Tiger Ken @ Nanamichi Aeon The other day, I felt like eating tantanmen and went to Tiger Ken in Nanamichi Aeon. There are several types of tantanmen, but I ordered the white sesame tantanmen and fried rice set. It also came with almond jelly. I think this place is probably affiliated with Koutora-ken, as I had ordered black sesame before, so this time I tried white sesame. My son's favorite Genshin Impact is collaborating with an energy drink this time, so we gathered at AEON MALL. I went early to do some reconnaissance. Unfortunately, my son's favorite character, Yelan, was not there. I thought he would be disappointed, but I asked the staff anyway. They kindly checked the back yard and miraculously found that it was in stock, so I was able to buy it. It comes with a towel, so it seems like gym class will be more fun. It was a rare day without cram school, so we decided to have a meal together with my parents. He loves potatoes and rice. We chose this place because they have fried rice. Oh, I remember I had their coriander dumplings before and wanted to eat them again, but they are no longer available, which was disappointing. Let's have the jumbo dumplings instead. Oh, there are so many lunch-like sets even though it's night. The shrimp chili set includes fried rice, dumplings, oily chicken, soup, and almond jelly for only 1480 yen, which is too good of a deal.

Located on the 1st floor of Aeon in Teppomachi, "Tiger Ken" is situated in the restaurant area on the 1st floor. The store is somewhat small with about 8 tables. Spicy dishes seem to be popular here. Menu items include tantanmen, fried rice, and various side dishes. When ordering, you can choose from different types of tantanmen sets. The spicy tantanmen is quite hot. The fried rice in the set is well-seasoned and has a nice texture. The almond jelly dessert was also delicious. While the spiciness of the tantanmen was satisfying, the soup was lukewarm and the flavor was a bit weak aside from the heat. Thank you for the meal!

Seafood Five-Meat Soba for 1280 yen, Shanghai Sauce Yakisoba for 980 yen, 2 draft beers, fried rice, and gyoza. The soba had a strong sweetness and plenty of pepper added! The ramen had lots of delicious seafood and was a great meal for two people, costing around 5500 yen, which is a bit pricey. It was a bit disappointing that the gyoza came out last, but overall, we were satisfied with the luxurious Chinese meal we had! Thank you for the meal.

When I first went there, I was attracted to the Sanratan so I went back for the third time. Even though I tried making it myself, I couldn't achieve the same creamy texture as theirs, and the other dishes were a bit lacking. Also, it's a bit on the expensive side, even for the lunch set. When you think of Taiga-ken, you think of their Sanratan - not too sour, slightly spicy, and very filling.

I ordered a set of mapo tofu rice bowl and half ramen. The ramen was average, like Chinese noodles. The mapo tofu rice bowl had a spicy mark next to it, but I was unsure. It turned out to be very spicy! It was just spicy, couldn't really taste the flavor. Maybe it's delicious if you like spicy food? It wasn't to my taste. The dumplings were also average. It was difficult for them to accommodate my shrimp allergy, but the staff's response was polite. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating Tianjin rice♪ After watching a TV special on Tianjin rice, I really wanted to eat it. The gentle sauce and fluffy egg were delicious~ Shared with my husband and son: Scallion Egg Fried Rice 858 yen, Tianjin rice 968 yen, Classic Sweet and Sour Pork 1045 yen, Addictive Gyoza 12 pieces 924 yen, Oil-drizzled Chicken 1078 yen. The sweet and sour pork had a flavor that I really liked, with a ketchup-like taste that was delicious! It's nice to try out new menu items occasionally♪

Dinner tonight, feeling like Chinese food! Both my son and husband finish work early, let's go eat at the mall! I love shrimp! When I crave shrimp chili, I come to this restaurant. Shrimp chili set - 1628 yen, Tianjin rice - 968 yen, Addictive dumplings (12 pieces) - 924 yen, Black tantan noodles & fried rice set - 1298 yen. 5% off on the 20th and 30th of the month!

We went out to eat as a family, and I brought my husband's younger brother along because he had never been to this restaurant before. Since there were four adults, we ordered dishes individually. We got three types of dumplings - spicy dumplings, dumplings with ponzu sauce, and pan-fried dumplings. We also ordered mixed fried rice, Tianjin-style rice, fried chicken, spring rolls, and stir-fried pork with mushrooms and eggs. My husband's brother ordered the Tianjin-style rice set with ramen... it was a lot of food! We shared and enjoyed everything. We were all so full! Haha. The total bill for four people was 7000 yen, and it was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Today's lunch, my husband was in the mood for Chinese food. We ordered the Shrimp Chili Set for 1628 yen, which includes fried rice, shrimp chili, soup, dumplings, General Tso's chicken, and almond tofu. He always ends up choosing this set because he loves the shrimp chili. When our family of three goes out, we order a few dishes to share and enjoy together.

