It's so hot and humid, feels like I'm on the verge of heatstroke while walking around. I decided to avoid Fukuoka City Zoological and Botanical Garden this time and made a reservation for Takashita instead. It's conveniently located even from Hakata. Today, I tried Asahi Super Dry, a classic choice. Next, I had Asahi Dry Black, a black beer with a surprisingly light taste. Then, I enjoyed Asahi Premium Beer, a rich and flavorful brew. I also reminisced about Asahi The Master, a full-bodied German-style beer that unfortunately got discontinued. Asahi The Dream seems to have met the same fate as well. Thank you for the meal!

I used to take the Nishitetsu train and go to hot springs for a soak, but it took a lot of time and the hot weather didn't appeal to me. Thinking about future Fukuoka Dome games, it's nice to be in a good mood here in the nearby area. It's close to the station and easily accessible from Takeshita Station, so even if you walk a bit tipsy, you won't get heatstroke. I made a reservation and visited. Asahi Super Dry has its own value. Not everyone likes premium beers that are rich, heavy, and bitter. On the other hand, even if it's cheap, some people don't like third-category beers that are far from the taste of beer. Dry Black is easy to drink with a focus on sharpness rather than bitterness and deep flavor. It has a completely different direction from Asahi Stout souvenirs from the Suita factory. Lastly, for those who want a rich and solid beer for gifts or casual drinking. Thank you for the meal. Thank you for visiting and reading. I visited the Asahi Beer factory for a tour. We received a detailed explanation of the brewing process while touring the factory, and at the end, we were able to enjoy a free tasting of freshly brewed beer! First, we tried the regular Asahi Super Dry, of course, freshly brewed, so delicious! Next, we tried two types of Extra Cold beer - Asahi Super Dry and Super Dry Black. I was surprised by how tasty the Super Dry Black was! It was the most easy-to-drink and mild black beer I've ever had. They mentioned that it's not widely available, but I definitely want to find and buy it to enjoy!

When you move from Hakata Station to Takeshita Station, you will see the Asahi Beer Hakata Factory. You can tour the factory by reservation only, and it's very popular because you can taste beer afterwards. Interestingly, a large percentage of visitors here are from Korea and China. I visited on a weekday to see the factory in operation. After the tour, you can enjoy up to three free beers in 20 minutes. I started with the Dry beer, which I don't usually drink, but it tasted great when fresh. Then I tried the Dry Premium which had a richer taste. Lastly, I had the Extra Gold Black which felt a bit underwhelming after the first two. I also enjoyed some cream cheese crackers. If I have the chance, I would like to visit again, but I might get tired of touring the factory multiple times. The beer I had later at the stadium had a completely different taste, which was quite a contrast and made it hard to enjoy (laughs).

Since I came all the way to Fukuoka, I made a reservation and it was easy to get in here. Asahi Super Dry beer is always delicious, with its creamy and cold taste. They also offer Dry Black for those who love dark beer, which is a great choice. The fact that it is served extra cold really enhances the drinkability of both the Super Dry and the Black. If you prefer a more bitter taste, you can try the Premium Black or Ebisu Black. It's important for each beer to have its own unique flavor, otherwise there is no point in having them all taste the same. Thank you for the meal and thank you for visiting my blog. "Beer that makes you say 'delicious': lol" Unexpectedly turned into a trip to Nagasaki and Fukuoka (a pleasant trip with a bit of pampering: lol), the last day in Fukuoka with a flight home in the afternoon. Normally, would you go to Dazaifu or Tenjin? Not particularly religious and no students taking exams, plus the weather is unfortunately rainy (not great for outdoor sightseeing), so after buying souvenir bread at Canal City, we took a short JR train ride from Hakata Station to this place near Takeshita Station (reservation required) (no need to question why we made a reservation regardless of the weather: lol). A serious study session to uncover the secrets of delicious beer: lol After studying how beer is made on a factory tour, the highlight was the beer tasting session. Freshly made beer is definitely delicious! Normally, the Rakis would say "Super Dry is like water!" but this time, they said, "It's really good." Had three beers and some snacks, felt bad for getting it all for free so bought some snacks to go with the drinks as souvenirs (for personal use). Now, time for some ramen before heading to Fukuoka Airport (^_^)/"

From Hakata, take the Kagoshima Main Line and get off at the first station, Takeshita. A short walk from there is the Asahi Beer factory, where you can take a free tour. They explain the ingredients and the brewing process in detail, and you can even see the bottling and canning process. After the tour, you can enjoy a beer tasting with options like Super Dry and Extra Gold. Freshly brewed beer tastes amazing, especially when poured correctly. After the tasting, head to the Beer Garden where you can enjoy delicious Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) or hot pot while savoring more tasty beer.

