I've been curious about this place for a while, but it's not in an area I usually go during business hours, so I finally visited today. There was only one other customer. I ordered the shrimp dipping noodles. The noodles were slightly thin and flat, slightly cold, and delicious. The shrimp soup had a shrimp aroma that I liked. Towards the end, the flavor mellowed out. The side dish was served separately.

In a corner of a mixed-use building in Nakasu stands this shop. Inside, there are many autographs of famous people displayed, giving off the scent of a renowned establishment. Although I wasn't hungry at all, I was lured in by the sign outside the shop and decided to drop by. I ordered the recommended shrimp and pork bone ramen, as well as the shrimp rice with a tempting name. The shrimp and pork bone ramen had a perfect blend of shrimp broth and pork bone soup, a soup that I could probably drink endlessly! The shrimp rice had an appetizing color, and when I tasted it, the flavor of shrimp was amazing! I recommend trying it by adding the shrimp rice to the shrimp and pork bone soup, creating a porridge-like dish. In conclusion, even though I wasn't hungry at all, the food was so delicious that I ended up finishing the soup as well. Thank you for the meal!

This is a ramen restaurant in the area. The inside is not very spacious, with only one customer at the counter and two customers at a two-seater table when I visited. I was torn between the shrimp tonkotsu and shrimp chicken white broth, but this time I chose the shrimp white broth. There was only one staff member, but they didn't come to take our order, so I had to order directly over the counter. The waiting time was not long, and the dish arrived. It had a strong shrimp smell and taste, with a lot of shrimp flavor. It was more shrimp-centric than chicken white broth. The char siu was thinly sliced and rare, which personally was not to my liking. Well, I guess it's rare to find a ramen this shrimp-focused in northern Kyushu.

There is a shop on the basement floor of a building with a Don Quijote store. I entered without any wait around 12 pm on a holiday. I ordered the special shrimp dipping noodles. It has a creamy and rich soup made with shrimp and pork bone, paired with chewy whole wheat straight noodles! It's my favorite type of shrimp dipping noodles. The shrimp flavor is abundant and delicious. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. There are other menu options besides shrimp, so even if you don't like shrimp, you can rest assured. The only downside is that the staff, possibly part-time workers, are very relaxed, it's hard to tell if they are paying attention, and the payment process is a bit slow. It was a bit disappointing.

Ebi-tsukemen. A shop directly connected to Nakasu Kawabata Station on the subway. I was drawn in by the sign and couldn't help but enter. The rich shrimp broth is delicious. The noodles are flat noodles that seem to be made of whole wheat flour. The green vegetables are elegant with rapeseed blossoms, and the chashu is so carefully arranged that I thought it was roast beef. The hot dipping soup is also shrimp-flavored. So delicious! ^_^

Ramen restaurant located in the basement of Nakasu Don Quijote. Visited with a friend because I love shrimp! Excited! Ordered their recommended shrimp and pork bone ramen. When it was brought to the table, the smell of shrimp was amazing! Took a sip of the soup and it was super shrimpy! The rich flavor of pork bone followed. Delicious! The curly noodles were perfect. The thinly sliced chashu was soft and tasty. I love shrimp, so I think mixing it with more richness would make it even more flavorful. I'm looking forward to trying their shrimp and chicken broth ramen next time! Thank you for the meal! Shrimp! Shrimp! Shrimp!【Hakata Shrimp Pork Bone Ramen Ijisho Sakura】

The tonkotsu ramen here is rich and creamy, with a slight ammonia-like smell that isn't too bothersome. It's similar to Ichiran ramen in Tokyo, easy to eat even for those not used to Fukuoka's strong flavors. Locals might find it lacking in richness, though.

~Special Shrimp Tsukemen~ The second stop on my Hakata Tsukemen expedition is here! I found this shop on the basement floor of a building where Don Quijote is located. I arrived around 12 pm on a holiday and was able to enter without any wait time! The creamy and rich shrimp and tonkotsu broth paired with whole wheat straight noodles was fantastic! It's my favorite type of shrimp tsukemen. You can also feel the Hakata vibe in it. The toppings that come with it add a nice touch of color. I finished the dish, including the soup refill, in no time! If you're craving shrimp tsukemen in Hakata, this is the place to go! If you're lucky, you might even run into a celebrity! Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went to a ramen shop known for their shrimp and pork bone ramen. I found it by searching nearby, so I decided to give it a try. The interior of the shop has counter seats and table seats, with a limited number of seats available. The walls were covered with autographs of famous people. Customers ranged from individuals to groups, and there were even families with small children. I ordered the "Special Shrimp and Pork Bone Ramen" with an extra seasoned egg. The taste was rich in shrimp flavor, more like dried shrimp than shrimp extract. The pork bone flavor was almost non-existent, but that also means there was no strong smell, so it should be fine for those who are sensitive to it. The chashu was tender and surprisingly good. The seasoned egg was average. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

Visited the restaurant alone around 1 pm on a weekday. The shop categorizes their ramen types by noodle types. Last time, I tried the Ebi Tonkotsu Ramen with an extra order of noodles for Tonkotsu Ramen to confirm the compatibility of the soup and noodles. This time, I decided to change the noodle type for the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen and Ebi Ramen with an extra order of noodles. First, the Tonkotsu Ramen. Noodles: Very thin noodles similar to somen. Soup: Sweet and thick Tonkotsu soup. Toppings: Large slices of chashu, which I think are the same as the Ebi Ramen. The quantity of noodles is sufficient even without the extra order, probably due to the thin noodles. However, just like last time, I ordered an extra serving of noodles for a different ramen type. The noodles themselves have a really good flavor. The compatibility with the soup is excellent, just like the default ramen at the shop. Next time, I plan to try the Truffle Soy Milk Foam Ramen. Looking forward to it!

