The price is high but the food is delicious. The spices complement the moderate acidity well. The tender chunks of beef are also tasty, bringing out a good flavor. The only downside is that the rice runs out too quickly. Overall, it's still delicious. It may not align with my personal philosophy, but if you're willing to pay, you can enjoy good food. If you're going to spend money, at least make sure it's worth it. Just a thought I had, no ulterior motives.

At New Chitose Airport, it's often a struggle to decide what to eat. After wandering around looking for souvenirs, taking a break before boarding the plane. Huh? Royal Host? Seriously!? Let's go!! In Shikoku where I live, there isn't a single Royal Host! None at all!! I still remember when their pancakes were criticized on a TV show, everyone in Shikoku was like (*´▽｀*) huh? So, I decided to have the Royal Host's onion gratin soup and pancakes, which I've been craving for a while. I've already eaten plenty of Hokkaido food! (I'll secretly eat standing sushi after passing through security) As a farewell to Hokkaido, I also ordered a Kirin Ichiban beer, a classic choice. For a side, I got the children's chicken and potatoes. The portion was just right, and I enjoyed watching the kids eat while taking a breather. The table spacing was wide, and the prices were the same as regular Royal Host, so it's quite nice for airport dining. Maybe the Royal Host in New Chitose will be a big hit from now on! I came to New Chitose Airport after a long time to head to Fukuoka Hakata. Before boarding the plane, I had lunch at New Chitose Airport Restaurant by Royal Host. I had a pork bowl with salad. Unlike the Obihiro pork bowl, this one had very little sauce and had a charcoal-grilled taste.

I went around 6:00 pm. I was seated right away, but was told it would take 20-30 minutes for the food to be served. However, the food arrived in less than 30 minutes. I also ordered a children's lunch, which came with salad, hamburger, and yogurt, and my child was very happy.

Dinner on July 23, 2023 (Sunday) with my partner. On the 4th day of our trip to Hokkaido. We left a ramen shop in Asahikawa at 4:48 PM and headed towards Sapporo on the Doto Expressway. We took a 3-minute break at the Sandakan Service Area. It started raining a little around Ebetsu. We got off at Chitose Interchange for refueling, and arrived at the New Chitose Airport car rental office at 6:56 PM. After settling the bill, we were taken to the airport by a shuttle. Since it had only been a little over 2 hours since we had ramen, we decided to just have a beer and entered this restaurant. There were French fries on the floor that the staff didn't bother to pick up. Maybe their motivation is low because it's almost closing time. We ordered 2 glasses of Sapporo Classic (draft beer) (680 yen each, tax included), kale salad with peanut oil dressing (680 yen, tax included), and homemade fried chicken (480 yen, tax included). The kale salad was okay, but the fried chicken was not good at all. It was more of a gathering for relaxation than a reflection meeting. Last order was at 7:30 PM, and we had 2 more glasses of draft beer. The total bill was 4,268 yen. It was expensive for just wanting to have a beer. Flight ADO38 took off from Chitose at 9:13 PM, landed in Haneda at 10:24 PM, and arrived in Kichijoji at 11:42 PM.

Late at night, most restaurants at Chitose Airport are closed. I wanted to eat pork bowl, but even the specialty shops were closed. However, I found pork bowl at Royal Host! I also added an egg! Unexpectedly, it was delicious! I might like the pork bowl here. The pork slices are not thick, but there is something about being able to eat it easily with the rice that is pleasing. The taste is sweet but not too heavy, and I finished it in no time. Adding the egg was a great choice haha. I would like to eat this again! My craving for pork bowl was satisfied, and I am very satisfied. Thank you for the meal ★

The store name was renewed without me noticing! The interior remains mostly the same, and the menu seems to have changed slightly, but overall it seems similar to before. I decided to order a menu item that I didn't see before! Originally, I was planning to go to another pork bowl specialty store on the same floor, but I gave up because of the unbelievably long line. I saw a photo of a delicious-looking pork bowl here, so I decided to come in without hesitation! The pork bowl was satisfying enough!