In August of the 3rd year of Reiwa, there is a weekly changing lunch set available only on weekdays during lunchtime (11:00-17:00) called the Marla Ramen and Half Fried Rice Set for 902 yen. On the 20th and 30th of each month, it is Customer Appreciation Day, so if you use an AEON card, you can get a 5% discount on the regular price, making it 857 yen. The Marla ramen is quite spicy but delicious. It's a great value for money and a delicious set.

A late lunch before 2 o'clock. My husband wanted something spicy. He had Mapo rice bowl for 1012 yen, and I had Five-flavor Ankake Yakisoba for 1188 yen. We also ordered 6 large dumplings for 968 yen. Everything was delicious! It's been a while since I had large dumplings, but regular ones would have been fine too. My husband found the spiciness of the Sichuan pepper too much to handle... he was sweating. We're going for sweet drinks after this.

I entered the store on a Sunday afternoon thinking that it might appeal to everyone as it is located in a shopping mall. I ordered tantanmen and fried rice set, choosing black sesame tantanmen. My partner ordered mapo rice and half ramen set. We also ordered addictive gyoza. While eating the tantanmen, I couldn't stop sweating because of the spiciness. The spiciness is accompanied by a strong taste of black sesame and sesame paste. The fried rice was quite ordinary, neither delicious nor bad, just average. The mapo rice was spicy, similar to a spicy version of the mapo tofu sold in stores. It was spicy but lacked depth in flavor. The mini ramen that came with the half ramen set was surprisingly delicious, with a good soy sauce flavor. The gyoza had a mild garlic flavor. I usually don't like gyoza with mild garlic, but these were easy to eat and tasty. It's rare for me to find delicious gyoza with mild garlic, so I recommend it. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this Chinese restaurant for lunch on a regular day. It is located in Aeon Mall in Teppōchō. I forgot to take photos, but I ordered the combo set of stir-fried bell peppers and thinly sliced pork for 980 yen (excluding tax), a set of draft beer and dumplings for 680 yen (excluding tax), and a large dumpling for 590 yen (excluding tax). We shared the dumplings between two people. The combo set includes oil-drizzled chicken, rice, and soup. There were many other lunch sets available, making the menu quite extensive. Despite it being a chain restaurant affiliated with Kōkō Gyoza-ya, I didn't have high expectations. However, the stir-fried bell peppers and pork were delicious - the bell peppers were crunchy and well-seasoned, and both the oil-drizzled chicken and dumplings were much tastier than expected. The large dumpling, in particular, was amazing! It was full of filling and had a delicious flavor, much better than regular-sized dumplings. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I would like to visit this Chinese restaurant again soon.

This is a shop located inside a nearby Aeon that I sometimes crave. This time, I ordered: - Five-ingredient thick miso ramen - Half-fried rice - Addictive dumplings The dumplings here are delicious with juicy meat juices, so they are a must-try. The thick miso ramen was also delicious with plenty of ingredients. Thank you for the meal.

Tiger Ken [Osaka Sakai]...Located inside the Aeon Mall in Sakai! I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but there are quite a lot of options to choose from! On this day, I had the tantanmen which was delicious, but there are many other menu items to choose from including set meals. It's a great place to eat among the many options available! Today I visited "Aeon Mall Sakai Tetsuhama-cho". Despite the continuing intense heat, I decided to look for a lunch spot at the shopping center. I chose the Chinese restaurant "Tigerken" on the first floor. I originally intended to have cold Chinese noodles, but I switched to the "Cold Black Sesame Tan Tan Men" for the same price. The toppings included cucumber, kaiware, bean sprouts, and minced meat, with black sesame and nuts sprinkled on top. The staff warned me that it was spicy, but I didn't find it too hot at first. However, I soon started sweating. The power of spices is truly remarkable. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I hadn't heard of "Tigerken" much before, but it turns out it's part of the Saison Group, which includes "Benihana". I walked the path with dedication, enjoyed the meal, and have no regrets.

I visited during the Obon holiday for lunch. It was full, so I had to wait a bit, but I was seated eventually. I couldn't decide between the fried noodles and the rice, but since I was hungry, I went with the "Spicy Dan Dan Noodles" set with half fried rice. There was an even spicier version of the noodles available, but it wasn't included in the set menu. When the dish arrived, the scent of Sichuan pepper hit me first. The spicy oil was stronger than the sesame. "It's so spicy!" It was so spicy that I couldn't even taste the flavor! The fried rice was average. I decided to skip the even spicier Dan Dan noodles (lol).

On this day, my family went shopping at AEON Mall. For lunch, we ate at Tiger Ken in the restaurant area. Tiger Ken is part of the Benitora Gyoza chain. The dumplings are delicious, so they are a must-try. On this day, I ordered the chilled black sesame tantan noodles from the summer menu, my wife ordered the ramen & fried rice set, and our child ordered the set with ankake-style five-ingredient yakisoba. We shared our meals as a family. The chilled black sesame tantan noodles had a tangy and spicy sauce with vinegar, so I was expecting a soup-less tantanmen, but it was more like tantanmen-style chilled Chinese noodles. The punch of black sesame was strong and it was quite delicious.