On the way up from Nakasu Kawabata Subway Station to Don Quijote, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a ramen shop. Intrigued by their shrimp and pork bone collaboration, I decided to try their shrimp and pork bone ramen, a combination I had never seen before. As soon as it arrived, I could immediately smell the shrimp. Despite expecting a light broth, it was surprisingly thick and rich, with a strong shrimp flavor that paired well with the pork bone. The chashu was large and tender, infused with delicious flavors. I couldn't resist ordering an extra serving of noodles. The extra noodles came with shrimp chips on top, enhancing the flavor even more. This was a taste like no other I had experienced before, incredibly delicious.

I wish the balance between the soup and noodles was better, with a wider flavor profile. It feels like I'm eating shrimp powder, but I don't think that's the case. It's a very intriguing taste. Thank you for the meal.

Strolling around Nakasu in Hakata. I feel like slurping ramen for dinner. I came across this restaurant right in front of the underground supermarket where I stopped to stock up for hotel drinking. Oh, shrimp, huh. It looks delicious, so I decided to go in. The name of the restaurant is pronounced "Iyo". I visited around 6:00 pm on a holiday. The restaurant was about half full. The ramen had two choices: pork bone base with or without shrimp, and there was also a chicken base soup. Intrigued by the shrimp, I ordered the "Shrimp Tonkotsu Ramen for 850 yen & Midori Gin Soda for 300 yen (as listed)". I like gin soda. I couldn't help but order it. While sipping on the gin soda and waiting for a while, the ramen arrived. It looked stylish with a beautiful conical bowl when viewed from the side. It was filled with cherry shrimp and looked delicious. I took a sip of the soup. The creamy taste of the pork bone combined with the essence of the shrimp was amazing. This is irresistible for shrimp lovers. I couldn't stop eating with the spoon. The noodles were thin and slightly wavy. The firm texture was good. The chashu had a wide area and was satisfying to eat. I was able to enjoy the essence of the shrimp until the end. At the time of payment, they said, "It's Men's Day, so it's 50 yen off." Well, lucky me. However, the discounted price was slightly higher than I calculated. I later realized that only the side menu and drink menu were listed without tax. So the gin soda was 330 yen. Hey, can't you just list everything including tax? Well, it's okay because it's 50 yen cheaper. There were lots of signed autographs on the wall. They were all from people I didn't know. The photo of the tsukemen looked nice and caught my attention. Thank you for the meal.

When I came to Hakata, I had to try the pork bone ramen~ But since I've been here over 30 times, I wanted something different, so I tried this one (lol). There were quite a few shrimp in it. It wasn't bad, but I felt like the deliciousness of the shrimp didn't really come through...

It is located in the basement of a building directly connected to Gion subway station. You might hesitate for a moment on the Tabelog map. It is a tonkotsu ramen with the impression of adding shrimp to tonkotsu shoyu. The noodles are not the thin straight noodles of Hakata tonkotsu, but slightly thick curly noodles. It has a salty taste that goes well with the soup. The shrimp is sakura shrimp, so it's a bit different from Ichiran in Hokkaido. It's like adding soy sauce to Hakata tonkotsu soup, with the added aroma of shrimp. This is also a Hakata ramen, so you can get extra noodles. It's nice that the extra noodles also have sakura shrimp on them. It was quite delicious ramen.

Located in the basement of Gate's Building, Nakasu 3-chome, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. The exterior is right in front of you as you come down the escalator! Inside, there are table seats and counter seats. Last time I visited, the staff were female, but this time it was a male staff. I ordered the "Shrimp Tonkotsu (with extra shrimp)". First, let's talk about the soup - hmm, the taste has changed. The tonkotsu soup is well cooked and has a stronger flavor. The shrimp aroma complements the tonkotsu, but... there is an excessive amount of "fat" that is overpowering, making it feel greasy and sticky in the mouth. I felt it was delicious at first, but it was tough to finish until the end. The inability to emulsify the "soup and fat" is causing this situation! They probably don't know how to emulsify it. With the current soup state, it would likely be too heavy for most women. I hope for an update next time! Thank you for the meal. Enjoy Ramen Life☆

I had a meeting scheduled in Nakasu at 12 o'clock, so I visited the restaurant just after it opened on Sunday around 11 o'clock. There were 3 male customers already seated. The restaurant had about 10 seats in total. As I descended the escalator to the basement, I could smell the delicious aroma of shrimp, making me hungry even before entering the restaurant! Since I was dining alone, I sat at the counter. Based on reviews I had read beforehand, I ordered the Hakata Ebi Tonkotsu Ramen for 970 yen and a bowl of rice for 150 yen instead of an extra serving of noodles. There were 2 male staff members working, and their energy level was appropriate for the size of the restaurant. I could see the chefs preparing the food from my seat at the counter, and their work was very meticulous. The food was served in about 5 minutes after ordering. The soup had a strong shrimp aroma with no hint of pork bone smell. It was definitely a shrimp tonkotsu soup. The pork bone richness was there, but the shrimp flavor was prominent and delicious. Just as the reviews had mentioned, adding rice instead of extra noodles was a nice touch. The noodles were from Aoki Shokusan Co., Ltd., and they had a different texture from regular tonkotsu ramen noodles, possibly due to the addition of tapioca. The toppings such as the seasoned egg and chashu were flavorful and didn't get overshadowed by the shrimp. After finishing the noodles, I added the rice, creating a simple shrimp risotto. It was also good! The portion size was sufficient even for a male, and the overall balance of the ramen was great. The price was a bit on the higher side for ramen in Hakata, probably due to the use of shrimp as the main ingredient. I plan to try the regular tonkotsu ramen next time to compare it with the shrimp tonkotsu ramen.
