I usually don't eat dinner at hotels, but today I had a special reason to do so. I had a buffet meal, but I ate lightly because I want to go for a walk outside later. I had takoyaki, fried chicken, and hamburger. I'm already feeling full, but I couldn't resist the curry. I'm writing this while waiting for my companion to go outside. Thank you for the meal!

January 2018 - Revisited This hotel is my regular place to stay when I come to Fukuoka, but recently it has been fully booked often, making it difficult to stay. The accommodation fee includes parking and a breakfast buffet, so it's a good deal and it's popular, which is understandable. There are more branches opening up in Shikoku as well. It's been 8 months since I last had the breakfast buffet at the Kin no Sumi branch. I often stay at the Kin no Sumi branch in Fukuoka because it's close to Hakata. The breakfast venue is on the 1st floor. I arrived at the breakfast venue a bit late around 8:05. Breakfast is usually from 7 o'clock, but you can enter the venue before 7 o'clock. If you go before 7 o'clock, not all the dishes are ready. The breakfast venue can accommodate about 50 people. There were about 10 guests already there. Since it's a buffet, you can take as much as you like and sit at the counter seats. There are about 15 different dishes available. There used to be more variety in the dishes. It's a shame that the variety is decreasing. You can choose between rice and bread. There's also natto available. It's a shame that they ran out of raw eggs. Yogurt is also available. This seems to be common in the HOTELAZ series. I started with rice as the main dish, like a set meal. I'm glad they have natto. I also had sausages, grilled fish, and salad. I asked for a large portion of rice in my bowl. As I was eating, more customers started coming in, and a line started forming. It's hard to go for seconds when other customers are lining up. However, I managed to go for another bowl of rice at the right time. It would be helpful if they had a separate pot for rice refills. After the meal, I had yogurt with blueberry sauce. It was quite delicious. I enjoy eating yogurt regularly. I had a cup of coffee after the meal. I had just one cup and relaxed. I finished my meal comfortably. I think I will have the chance to stay again, and I will have the breakfast buffet again at that time.

I often stay at the Hakata-Kumamoneya store in Fukuoka as it is close to Hakata. The breakfast venue is on the 1st floor. I arrived at the breakfast venue around 6:45, a bit early as breakfast is usually served from 7 am. Even before 7 am, you can enter the venue but not all dishes are ready. The breakfast venue can accommodate around 50 people, and there were about 10 guests already there. Since it's a buffet, you can take whatever you like and sit at the counter seats. There are about 15 dishes to choose from, which is a bit fewer than before. You can choose between rice or bread. They also have natto. It's a shame they ran out of raw eggs. They also offer yogurt, which seems to be common in the HOTELAZ chain. I started with rice as the main dish, along with natto, sausages, grilled fish, and salad. I asked for a large portion of rice. It can be hard to go for seconds when other guests are in line. After the meal, I had yogurt with strawberry sauce, which was quite delicious. I enjoy eating yogurt regularly. I finished with a cup of coffee and relaxed. It was relatively quiet today, so I could enjoy my breakfast leisurely. It was delicious, and I look forward to having the breakfast buffet again when I stay here next time.

September 2016 Revisit I stayed at the HOTEL AZ Kan no Kuma branch in Fukuoka, which has become my regular lodging. I had to make a last-minute reservation, but luckily there was a room available. This branch is conveniently located near Hakata, so I often use it. With free parking and a breakfast buffet, the cost performance is excellent. I arrived at the breakfast venue around 8:20, a bit later than usual. The breakfast buffet starts at 7 am, but there were quite a few customers already. The menu seemed similar to my last stay, with dishes like natto, sausages, grilled fish, eggs, and salad. The rice bowls were large, which was convenient. I also had yogurt with strawberry sauce, which was delicious. After eating, I had coffee and left the venue feeling very satisfied. The food was delicious, and I look forward to staying here again. March 2016 I often stay at HOTEL AZ business hotels when I visit Kyushu. The Kan no Kuma branch in Fukuoka is one of my favorites, as it is conveniently located near Hakata. The buffet had around 15 dishes to choose from, and I enjoyed dishes like natto, sausages, grilled fish, and salad. I also had yogurt with strawberry sauce, which was delicious. The Kan no Kuma branch can get busy due to its proximity to Hakata, but it was relatively quiet on this day. The breakfast was delicious, and I look forward to staying here again.