To Asahi Beer Hakata Factory, thank you for having us again! The factory tour was impressive, especially seeing the bottling and canning lines in action. This time, we tried a new beer called Grand Mild made with lemongrass, which has a high alcohol content of 7%. It had a unique lemon-like aroma and was quite flavorful. The Dry Black had a rich taste and was delicious. And of course, the Super Dry had a crisp finish that we enjoyed. Thank you for the hospitality and the great beers! Visit and review by nankaihawks1.

I decided to visit the Asahi Beer Hakata Factory. First, I watched a video about Asahi Beer's initiatives in the screening room and then walked through the factory. There were various panels displayed along the corridors, including information about how many related factories Asahi Beer has. Further along, I was able to touch the barley and hops, which are the raw materials for beer. While hops cannot be eaten, there were edible barley grains available for tasting. The barley had a sweet taste as I chewed on it, and it was very delicious. I then visited a booth that explained the brewing, fermentation, and aging processes in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I could see how big the tanks were. Although the filtration room was not in operation due to it being a Saturday, I could see the bottling and canning processes running as they seemed unable to keep up with production. I learned about the impressive production volume at the Hakata Factory, such as how much Super Dry beer is produced in one minute and how many years it would take for one person to drink all the beer in a tank. The one-hour factory tour flew by quickly, and it ended with a tasting session. Since I was heading to the Beer Garden next, I skipped the tasting as each person was limited to three servings.

I visited a factory tour with my family. It was a Saturday, so unfortunately the production line was not running at that time. The tour included an introduction to Asahi beer through videos, explanations on panels, and a look at the actual production line. It was interesting to learn that hops have a strong smell and that bitterness can be detected when they are crushed. At the end, we had a tasting session where we could drink up to three glasses of beer within 20 minutes. The first glass was freshly brewed Super Dry, and for the second and third glasses, we could choose from Rich, Extra Cold, or Black. We also received cheese snacks from Asahi Beer Group's Nada Million. Children who couldn't drink beer enjoyed soft drinks like Mitsuya Cider. It was all-you-can-drink for them too. It was quite challenging to finish three glasses of beer within the time limit, but we managed to do so. We wanted to try Genghis Khan at the adjacent Asahi Beer Garden, but we were too full from the beer. Maybe next time... It was a very enjoyable experience. We will visit again. Just as I finished drinking beer, I found a nice place nearby. I decided to try a free sample and then purchased some gifts at the usual gift shop. I bought some Hime Katsuo from Tosahitoturi and couldn't resist the limited edition glasses from the Hakata factory. The Hime Katsuo is great on its own, with hints of yuzu and bonito flavors that complement beer well. The taste is light, allowing the bonito flavor to shine through. I wish it had a bit more flavor though. It could also be a snack for cats, but overall it was a delicious treat. Thank you for visiting and reading!

This time, I visited the Asahi Beer Hakata Factory where there is a reception desk and a lobby on the 1st floor, as well as a shop. There is also a gelato corner where you can purchase from a vending machine for 260 yen including tax. I thought it was just one scoop, but to my surprise, it was a double scoop! I was delighted. I chose blueberry and strawberry flavors, which were very refreshing and perfect for the summer with a sherbet-like texture. The sweetness was more pronounced in the strawberry flavor, while the blueberry had a nice balance of tartness and sweetness. It was a delicious treat! Thank you for visiting and reading.

Well, well, I happened to find a beer factory in Hakata and decided to visit Asahi Beer for a factory tour (^_^) The tasting included the Normal Super Dry, which was nicely chilled and delicious, easy to drink beer. Next was the Dry Black, which surprisingly had a good balance of flavor for a dark beer, easy to drink with a good finish. Lastly, the Rich Brew had a deep color and a rich flavor, focusing on the complexity of beer taste. Thank you for the delicious beer! I added a photo of pork jerky. It's summer, time for beer! I went on a tour to Fukuoka during the summer vacation. The tour includes a visit to this beer factory. This is my third time visiting, as I have been here once for a tour and once for a barbecue. After about an hour of touring the factory, it's time for tasting. You can have up to three drinks per person. I tried Super Dry, Extra Cold, and Extra Cold Dry Black. The freshly made beer is rich in flavor. The Extra Cold is even colder because it's served in an iced glass. The beer was delicious. I bought Orion Beer Draft as a souvenir. It cost 663 yen for three bottles. Even though this beer is from Okinawa, it is settled at the Asahi Beer factory they are affiliated with. You can taste the difference. It's always refreshing and crisp. I also bought some pork jerky as a snack. It cost around 1000 yen for three pieces. It's slightly lighter than beef jerky and has a great flavor the more you chew. It was a perfect accompaniment to the beer. After that, I went to see the Grand Amazon Exhibition at the Fukuoka City Museum.

