I visited around 6:00 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was already about 80% full. The pricing is clear at 360 yen per item, and there are no appetizers, making the bill straightforward. On the second day of my trip to Osaka, I stayed at a hotel in Temmabashi to prepare for visiting Osaka Castle the next day. I arrived much later than planned and the restaurant I had planned to have dinner at was already closed. So, I went to a convenience store to buy dinner and found Torikizoku. It seemed to be open until midnight, so I decided to go in. It had been a few years since I last visited, but it was still cheap and delicious. The clear pricing of 350 yen for all items was reassuring, and the fact that all ingredients are domestically sourced was also reassuring. The yakitori, side dishes, and rice dishes were all generously sized, making it a cost-effective meal. At first, I thought, "Torikizoku on a trip?" but in the end, it turned out to be a very satisfying dinner. When I return home, I will also visit my local Torikizoku!! Thank you for the meal.

It was late at night, so it was not crowded, and there were only two staff members. They seemed busy but still provided friendly service. It was my second stop, but I ended up ordering various items from the extensive menu, ranging from classics to ramen. On July 15, 2017, I revisited this restaurant. It was a scorching hot day. After exploring Osaka Castle, I took a break at Hotel Keihan before heading to the restaurant. I arrived after 6 pm and was seated at the counter. I ordered my usual "Kinmai" beer and "Vinegar Motsu." Then I ordered the Momokizoku-yaki (with sauce), Munekizoku-yaki (with sauce), and Torikama-meshi. This place offers great value for money and is recommended for those who want to have a meal centered around yakitori.

Tricky, a newcomer to the restaurant, is located on the 4th floor of the building where FamilyMart is located. I arrived at the same time as the 6:00 opening and sat at the counter seat. I was torn between ordering a Premium Malt and a Kinmugi, but ended up ordering the overwhelming amount of Kinmugi. I then ordered the Grilled Chicken Thigh with Sauce, Cabbage Plate, Heart Salt (with garlic), and Chicken Rice Cooked in a Pot. The sauce for the Grilled Chicken Thigh was surprisingly strong in flavor, so I adjusted by getting a refill of the cabbage plate. The Chicken Rice Cooked in a Pot was cooked right in front of me. It took about 30 minutes to cook, but it was slightly strong in flavor, yet delicious. I enjoyed the crispy rice and the piping hot dish. For those who want to go to a yakitori restaurant where you can eat and drink with peace of mind and great value for money, I highly recommend it.

When standing at the intersection near Temmabashi Station, you can see the sign for Torikizoku. I decided to stop by after reading an interview with the company's president in an economic magazine. I sat at a two-person counter seat and ordered the 280 yen menu items: Kinmugi beer, spicy cucumber, cartilage, salt tsukune, and stuffed bell peppers. The spicy cucumber arrived quickly, but it lacked flavor. The stuffed bell peppers came in a set of three, they were slim and tasty with a side of mustard. The tsukune was served hot and was a bit dry. The cartilage was small. The yakitori was priced at 280 yen for two skewers, so you can enjoy 28 pieces of chicken easily. However, please note that the price does not include tax. They accept credit cards.

Located just across the intersection from Temmabashi Station in Osaka. I waited for the opening and went in. I thought I was the first, but there was already a customer there just ahead of me. I was tired from walking that day and suggested to my girlfriend that we have a beer on the way back, so we came to Torikizoku. I ordered a large glass of Kinmugi beer... It's huge! It took a bit of time to finish the 700ml of Kinmugi beer at Torikizoku. But we finished it quicker than expected and ordered another one! We filled our stomachs with a plate of cabbage, Kizoku-yaki, bonjiri, and then moved on to Hormone Negi Mori Ponzu and Tsukune Cheese Yaki. By then, we had switched to hot sake (enthusiastic). Being served hot sake in a one-cup container felt very familiar. It was a cold day, and the moment we felt warm from the inside was wonderful. By the way, even though I accidentally spilled some shichimi on the table, the staff kindly cleaned it up without making a fuss. The customer service at Torikizoku, just like at the one in Kyobashi, was excellent. It was a delightful dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I wanted to have a reasonably priced banquet, so I headed to "Torikizoku Temmabashi" for a meal. The first drink had to be a light beer! It was so cold and refreshing, perfect for summer. There were other drink options, but with the generous portions here, you can't go wrong. I ordered the Chicken Nanban, which was delicious, although I remember the old version being more like chicken cutlet. Today's version was more authentic. Next, I tried the famous Torikizoku Grilled Chicken Thighs with sauce, which was also very tasty. I also had beef skewers and pork belly skewers. And of course, I switched to a Yamazaki Highball, a must-have when dining at Torikizoku. It always feels like a good deal. I added an extra spice to the grilled chicken thighs, which was a nice touch. But I think I prefer the sauced version. Finished off with another Yamazaki Highball.

