Every summer (2020 is from July 10th to September 20th), a shop appears as a temporary store in the underground shopping mall "Diamor Osaka" in front of Osaka Station. This year marks the 5th year, but it was always crowded with long lines and difficult to approach, but this year it was relatively empty, so I lined up and made a purchase. First, you choose between a tumbler or a regular plastic cup. There are several types of tumblers, so collectors will likely make a purchase, and it seems that many people initially purchase as a commemoration. Next is the purchase of tea, which has a relatively high level of customization. 1. Choose the base tea. There are four types: Earl Grey, Rooibos & White Peach, Green Tea, and Standard. Since it was my first time, I chose the Standard. 2. Choose one base fruit. I chose Orange from Pineapple, Orange, Strawberry, and Lime. 3. Choose two topping fruits. Since they are toppings, they are in smaller amounts than the base. This time, I chose Kiwi and Mango from Raspberry, Lemon, Kiwi, Mango, and Blueberry. Since all the fruits are fresh, the taste of the ingredients has an impact. 4. As a special accent, I chose Aloe from Aloe, Ogiyochi, Nata de Coco, and Mint. 5. Finally, add one type of sweetness from Sugarcane, Elderflower, Passion Fruit, Lemon, and Guava syrups. I chose Passion Fruit. This combination of ingredients with plenty of fruits and ice in a tumbler looks summery, cool, and delicious. The taste is a delicious fruit tea with a good balance of sweetness from the fruits and syrup and a strong aroma of black tea. It's enjoyable to drink the tea and then enjoy the fresh fruits at the end. By the way, if you finish it on the spot, Green Tea and Earl Grey Tea bases are refillable, which is a generous service. However, I may not be able to drink so much tea in one go... This is definitely a place I would want to visit every year.

During the summer, Lipton's pop-up shop appears every year for a limited time. This year, they are currently at Diamor Osaka. I've always been curious about Lipton Fruit Iced Tea because I love tea, but I've always avoided it because of the long lines. One day, I saw that the line was short! I thought, "This is my chance!" and decided to line up. The menu includes drinks and parfaits with ice. You can get a tumbler included for 1000 yen! First, you choose four tumblers - I chose the ones exclusive to Osaka. Next, choose the base tea - I went with the standard blend. For the base fruit, I chose orange for a refreshing taste. For the topping, I wanted mango but it was sold out, so I went with vitamin-rich kiwi. For the special accent, I chose mint for a refreshing look. Finally, I chose sugarcane syrup for a gentle sweetness. The customized iced tea was ready! Shake it well and enjoy. It was incredibly refreshing! The mint, orange, kiwi, and sugarcane flavors all matched perfectly. You can even get a refill before the ice melts, so tea lovers should definitely try it out. I finally got to visit the Lipton tea shop where you can choose your favorite fruit to add to your tea. There was always a long line, but I finally made it. It was so crowded that they were using a ticket system. I got a ticket for the 4:00 PM slot and passed the time until then. The combination of fruits I chose may not have been the best, as the taste was just okay. The bottle is cute and reusable, so that's a plus. However, I felt it was a bit pricey.
