After having sushi dinner at "Ware Airen," I realized that I still had room in my stomach. It was too early to go back to the hotel and sleep. So, I decided to go for a final meal. I was in the mood for udon or onigiri, but due to lack of research or store holidays, I couldn't find one immediately. I switched to ramen. And there it was, I had been wanting to go to this place, "Buta Soba Tsukuya," for a while and it had become my homework. There are also stores in Tokyo, but I wanted to eat at the main store. So, I walked to the center of Nakasu. When I arrived at the restaurant, I saw the kitchen in the front and the seating area in the back, so I proceeded to the back. The restaurant was about 60% full. There were 10 counter seats, four four-person tables, and one two-person table. I sat at the counter and ordered the signature pork ramen. Then, I noticed the shumai on the left side of the menu. So, I also ordered shumai (2 pieces). I felt like having a drink, so I ordered a lemon sour. Looking at the menu, it's amazing that they offer not only extra noodles but also extra soup. Can you have an endless loop of noodles?! Well, I'm not a big eater, so it's impossible for me... There were about two staff members on the floor and four in the kitchen. I couldn't really hear the background music well... I waited while drinking the lemon sour. I wish it had a bit more carbonation... The shumai (2 pieces) arrived first. It was served in a steamer, which was nice. They were quite large. I dipped them in sauce and mustard. The meat was juicy with plenty of chunks. It was delicious! Next, the pork ramen arrived. Look at the clarity of the pork bone soup. It's not a creamy broth but a clear one, which is rare nowadays. There were three slices of pork belly chashu in the middle. The presentation is reminiscent of a certain extremely difficult-to-visit shop in Fukuoka. I've never been there, though... On a separate plate, green onions and pickled ginger were served. There's no pork bone smell, but there's umami. The soup is guilt-free. Huh?! The noodles are thin straight Hakata-style noodles, cooked slightly firm. It's good that they're not too firm. With this soup, I feel like trying them slightly softer... The chashu looks like it has a high ratio of fat at first glance, but the quantity is good, and you can eat it without feeling overwhelmed. The bill was settled at the register upon leaving. It was 1,900 yen in total, paid in cash. Thank you for the meal. It's great that you can eat at this time as if it were normal. But they're not open for lunch, huh. Well, now that I'm satisfied, I guess I'll go back to the hotel and sleep...
