"Affordable and delicious 'Sakado Daikichi' has a small and crowded counter seat, but freshly fried kushikatsu with beer is the best!! It may take a little time for the food to come out during busy hours, but the staff efficiently navigate and manage the restaurant, which is always impressive."

For a solo drinking trip, the first stop is Daikichi-san! They offer draft beer for 300 yen and chu-hai for 290 yen, which is quite cheap! The food is also great value for money, but the top recommendation is the croquettes. The freshly fried croquettes are crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. They are so deliciously sweet that you can have as many as you want! Thank you for the meal!

It's about halfway between Namba and Nihonbashi in terms of distance. I was drawn to the storefront of Sakaba Daikichi in Dotonbori. The variety of snacks is abundant, and it's a cheap place to drink. It's more like a sample case than a storefront. The wide range of menu items can accommodate any drinker. I want to eat ham and eggs. I'm torn between grilled squid or grilled cabbage. I walked in and was guided to the counter after announcing that I was alone. I got a barley shochu on the rocks and decided to order nuta. It's octopus, mixed well with leeks, miso, and grilled. It's irresistible to pour miso with shochu. I noticed horse sashimi on the menu and decided to order it. I don't usually order it when I'm alone. It's good with garlic. The tender horse sashimi had a light red meat with the accent of garlic. When the ham and eggs arrived, there was plenty of ham and eggs. The white part covering the yolk is just right when it turns white. The yolk flows out, and it's good to eat it mixed with mayonnaise and ham. The mayonnaise is good. The acidity emphasizes the richness of the yolk. The croquette was pleasantly soft. Of course, it was freshly fried. I ordered the Kansai horse mackerel open for less than one coin. It was small, but the amount of fat and the deliciousness of the meat were decent. After eating the croquette, I wanted something fried. I ordered three skewers of deep-fried foods: sausage, quail, and beef. The sauce has a rich flavor that goes well with sake. Reflecting on the day, I was digesting the impressions of the exhibition I saw at noon. I don't remember much, but when I looked at it the next morning, it had become a neat note. It's such a cheap place to drink, with a variety of snacks, and Osaka is really great after all.

Namba Morning Drinking Tour ends at Daikichi-san. I arrived at around 1:30 pm and the place was quite crowded. I started with a plain chu-hai for 290 yen and doteyaki for 250 yen. The doteyaki, a specialty dish, had tender meat that melted in your mouth, it was incredibly delicious. I sprinkled some shichimi spice for added flavor. Then I ordered pork belly for 120 yen, beef for 120 yen, and shiitake mushrooms for 100 yen. I had a highball for my drink refill. I was already quite full, so I finished off with this. The total bill came to 1,260 yen. Namba solo drinking tour was a great experience.

Having a daytime drink with my daughter in Osaka, we visited the 5th spot, Sakaba Daikichi! We toasted with their Bacchus Chu-Hai and Red Ball Punch Chu-Hai! The cabbage yakisoba (just the cabbage from okonomiyaki) was simple yet delicious! The kushikatsu was also incredibly tasty! I want to come back here for the cabbage yakisoba and kushikatsu again! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I visited this shop for the first time at Aioibashi-suji Shotengai, which is open 24 hours. The alcohol is cheap, the kushikatsu is delicious, and it's a great value for money. There is a wide variety of kushikatsu, and the red wiener and potato fries have a nostalgic taste. Especially, the meat tofu is extremely delicious. It's a fun place with an old-fashioned pub atmosphere.

The biggest feature of this restaurant is definitely its cost performance. It's incredibly cheap. Highball for 290 yen, draft beer for 300 yen, and most dishes are around 300 yen each. Various types of kushikatsu are around 100 yen each, so you can have 2-3 drinks, 1-2 dishes, and around 10 pieces of kushikatsu for about 2,000 yen. It's amazing. Everything was delicious, but the shiitake mushrooms, lotus root, and the easy-to-eat size of the squid were particularly tasty. Also, the grilled squid was delicious.

