The sesame mackerel was outstanding! The sesame paste was incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it to people from Kanto region. The yakitori was also top-notch. The Amakusa Daio was a bit pricey, but worth it for the taste. I enjoyed the heart, liver, and neck meat, and was delighted when they served chicken soup at the end of the meal. Everything was delicious. The bill was a bit high since we ordered a lot for our group dinner, but the satisfaction of the meal made it worth it in terms of value. I would definitely come back. I personally think that the quality of the tenderloin skewers reflects the level of the restaurant. The tenderloin skewers here were exceptional, with the flavor of the chicken brought out perfectly. Definitely worth a try. Also, I recommend trying the grilled shiitake mushrooms, they are cooked to perfection. The quality of the food here is great for the price. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I asked the chef to choose a few skewers for me, including some made with locally sourced chicken and pork belly from Itoshima. Overall, the skewers were all delicious. The chicken broth served at the end was also tasty. The service was attentive and friendly, giving a good impression for a second stop. Itadakimasu! Maybe I'll end the night with some ramen.

They had thorough COVID-19 measures in place, with proper alcohol disinfection. The interior of the yakitori restaurant was surprisingly beautiful. I tried dishes like Amakusa Daio's thigh meat, chicken with wasabi, liver, charcoal-grilled green onion, horse sashimi, and pork-wrapped eggplant with onions. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The green onion with rock salt brought out the flavor and sweetness of the onion. The grilled rice ball at the end was also delicious. The salad as a starter, assorted sashimi, grilled chicken skewers, and 2 beers cost around 4400 yen. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken skewers were also tasty, especially the liver which was rare and melted in the mouth. We visited around 6 pm so it was relatively quiet. I wanted to try the grilled pike conger, but they didn't have it that day. It seems like it's better to make a reservation here. They have wifi with a password.

It is a sister store of Tori in Kumamoto that I visited recently, so I was able to enter the store with confidence. Even though it's the same restaurant, the taste of the dishes was slightly different and enjoyable! The chicken with wasabi, chicken thigh, and tsukune were especially delicious. The chicken bone soup for the end was also delicious. When I return to Kumamoto, I will visit Tori (Tsugumi) Kumamoto store again. Thank you for the meal! We started with a toast with beer! The chopstick rest is nice (laughs). Looking at the menu, they offer three different courses and various a la carte options. This time, we chose the 10-skewer course for 2800 yen. First, we had a refreshing salad, followed by a sashimi platter with four types of fish, including bluefin tuna. The chicken sashimi was optional, and it was fresh with no dryness. They only serve fresh liver, which had no unpleasant smell. We also enjoyed chicken skin, pork belly from Itoshima, grated daikon for palate cleansing, Akaushi beef from Aso, chicken breast, chicken thigh, and vegetable rolls with taro. The taro was a bit filling towards the end. The foil-wrapped raw minced chicken skewers were juicy and delicious. They also have a wide selection of sake and wine.
