I was intrigued by the buffet where the chef cuts roast beef right in front of you for 1,260 yen, so I decided to go check it out. It's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Tenjin, so the surroundings are quiet. As soon as you enter the hotel entrance and walk towards the back of the lobby, you'll find the reception. The staff, being from a hotel, were very polite, and the venue was spacious with comfortable seating. The variety of dishes was abundant, ranging from fried foods like fried chicken, Chinese dishes like shumai, traditional Japanese dishes like simmered dishes, chestnut rice, salad bar, desserts including cakes, fruits, and even ice cream. And on top of all that, there's the highlight of the roast beef that the chef cuts in front of you. All of this for 1,260 yen! The roast beef, cut thickly, was incredibly tender and juicy, almost like steak. It was so delicious that I ended up having about four plates. The value of this alone is significant. When there are fewer people, the chef may place the cut pieces on a plate and step back, but as soon as they run out, he comes out to cut more. There are two types of sauces available, but I personally prefer the Japanese-style sauce. When paying, if you present your Ponta card, you'll receive 30 points, so it's a good idea for Ponta cardholders to remember to bring it along.
