I came all the way to Shinjuku even though there is a RF1 showcase in Omiya. I forgot that there is one in Omiya and ended up buying here. I got a 200g roast beef and side dish set with shrimp mayo. You can choose the side dish for the roast beef set. The roast beef is delicious, probably tastier than eel. Maybe I can't appreciate the sweetness of eel sauce. The roast beef is tastier despite being more expensive than usual. The large shrimp mayo in the side dish set is so plump. Shared it with my child.

I found some unique and stylish deli dishes in the Chinese section at the Takashimaya food floor, even though I had a traditional Japanese image of Kakiyasu. Today, I decided to choose four items for ¥2901 as part of the sale. The choices were:
- Fried chicken: It looks basic but has a strong flavor that even adults can enjoy, not just for kids.
- Carpaccio: My favorite of the day, with white fish topped with shredded daikon and mizuna.
- Large shrimp with mayonnaise: A substantial dish with plump shrimp, although I'm not a fan of the orange garnish on top.
- Shrimp chili: The shrimp is juicy and flavorful, with a slightly sweet seasoning. It's reasonably priced for a department store deli dish and has a good taste.

[Visit on May 14, 2019] Location: Located in the basement of Shinjuku Takashimaya. Visited around 3:30 pm on a weekday, so it was understandably not crowded. Since I was in Shinjuku, I decided to get dinner. There were many attractive side dishes lined up. I bought a green onion and sweet and sour fried chicken bento for 518 yen. Despite the time, it was 20% off. It was my first time having fried chicken in a while. I've been trying to eat healthy lately, so I felt a bit guilty about having fried food, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
