Umeda, Tonsho✨ Located in Dojima, this restaurant specializes in pork shabu-shabu. It has multiple locations in the Kansai region. This time, I visited on a weekday evening and ordered the "Tsuki Course with All-You-Can-Drink" (5500 yen). The course included: - Sashimi of sea bream - Fillet cutlet with homemade moon-viewing ponzu sauce - Pork belly and cabbage mille-feuille steamed in a bamboo steamer - Pork shabu-shabu with dashi broth - Tokushima-made half-cut noodles as the finishing touch - Seasonal sorbet The sashimi as the first dish was a pleasant surprise for me. I enjoyed it with wasabi and salt, and it went perfectly with a few glasses of beer. The fillet cutlet was delicious on its own, but even better when dipped in the moon-viewing sauce. The pork belly and cabbage mille-feuille was a unique dish that surprised me with its grapefruit topping, which surprisingly complemented the flavors well. The main dish, pork shabu-shabu, came with pork belly, loin, tsukune, and plenty of vegetables in a basic dashi broth. The meat was perfectly cooked, slightly pink, and delicious with or without the ponzu sauce. The meal ended with the Tokushima-made half-cut noodles, which I enjoyed soaking up the remaining broth. The restaurant offers a luxurious atmosphere with private rooms, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The dishes, from sashimi to meat dishes, shabu-shabu, finishing touch, and dessert, were all satisfying, and with the all-you-can-drink option, it offers good value for money. It's a versatile restaurant suitable for various occasions, such as business meetings or private gatherings. Check it out! ✨

I came here about 5-6 years ago. I felt like having hot pot for lunch, so I decided to visit. Each table has partitions, but it's not exactly a private room. It's a spacious place, so it's quite relaxing. I had the 1500 yen pork shabu-shabu set. The dashi broth with kelp was delicious. The rest of the meal was decent for the price. Well, you can't really go wrong with pork shabu-shabu. During lunchtime, they also offer tonkatsu and other options, but if you're eating here, I'd recommend sticking with the pork shabu-shabu. The place was empty, but the service staff, probably part-time, was very business-like and not very friendly. It made me a bit nervous, haha.

I always hesitate between ordering the Hella Cutlet and the Steamed Basket, but end up choosing the Steamed Basket. This time, I debated between the daily cold shabu-shabu and the steamed basket, and went with the steamed basket. I enjoyed cabbage and pork with ponzu sauce. Even on a hot summer day, it was refreshing and restored my appetite. The Hella Cutlet (2 slices) was just right, juicy and delicious when dipped in salt. The only downside is that the restaurant is located underground, so the signal is weak and it's difficult to add LINE friends (lol).

I have visited this place for lunch a few times. After 12 o'clock, it gets crowded as it's the lunchtime for the office area, so the turnover is fast. They offer limited quantities of steamed dishes, and I ordered the pork belly and cabbage mille-feuille steamed dish. It comes with a pork cutlet, rice, miso soup, and pickles. If you register on LINE, you can get a discount. With the registration, the meal costs 1,200 yen. It's a great deal with a satisfying portion size.

This time, we chose a course with all-you-can-drink option. It included Thai sashimi, pork cutlet, steamed food in a bamboo steamer, and shabu-shabu... The all-you-can-drink menu had beer, sake, shochu, and soft drinks among others. I was quite full and very satisfied. It was delicious.

Popular restaurants in Kitashinchi and Dojima✨ From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are enveloped in the aroma of dashi broth, making you think "this is delicious"☺️ They have private rooms and semi-private rooms where you can enjoy your meal slowly, and it's surprisingly affordable. The sashimi of sea bream is delicious and thick, with a pink hue in the middle. The tonkatsu is packed with pork flavor, and the mil-fue of Chinese cabbage steamed in dashi broth is delicious. The pork shabu-shabu is also too delicious. The half-tanmen noodles at the end were also delicious, soaking up the tasty dashi broth. A restaurant I want to visit again✨