The Royal Hayashi Rice at 1573 Jokkiroyho's Kashmir is delicious. The kids' curry is not the typical kind, you can taste the spices. It's a Western-style restaurant, so the hayashi rice must be good too. I ordered it and it was tasty. It's a bit pricey, but the flavors are surprisingly good, especially for a tired body, the acidity goes well.

I always have a hard time deciding what to eat when I go to the airport!! There are too many delicious options to choose from!! I was lured in by the delicious steak samples at the entrance and decided to eat here!! I ordered the Angus sirloin steak with pilaf♫ The steak was easy to eat without any tough parts!! The sauce on top of the steak and the side sauce both had a nice garlic flavor and were very good!! Just a little warning for those heading to work or a date - the pilaf is a bit garlicky too!! The pilaf was also very delicious♡ The side vegetables seemed to be lightly fried and had that extra touch of care put into them!! I was surprised to see pickled radish as a side, but I love pickled radish♡ so it was a welcome addition!! Lol

It's 8:00 in the morning at Chitose Airport. Oh, hello, it's Kamen! Due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to visit my beloved Hokkaido for four years, so I'm finally back to the northern land. I have about 3 hours of waiting time until 11:00, so I thought of passing the time at a restaurant in the airport, but most of the shops don't open until 10:00. I decided to visit the one that was open, which happened to be a Royal Host. Not very Hokkaido-like, huh? I ordered a hearty breakfast set when it turned 10:00. I quickly finished my meal and it was still only 9:00. Maybe I'll look at souvenirs to pass the time! Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at New Chitose Airport before 9 am and wanted to have breakfast. Unfortunately, most of the shops were still closed, so I chose one of the few that were open. I ordered the classic Royal Host Morning set. I skipped the onion soup and requested a hot coffee. Soon, the salad and coffee arrived. The salad was fresh with a crunchy texture and a hint of spiciness from the vegetables, which was delicious. By the time I finished the salad, the bread and main dishes arrived. The bread was soft and warm, perfect with butter and jam. I also enjoyed the scrambled eggs, sausage, hash brown fries with ketchup. Overall, it was a simple but satisfying breakfast.

I used it for breakfast on the day I returned to Nagoya. This time, I stayed at a hotel without meals, so I had a piece of Secoma bread in the room, but it wasn't enough. So, I checked out of the hotel a little early and moved to New Chitose Airport. I knew that this restaurant was open from early in the morning since my last visit, so I visited again this time. The restaurant opens at 7:20 am, and it was quite crowded as there are probably no other places open for food and drinks in the morning. I managed to get a seat, placed my order, and chose the morning hamburger set with a large Sapporo Classic beer, which cost 2398 yen. It felt a bit luxurious to have this in the morning... and the beer is quite expensive. The beer arrived shortly after, and after a short wait, the meal arrived. Wow, it's quite a generous portion. This looks like it will go well with rice and alcohol. The hamburger is a Japanese-style one, served with rice, miso soup, salad, and pickles. There was also roasted seaweed. The hamburger had a firm texture with a Japanese soy sauce-based flavor that whetted the appetite. The salad was ordinary, but even the pickles that I usually don't like were surprisingly good with this menu. I also had a beer in between bites and finished the meal. The restaurant was getting busier, so I left quickly, but I had a great meal. As I mentioned before, I would like to visit again to try the grand menu next time. Thank you for the meal.