[First-time visitor this year] This year will be the last chance to join the cherry blossom tour. Even though it was only 10% blooming, I couldn't get a reservation... Masahiro is feeling down, but trying to bounce back at Goro Maru, tasting the new product "Asahi The Dream" for the first time! (laughs) But the Super Dry was delicious, right? Acting all high and mighty after getting a free drink (laughs). Looking forward to next year's spring plan! Thank you for the meal. [Revisit] I heard that a night tour was being held, and they were offering "Orion Beer" for free, which is not usually on the menu! There is a time limit, but you can have 3 free drinks! (laughs) Surprisingly refreshing! The concept inside the building is "Okinawa"! The new snack called "Okogesta" was delicious! It's being held until the end of this month! For more information, click here! https://factory.asahibeer.co.jp/reservation/?area=hakata Thank you for the meal. [Revisit] I came for the seasonal "Cherry Blossom Tour"~ After the usual factory tour, the tasting session is held in the factory's inner courtyard where we enjoy beer~ (laughs) The time limit is a bit longer at 30 minutes! (happy) But you can only drink "Super Dry", so maybe the regular tasting area is recommended for beer lovers? But I made sure to have 3 glasses~ Super Dry with cherry blossom petals, how Japanese~ Thank you for the meal. Celebrating its 90th anniversary, it's the Asahi Beer Kyushu Factory. Initially, it was a spacious area, but now it's a "beer factory in the city". In Fukuoka, there is the Kirin Beer factory in Amagi, and in Oita, there is the Sapporo Beer factory. This is my third visit to the Asahi Beer factory in Kyushu. The only one left in Kyushu is the Suntory Kumamoto factory. Now, about the system... First, you must make a reservation. You can do it online, but phone reservations are convenient. Then, you tour the factory for about an hour, and then comes the long-awaited "free drink time" (laughs). Most factories follow this flow, but only Asahi Beer requires walking for all movements. Unlike other factories that use buses, there is no bus here, but the walking distance is short. There are 4 types of beer available. First, you are forced to drink "Super Dry" (laughs). From the second glass, you can choose freely. You can have up to 3 glasses... The time limit is about 20 minutes, so it's quite tough, but let's do our best to drink~ The remaining three types are "Extra Cold", "Extra Cold Black", and "Premium Dry". The "coldness" of the "cold series" was not that great on this day... The thermometer indicates "-2 degrees", but it didn't feel much different from other beers. What to exclude... that's the dilemma (laughs). There are free snacks at the tasting corner, but there are also many tempting snacks at the shop, so I hope you'll have a hard time deciding (laughs). There are also juices and non-alcoholic drinks, so it's okay for designated drivers and children. It's quite easy to enjoy... My stomach is already full (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

I visited a foreign beer fair where you can try three types of overseas beer in addition to the regular beer. I made a reservation in advance and took a factory tour. The explanations were easy to understand, and there were interactive corners where you could touch and learn. Unfortunately, the factory was closed, but I imagine it would have been very fun if it was running! The factory tour was enjoyable without getting bored, and then came the eagerly awaited beer tasting. First, I tried the three types of overseas beer, and then I could have up to three glasses of Asahi beer. The cold black one was so delicious! The snacks from Danman were just the right level of spiciness, keeping me smiling until the end! There were also affordable barbecue-style options, making it convenient for such gatherings!

This time, I participated in a tour where I could also enjoy the taste of Taketsuru (NIKKA WHISKY). The tour was a bit different from a regular factory tour in that we listened to the story of Lisa and Massan in a mini theater with a PowerPoint presentation, followed by a short tour of the beer factory. There were many foreign visitors on the tour, so the guides separated us based on language. During the tour, I learned that Asahi Beer also produces milk in China. After the factory tour, we had a tasting session where we could try 2 glasses of whiskey and 2 beers. I quickly finished my partner's beer as well, so I ended up having 2 whiskies and 3 beers. Unfortunately, the beer glasses were replaced with regular glasses, which was a bit disappointing. The tasting area had been renovated and looked nice, but the seating was cramped. The snacks were cream cheese rice crackers in collaboration with Nada Million, but they just seemed like regular rice crackers without knowing about the collaboration. The items sold at the factory store were limited edition, and though I don't remember the exact price, it was around 800 yen, which I thought was a bit expensive. The high alcohol content in whiskey hit me hard later on. I started with whiskey on the rocks, but since I had to drink beer within a limited time, I realized I couldn't just sip on whiskey, so I ended up having the second glass straight. After the tasting, we visited the store, where I bought some unique items that can only be found there. I got some chocolate made with Taketsuru Pure Malt, which came in a stylish paulownia box. The chocolate had a coating of cocoa powder that made it look a bit gorilla-like, as my partner and I described it. The taste was definitely whiskey-infused! It's a generous portion of chocolate, perfect for whiskey lovers. Visiting a factory can be tiring, but it's a nice change of pace once in a while.