CP is excellent. It is located in front of Temmabashi Station. The last train is easy to catch. However, are birds considered nobility? In my opinion, cows are nobility and birds are commoners. In any case, it is cheap. Even if you are not a noble, you can order a lot and eat like one. It is an affordable option for businessmen. It is always crowded. It is popular among businessmen. The menu is 280 yen each. The party plans are also cheap. I thought that with such a restaurant, there might be a shortage of staff and the turnover might be slow, but that was not the case. A New Year's party with colleagues in the morning. Usually, I would take the lead, but I'm currently in a mentally exhausted state (lol), so I left it to the eccentric dad who is a fan of Kamen Rider. 2 men and 7 fabulous ladies gathered at a small shop on the 4th floor of a building on the southwest corner of Tenmabashi-suji and Tosabori-dori, City Mall Keihan Minami Side. The place was crowded, but each group had their own space. We chose the "all-you-can-drink, all-you-can-eat course" for 2800 yen. After eating what was served, we were free to order whatever we wanted for the 2-hour limit. Here are some of the dishes we had: Cabbage platter, Edamame, Pickled eggplant, Spicy cucumber pickles, French fries, Simmered seasoned egg, etc. Everything was normal and fine. The best dish was probably the cucumber. We also had Salted chicken cartilage, Fried chicken, Green onion chicken with sauce, Chicken meatball with sauce, Grilled pork belly with salt, Stuffed green peppers, Chicken and rice in a pot, etc. I'm not a fan of chicken, but the jumbo grilled chicken was tender with a good texture. However, the sauce was too sweet and salty. For drinks, we had Draft beer (Premium Malt's), Shandy Gaff, House red wine, Gin and tonic, Yamazaki highball, Jim Beam on the rocks, Sangria, etc. The drinks took a bit of time to arrive, but it was understandable. We accidentally went to a similar restaurant 200 meters away, but this one was more lively with local workers. With this number of people, the course menu was a good choice, and it added to the fun.

Recently, there is a popular 280 yen izakaya. I feel like I went to one in Sakai a long time ago... The yakitori is 280 yen for 2 skewers, so it's not that cheap, but they are big since they are called "jumbo". They taste okay. The kama meshi also looked delicious for 280 yen, but I couldn't try it because it takes time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively, more like a noisy izakaya filled with students and office workers. Unlike other 280 yen izakayas, where the beer may be small or low-malt beer, here they serve regular-sized medium-sized glasses (slightly small maybe). They also have large glasses (280 yen, so low-malt beer). I can understand why it's popular.

This is a fantastic yakitori restaurant with great cost performance. Everything you eat or drink is only 280 yen, which is very affordable. The thigh and breast yakitori are big and really good value. Personally, I like the salted breast yakitori, garlic flavored heart, and chicken karaage. You can choose medium size for draft beer (280 yen) or large size for light beer. It's great that there are no appetizers and no seating charge. The chain is expanding rapidly in Osaka, showing its popularity. One issue at the Temmabashi branch is that the staff's voices are too loud, making it hard to hear conversations. Due to the echoing structure of the building, the staff naturally have to speak loudly, which can strain your throat. While energetic staff are generally liked, in this particular restaurant, it would be better if they spoke in a softer voice.

Bird Izakaya is located inside a building, with a large sign shining brightly at the intersection corner, making it stand out. The staff at the Girls Bar near the entrance seem to be eyeing customers as they enter the elevator. Inside, the lively voices of the staff can be heard. I have never seen a dull moment at Bird Izakaya. I often meet up with friends here as it is conveniently located near their workplace. It is one of the few places in the area that stays open late, which is great. Of course, I always order cabbage before my beer (laughs). Cheers! The tables are spacious, which is a nice touch. My favorite is the yakitori here. As I was leaving, the staff saw me off and I could still hear their "Thank you" even as the elevator descended rapidly. Sometimes I go to this restaurant with my friends. They have a nice variety of dishes, so it's perfect for when we feel like eating out. We usually order a selection of yakitori and enjoy a salad appetizer in the meantime. They also have a good selection of drinks.