At "Sakaba Daikichi Dotonbori Store" in Dotonbori, Soaihashi-suji Shopping Street, they offer a lunch-only time. This izakaya is open 24 hours and has counter and table seats, welcoming solo customers as well. We started with a Red Ginger Shochu Highball for a toast - it's sweet and delicious. The shochu highball has red ginger juice added, not the usual pickled ginger, and it's always a bit too sweet but I keep ordering it anyway. There's a no double-dipping sauce on the table, and the menu is quite extensive, focusing on kushikatsu dishes. Kushikatsu starts at 80 yen per skewer, and side dishes range from 180 yen (croquette is 100 yen each), so it's very affordable. The dishes we tried were:
- Seseri Ponzu (300 yen)
- Pork and Bean Sprout Ponzu (330 yen)
- Niku Dofu (400 yen)
- Peperon Nanohana (320 yen)
- Cabbage Yaki (300 yen)
- Garlic Kushikatsu x2 (120 yen each)
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The alcohol selection is also very affordable, with shochu starting at 250 yen. The service may not be the best, but it's acceptable considering the prices. If you're looking for a casual place to drink, this is definitely worth a visit. Thank you for the meal!

When it comes to kushikatsu in Dotonbori, Daruma is the popular choice, but it's always crowded with tourists, so it can take a while to get a quick bite alone. While exploring Dotonbori, I found a place with a nice storefront offering cheap draft beer for 300 yen and kushikatsu for 120 yen each, including octopus and squid. The batter was light and crispy, which I preferred over Daruma, and I could easily eat as many skewers as I wanted. Red pickled ginger goes really well with alcohol in Osaka. However, to maintain these prices, I noticed that they only had one person in the kitchen and one person in the hall, so the service was a bit slow. I appreciate the effort they are making to keep prices low in this era of weak yen. I will definitely stop by again next time I visit Osaka.

I'm not good with izakayas so I never go to them, but I was dragged here against my will! We sat at the counter right away and the seats were cramped, with people smoking around us making me feel uneasy. The customers were of all ages and nationalities, creating a lively atmosphere. While they didn't have a wide selection of drinks, the food was great with a variety of dishes and good freshness. Everything was delicious except for the bamboo shoot sauce! The hot and crispy skewers were juicy and cheap, allowing me to eat a lot. I don't want to come back again, but I can see why some people would enjoy it.

I had been curious about this place for a while and finally made my first visit. I thought it might be a place full of older men, but there were also many young people. I visited alone around 1 pm on Saturday, and all the seats at the counter were taken, so I had to wait outside for a bit before being seated at a table for two. They were showing horse racing on TV, so maybe it is a place for older men after all! The posters on the walls gave off a nostalgic Showa era vibe, but it was cozy inside. The drinks were cheap, and the food was also inexpensive but delicious.

For the second stop of our Osaka food adventure, we came here to eat kushikatsu. The streets of Dotonbori were packed with people on this day. It took a while to finally get into Daikichi-san's place. Once inside, we were overwhelmed by the variety of menu options. And it seems like they are open 24 hours? The staff's T-shirts had a logo indicating 24-hour service. Customers kept coming in one after another, with some being turned away or asked to wait in line. Well, we also wanted to experience the famous Osaka rule of no double dipping. We really felt the Osaka vibe here. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Fujichan went bar hopping in Kyoto until morning, then took the Shinkansen to Osaka. It might be harder to relax on days off. When we arrived, it was already past 10 pm, so we just went with the flow for the next place, walking around quite a bit. We arrived at this place after 11 pm. It's really cheap here. They serve food early. The taste is decent. It cost a little over 6000 yen for 3 people. If this place was in my local area, I would definitely go here often.

On a regular day after 5 PM, I managed to slide into the last available seat and was safe! However, one by one, more customers arrived but couldn't enter because the place was full, so they left looking disappointed.