The course menu for the day was as follows: - Sashimi of sea bream - Special fillet cutlet with homemade sweet and sour sauce - Steamed pork belly and spring vegetables - Shabu-shabu platter of Kiriishiyama pork and clams with vegetables - Finale of Tokushima-made half-fine noodles - Seasonal gelato We started with a toast with draft beer! Super Dry is delicious. The fillet cutlet looked authentic but was a bit lacking. On the other hand, the shabu-shabu with clam broth was delicious. The private room was nice, and the staff were friendly, so even though the seating was limited to 120 minutes (order for 90 minutes), it didn't feel too strict. Overall, with all-you-can-drink included, the total price of 5000 yen leaves no room for complaints. Thank you for the meal.

The yuzu shabu-shabu was delicious. The noodles at the end were also tasty and filling. The dressing for the steamed shabu-shabu was amazing. The tonkatsu with generous portions was perfectly fried and delicious. It went well with salt. The prices were reasonable. The additional charges for extra vegetables, tofu, and a la carte items were a bit high. Overall, it was great. The restaurant was also clean.

If you're friends on LINE, you get a 100 yen discount on the Milfeuille steamed set meal. I ordered it for 1200 yen, and it came with two pork cutlets. In February, they also included boiled komatsuna as a bonus. The rice portion was a bit small, but you can ask for seconds. Even if you're dining alone, you can enjoy a relaxed meal in a semi-private room. I will definitely go back again.

Tonkatsu Dojima-tei. There were available seats. ・Kirimijima-yama Rokuroku Pork Shabu-shabu Set Meal (1,500 yen) Wrap the pork with leeks and enjoy it. The broth is already super delicious, and when you add yuzu pepper and sesame to enhance the flavor, it becomes even more delicious! The rice is also chewy and delicious! A must-try for pork lovers.

Today, my morning meeting ran long and I didn't have time to go buy lunch, so I decided to eat out. I didn't have a particular place in mind, but I was drawn to a restaurant with a menu outside. I arrived around 12:30 and was seated immediately, although I was alone, I was guided to a private room at a four-person table. I decided to order the pork cutlet, and although the recommended flavor was "tsukimi ponzu," I opted for the Osaka Hermes sauce that I had heard about. The pork cutlet arrived promptly, with a crispy coating of fine breadcrumbs. While there has been a rise in the popularity of the "white" pork cutlet cooked at a low temperature, I still love the traditional crispy fried version. The meat was tender and not overly sweet. The highlight was the Hermes sauce, served in a small cup. It had a sweet and addictive flavor. The set meal came with the pork cutlet, rice, miso soup, cabbage, and pickles. The rice was served in a cylindrical container, which was a bit difficult to handle. I prefer it in a regular bowl. Rice refills were available.

I've been slacking off on posting a bit. Sorry about that... There's a place near my workplace called Butchers Dojima-tei. It's a pork cutlet restaurant. It's a relatively new place, but it gets crowded during lunchtime because of its great cost performance. My recommendation is the pork tenderloin cutlet. It's very generous in portion size and has plenty of pork flavor. The pink color inside is exquisite. And all this for just 1000 yen... I worry about whether they're making a profit. The sauce options are Osaka local Hermes or Tsukimi ponzu. I always go for the Hermes. The fruity sweetness goes perfectly with the tenderloin! Ah, I'll definitely come back soon to eat here again. Thank you for the meal♪

"Pork Master / Kitahama" is a perfect restaurant for year-end parties, located a 5-minute walk from Osaka Kitahama Station. The recommended year-end party course is ¥5,500 per person, including all-you-can-drink. The course includes yellowtail sashimi, fillet cutlet with homemade sweet vinegar sauce, layered steamed pork belly and napa cabbage, pork shabu-shabu with assorted meats, seasonal vegetables, tsukune, and tofu, followed by Tokushima-made half-cut noodles and seasonal gelato (yuzu sherbet). The restaurant offers a 90-minute all-you-can-drink option, and the course is a great value with generous portions. The private rooms provide a relaxing dining experience, and the speed of service was excellent. Whether dining with a small group or hosting a company party, this restaurant is a great choice. With multiple locations including Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, it is easily accessible. Overall, it is a perfect restaurant for the upcoming season. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