I invited my childhood friend and we went on a trip to Osaka. Justin Bieber has been canceling his shows in Japan multiple times, so I no longer trust him. We went to Osaka for 3 nights and 4 days from November 15th to 18th. I can't wait for the exciting trip. The restaurants were closed, but luckily Royal Host is open early in the morning. Hello everyone! Nyajichan, a Snow Man fan who unfortunately didn't get any LIVE tickets this year, is heading to Tokyo to visit the filming locations with another Snow Man fan. At New Chitose Airport, I was always struggling to find breakfast, but I remembered that on a TV show that caused a stir with pancakes, Royal Host's curry received unanimous approval! The place has been renovated and is now called "New Chitose Airport Restaurant by ROYAL HOST." Let's go there. I ordered the Morning Beef Jawa Curry for 1,067 yen. I wanted to also get the reliable onion soup, but I didn't want to board the plane with a full stomach, so I resisted. It seems like the curry is quite popular around here! It arrived in about 5 minutes. The curry in the magic lamp was a bit oily, and the way you scoop it changes the taste. At first, it tastes sweet! The impression is strong with a mild spiciness. The way they use spices makes it not seem like a family restaurant curry, and it slowly grows on you. The beef is so tender that it melts in your mouth, and there is always a piece of meat in every spoonful. The sunny-side-up egg that comes with the morning set is perfectly runny. The side dishes include pickled radish instead of Fukujinzuke, and mango chutney. The pickled radish is good, but the chutney is too sweet for this already sweet curry. I think I might have found a new favorite in this curry. The morning breakfast at New Chitose Airport at 8 am seems to be a one-stop choice now. In the past, there were two Royal Host restaurants in Chitose, but when I went back after a long time, they were all gone and I felt lonely. Remembering that the airport restaurant at Chitose Airport has always been Royal Host, I visited today. Recently, even the sign says "by royal host," so it's no secret. The food was delicious but a little pricey. Today, I ended up ordering dessert too, so lunch for the three of us was a luxury.

In New Chitose Airport's 3rd floor, there is a restaurant called Royal in the restaurant street. It seems to have been renovated recently. I visited at 7:30 in the morning. They offer limited menu options for morning such as morning sets and brunch. The restaurant was quite full, probably because many other shops were not open in the morning. When I entered, the staff kindly told me to choose any seat I liked. The morning set includes scrambled eggs, which can be changed to fried eggs upon request. You can choose between British-style loaf bread or regular sandwich bread. You also get to choose a drink. First, they bring you a salad and a drink. The morning salad can also be purchased separately for 100 yen. It includes lettuce, baby lettuce, mizuna, purple onions, and dressing. The scrambled eggs were quite runny. They come with ketchup, but I prefer to eat them with salt and pepper. The plate also includes hash browns and sausages. The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with whipped butter and strawberry jam. I felt like something was missing, maybe they could offer a drink bar option? The payment options are diverse, including credit cards and electronic money, which is convenient for an airport restaurant.

I wanted to enjoy a beer at the airport, so I decided to indulge in Zangi and Sapporo Classic at Royal Restaurant while waiting for my flight. Zangi is a large fried chicken dish with juicy and tender meat, named after Hokkaido's fried chicken. It was delicious and freshly fried. Although the lounge was nice, I chose this restaurant because you can't hear the airport announcements inside the lounge. Plus, you can see the planes taking off and landing, making it perfect for families with children.

Lunch at New Chitose Airport. My wife said she didn't want ramen anymore, so we went to Royal Host where there seemed to be a variety of options on the menu. It was hard for my wife to decide what to order. I had the Hokkaido B-class gourmet dish, the pork cutlet with spaghetti. In the end, my wife ordered onion soup, the Chef's salad, and low-carb bread. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. The pork cutlet was quite generous in portion size, but I felt it needed more sauce on top. Royal Host tends to lean towards the higher-end side, so the meat sauce was a bit upscale. I think it would have been better if it had a bit more of a junky feel to better complement the cutlet. Also, when it comes to teppanyaki, I think it's a Nagoya thing to want an egg on top. My wife's foodie Chef's salad also looked quite substantial. Royal Host is definitely a good family restaurant.

It seems that the number of users has increased due to the relaxation of COVID-19 measures, but the number of infected individuals has not decreased, with a few deaths reported daily. One of the first restaurants to open in New Chitose Airport is "New Chitose Airport Restaurant by ROYAL HOST," which seems to offer the most breakfast-like meal in the airport. The restaurant had about 70-80% of its seats filled, and I ordered the "Japanese Set Meal @ 1,188 yen." It arrived in about 8 minutes and included white rice, salmon, miso soup, fried egg, salad, and more. The rice was cooked firm, and the quality of the rice seemed decent. The side dishes were average and the cost performance was not great. I wonder what the price difference is compared to a regular "ROYAL HOST" restaurant. How is it that this Japanese set meal with these contents is priced at 1,188 yen? Is the rent at the airport really that high? Perhaps they should consider a buffet style instead.
