a private room, and a hot pot for 2-3 people was set up, which made me hesitate to order it for myself. However, when I placed my order, the food was quickly brought out, and I started enjoying the shabu-shabu. The lunch set I ordered was the Domestic Pork Shabu-Shabu Set (1,100 yen), which included 80g of pork belly, assorted domestic vegetables, rice, miso soup, and pickles. I was excited to have shabu-shabu after a long time, and when I put the ingredients in the pot, the pork belly had a nice thickness and provided a satisfying bite. As I cooked the pork in the hot pot, it changed to a beautiful pink color, which made me imagine that it was raised in a proper environment. In Kansai, shabu-shabu is often served with a tangy ponzu sauce, but here, dipping the meat in the broth was a new and innovative way to enjoy it. The pork was delicious, with a strong umami flavor and no overwhelming fattiness. I didn't have high expectations for a lunch set, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet and tasty shabu-shabu I had for lunch. The chopped green onions paired well with the broth, and I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied with the fresh vegetables, fluffy rice, and delicious shabu-shabu I had for only 1,100 yen. It was great to have all-you-can-eat options for the employees. The sukiyaki was delicious, with the flavors of the vegetables and meat blending together perfectly.
