Enjoyed lunch and tea, truly had a blast! During the stroll, I couldn't resist trying the "Gold Medal Croquette"! I bought the "Hand-ground Beef Curry Bread" for 300 yen. Gold Medal Croquette shops are everywhere, but are they a chain? It doesn't really seem like it. It just means there are many croquette competitions around. Anyway, the curry bread here is really delicious! They start frying after you order, so you have to wait around 10 minutes... But on the flip side, it means you can always have freshly fried bread. The menu includes beef croquette, whale croquette, whale cutlet, and fried dumplings. You can get a 50 yen discount when ordering with draft beer, chuhai, highball, or non-alcoholic cocktails. This time, I purchased the beef croquette (200 yen). The beef croquette, an award-winning masterpiece at the National Handmade Croquette Contest, is in the shape of an oval coin.