There were no standout dishes (sorry), but the menu is extensive and all dishes are satisfying. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, including the alcoholic drinks! It's fun to try various dishes in small portions. It's also easy to drop by for a casual drink. Some customers commented during payment, saying "It's so cheap!" or "I ate this much and it's only this price!?" Some even thanked the staff before leaving. The sense of value and convenience of this place attracts many customers!@( ´ ● ` )@

I gave up on the meat udon restaurant I wanted to go to because there was a long line. Now, where should I eat? I'm a lunch refugee! I passed by a cozy bar with hanging lanterns. The menu has a variety of dishes that I want to try! The interior is just as inviting as I imagined. The menu is posted all over the wall! I want to try everything! First, a draft beer! The potato salad, pork cutlet skewers, ham and egg, meat tofu, and doteyaki... The potato salad is flavorful and delicious. The pork cutlet skewers are also very tasty! Dip them generously in the sauce... delicious! The sauce is amazing! The ham and egg is full of mayonnaise! Everyone loves this. The doteyaki is sweet and delicious! The meat tofu was different than I expected - more like a sweet and sour taste, not like sukiyaki as I thought. But the lively and relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy. No matter what you eat, there's no disappointment. It's reliably delicious! ♪♪

Visited "Daikichi Dotonbori" alone. Grilled saury with salt 390 yen, pork kimchi 380 yen, hot tofu 200 yen, tempura fried fish cake 250 yen, sudachi cold sake 300 yen, hearty cold sake 390 yen x2, lime chu-hi 290 yen. A reasonably priced izakaya. The service is a bit lacking, but tolerable. Note that a late-night surcharge of 10% is applied from 10 pm to 5 am. Still, good value for money.

Yes, this month I have been quite free, xxxku here ((((;゚Д゚))))))) I'm waiting for invitations for day drinking and night drinking (lol). I was in Nihonbashi for some errands. Since I've been drinking a lot, I can't eat a heavy lunch \(//∇//)\ I visited Sakaba Daikichi in Dotonbori. I was drinking quite a bit in Minami, but I can't remember the names of the streets there ((((;゚Д゚))))))) There are no special set menus, but it's cheap. What I ordered: - Draft beer - Specialty "doteyaki" - Additional rolled omelette - Highball - Skewers (offal, lotus root) Around 1,500 yen. First, I'll quench my dry throat with a draft beer! The doteyaki arrived... a well-stewed doteyaki... yes, it goes well with beer! The rolled omelette arrived... perfectly cooked rolled omelette, the broth is unknown but it's delicious. I added a highball, with Black Nikka... Black Nikka, because it's cheap (lol). I also added skewers of offal, lotus root. The offal... crispy fried intestines, a delicious dish. It's impossible for it to be bad! I've been into lotus root skewers lately, and they are simply delicious. It may be difficult to have a complete meal just at this place, but it's a good spot for a quick drink for the 1st or 3rd round. Thank you for the meal.

This is a 24-hour izakaya that is very cheap. The kushikatsu starts at ¥80, and draft beer is ¥300! Despite the low prices, the taste is actually quite good. It's a great place for a casual drink. Thank you for the meal!

A little while ago during the pandemic, the area around Senbayashi was like a ghost town at night, but there were a few shops near Aioi Bridge. Well, when you're hungry, you have to eat. I was happy to see food samples here. They seem to have confidence in their kushikatsu, it's an izakaya where anything goes. At night, it's a hangout spot for new host-like guys, they're chatting passionately here. It feels packed in here. They're usually open 24 hours. Everyone just wants a place to belong. It felt really cheap. How many seats are there? They have staff, but the owner is basically running the show alone. Amazing!!

Hello everyone, thank you for your hard work today. I was working on a holiday after a long time, so I'm looking forward to finishing quickly, going to the gym, sweating it out, and then drinking beer while watching the World Cup.
In December, for the New Year's holidays, I spent the first night in Osaka. I have a plan to spend most of the time with my friend "Kuwa" who lives in Osaka and whom I had a great time with in Nagasaki last summer. We are going to Osaka and Kyoto to wash away all the bad luck of this year.
Today, after finishing work, I arrived in Namba, Osaka, around 10 pm. I had a hard time finding my hotel, walking around for about 40 minutes, and finally arriving all sweaty. After taking a shower, I went out for a drink alone in Dotonbori. I ended up at a place called "Sakaba Daikichi" where the prices were cheap and the food was delicious. I had some beers, shochu, Chinese cucumber, croquette, dumplings, kushikatsu, and more. The atmosphere was great, and the Osaka dialect I heard after a long time was comforting. The bill was surprisingly cheap, and I left the place feeling satisfied. It was a great start for my trip in Osaka. Thank you for the meal!
