The restaurant is located right by the north exit of Higashi-Mikuni Station on the Osaka Metro. My wife and I entered at 7:00 PM on a weekday. The restaurant has about 50 seats, including counter seats, table seats, and semi-private rooms. We dined in a semi-private room and our total order came to 6,292 yen. With T-point usage, the bill came to 5,072 yen. For lunch, they offer set meals, and in the evening, it's more of an izakaya style. The lunch menu is displayed on the outdoor sign, and the udon caught my eye because it's cold outside. Inside, there is a counter in the middle surrounded by tables. I ordered the Dashimaki Set Meal for 850 yen, which was one of the quicker options on the menu. It was really fast, haha. The meal included rice, miso soup, a small side dish of hijiki, and pickles. The main dish, the dashimaki, was a large size and fluffy because it was freshly grilled. I enjoyed it with grated daikon radish, soy sauce, and changed the flavor as I ate. The plate also came with a salad and potato salad. Looking at it, it seems quite healthy, right? The rice was delicious, cooked just the way I like it, and there were many options. It didn't seem very crowded on this day. I had visited the previous store a few times. I thought it had closed down, but it had actually transformed into a slightly upscale restaurant with a completely different atmosphere. The lunch menu had become a bit more expensive, and I didn't feel the same cost performance as before. Today we have 3 people, so we ordered a lot of dishes! ● Seafood natto (480 yen) Mix it well. Tuna goes well with natto, right? The addition of egg yolk thickens the texture. ● Fried salmon (380 yen) Crispy and freshly fried! The skewers (chicken liver, gizzard, and heart) were simple but tasty. The grilled salted fish collar was the highlight of the night, with crispy skin and juicy meat. The pork belly was delicious but I wish there was more filling. The deep-fried fish cakes were too thin and oily for my liking. The spicy rice cakes were good, with a nice balance of sweet and spicy flavors. I ended up eating a lot and drinking a lot of beer, then continued to eat chicken nuggets from McDonald's and a melon bread from the convenience store. Needless to say, my stomach was not happy afterwards.

Before payday, we went out for drinks, trying to save money. It happened to be 280 yen all-you-can-drink day, so we had to go! We were seated in a private room and started with draft beer and gin and soda for only 280 yen each. We enjoyed our drinks with some delicious appetizers. The grilled salmon belly was especially tasty, and the seafood yukhoe was a luxurious treat. The thick-cut grilled beef tongue was surprisingly flavorful for the price. We also enjoyed the seafood natto dish and the flexibility of the staff when we asked for an extra glass. Overall, a great restaurant that we will definitely visit again when they have their 280 yen specials!

In the past, I was able to visit a private room at a company drinking party. There were private rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, with traditional Japanese tatami rooms that had an old-fashioned atmosphere. Although we didn't end up using it due to the number of people, today is the 25th anniversary and they had highballs for 25 yen! I had to go! The food selection was quite extensive. There were seasonal ingredients, and the grilled Manjushage chili peppers were very delicious. It was fun to grill the eihire ourselves. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying. I finally got a chance to visit this restaurant after it opened, and it wasn't too crowded even after 7 pm, probably because it was a weekday. We ordered a sashimi platter with 5 kinds of fish, fried chicken, seafood salad, and beer. The sashimi portion was bigger than expected, and the fried chicken was delicious with a generous portion. However, the grilled fish was only half a portion. The dishes were tasty and the service was excellent, with a very pleasant atmosphere. The only downside was the cost, which seemed a bit high. I visited the restaurant. I used to frequent the previous location at night, but this was my first visit since it was renovated due to the building reconstruction. The size of the shop is now about half of what it used to be, and the interior has changed to a stylish setting like a traditional Japanese restaurant. The lunch menu no longer has that casual feel it used to, and this time I had the pork cutlet set which was thick and delicious. However, in terms of cost performance... I would like to visit at night next time.

Visited after a long time on January 10th. Ordered the course meal with kue and added sashimi. The fried kue was amazing! It was different from other places. Of course, the hot pot and sashimi were delicious too. They had a variety of drinks, making it an exciting and enjoyable time.

What's more, this was the first time meeting Myレビ friend in person for all of us! One person was running late, so three of us gathered at 6 pm and entered the restaurant. Even though I frequently exchange messages with Myレビ friend on Tabelog, meeting for the first time still made me a bit nervous. However, the first two people who arrived were confirmed to not be scary people beforehand, so I was able to meet them with peace of mind (laughs). After entering, we introduced ourselves briefly and toasted with draft beer! We nibbled on the ankimo with ponzu sauce as we sipped our drinks. However, the conversation got so lively that none of us ended up ordering any food (^^;) So, we quickly opened the menu and ordered the following: - Assorted yakitori (5 skewers) 880 yen before tax - Edamame 380 yen before tax - Octopus with vinegar 580 yen before tax - Firefly squid marinated in vinegar 380 yen before tax Draft beer for 350 yen before tax, and shochu highball for 280 yen before tax were reasonably priced, but compared to other izakayas I frequent, the dishes were a bit on the expensive side (^^;) Just as we were about to make a toast, the last person arrived. On a certain Saturday, I had to work for a training session even though I usually have weekends off since transferring to this department. I was unlucky to be chosen as a presenter for a group work and it was really exhausting. After the training, I went to this restaurant where I was invited to a neighborhood gathering. I got to meet all the people I wanted to meet, so it was a happy coincidence. The restaurant was quite spacious and we had a private room reserved for us. We started with a toast and the after-work beer was the best! We chatted about various topics, including restaurants in the area, and time flew by. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the food... We had edamame, yakitori, sashimi, tempura, and other izakaya dishes, which were all delicious. The bill was also reasonable. Near Tozangoku Station, there is an izakaya called "Only Today!" Their service lunch every Thursday is only 390 yen. And you can eat as much rice as you want! The flavors are on the stronger side, but I like it that way. When I visited on 9/21, the service lunch was croquette and fried chicken set! You get 4 croquettes and 4 pieces of fried chicken! And you can have unlimited refills of rice (both white and brown)! All of this for just 390 yen. You can't beat this cost performance. Rain or shine, Thursdays are the day to have lunch here!