♪Together with you, let's eat tonkatsu~♪ (Sung by: Morishige Hisaya) It's really difficult to find a place for Saturday lunch around here since many places are closed. However, "Butasho" is open and when you go downstairs, you can enjoy your meal in a private room! The jazz music might be a bit too loud though. The pork cutlet lunch set is 950 yen including tax. The pork cutlet is big and crispy, and tastes delicious dipped in Osaka sauce! It seems to be a lean type with less fat. The generous amount of cabbage is also nice. The miso soup and pickles that come with the set make it a satisfying and reasonably priced lunch.

My favorite tonkatsu place is "Butasho Dojima-tei," which fulfills the three criteria of "crispy coating," "tender pork loin," and "tamago ponzu sauce." This place is located in the Kitahama area and is currently the only tonkatsu restaurant that meets my criteria, as other places in Hommachi and Yotsubashi have closed due to the pandemic. While there are higher-end Michelin-starred options available, this chain restaurant is affordable and consistently satisfying for everyday dining. The menu includes options like Mille-Feuille Tonkatsu, Fillet Katsu, Loin Tonkatsu, Demi-Glace Loin Tonkatsu, and more. The tonkatsu is served hot and fresh, with a perfect size and thickness, a crispy coating, and a hint of pink in the tender pork loin. The combination of the crispy coating, tender meat, and tamago ponzu sauce is delightful. The experience of dipping the tonkatsu in the sauce and enjoying it with rice is pure bliss. The unlimited rice refills make it a truly satisfying meal. Overall, dining at Butasho Dojima-tei is a happy and fulfilling experience.

The shop is clean and has private rooms. The pork shabu-shabu has been upgraded in quality, and the broth was very delicious. All the staff were excellent. I always check this place on my way to work and today I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was very tender and tasty. The miso soup was full of ingredients, and the dressing on the cabbage, maybe with garlic, was also delicious.

★Revisited in June 19'6★ Still delicious... This time it was a small gathering so we couldn't try the steamed seiro like we wanted, but the pork tenderloin cutlet with ponzu sauce was incredibly delicious! The crispy coating and juicy thick cutlet were irresistible. The pork shabu-shabu with plenty of vegetables and meat had everyone enjoying it, even those who had stopped drinking were praising the meat. Personally, I could keep eating the vegetables and meat without needing noodles! ★First visit in January 19'1★ On a night for a small treat, with a mix of young and older guests, we wanted something healthy but filling, and we found it at "Butashabu Seiro-mushi Butakyo Dojima-tei". The winter sashimi platter was fresh and delicious, the pork tenderloin cutlet with ponzu sauce was a hit, and the Kagoshima pork and cabbage mille-feuille steamed dish was tender and tasty. The Gunma pork shabu-shabu with special broth and Tokushima half-thick noodles with plenty of vegetables made for a satisfying meal. The seasonal yuzu gelato was intensely flavorful. Overall, we were very satisfied with the food and the calm atmosphere, despite some noisy guests in the back.

Dotonbori has nothing but delicious restaurants, so let's have pork shabu-shabu for lunch at the end of the year! This place offers a special lunch course for 3000 yen with a private room. The course includes a selection of one drink, 3 kinds of appetizers, steamed pork and cabbage, Kagoshima pork shabu-shabu, Tokushima handmade noodles, and yuzu sherbet. The appetizers really set the mood, and the sashimi, rare cutlet, and roast beef are all delicious. The steamed pork and cabbage with ponzu sauce is simple but incredibly tasty. The shabu-shabu with two types of pork - loin and belly - is also very satisfying. The handmade noodles at the end are a nice touch, and the yuzu sherbet is a refreshing way to end the meal. I am full and happy - pork never disappoints! Thank you for the feast!
