It's a continuation of the story. Due to the new virus and work-related issues, a feeling of melancholy persists. After going out for business in the Wakayama area and taking in the fresh air to refresh my mood, I still feel heavy-hearted. Spending the weekend lazily working in the office, I suddenly realize it's Sunday evening. With few supermarkets open and not wanting convenience store food, I decide to treat myself to some Chinese buns. I head to a supermarket in Shin-Osaka that's open on Sundays. Today, I indulge in a chive and egg cake-like snack, which turns out to be a chive festival! Oh, right, tomorrow is a day off. What a relief. The snack goes well with beer. For dessert, I enjoy a butter twist bread. The butter flavor is strong, making this bread delicious. It feels like a small luxury on a weekend. I realize I've been indulging frequently lately, but I'll definitely be back for more.

So, on Sunday night, I thought about cooking something for myself. I went to the supermarket in Shin-Osaka. Oh! There's a Chinese bun shop. I saw they were selling 2 meat buns for 200 yen in a pack. The dough looked delicious. So, I bought it. It was a little luxury. When I got home, I microwaved it for a bit. The dough was chewy and had a good texture. It was much better than the convenience store buns. The filling had a Chinese flavor and a homemade feel. It was more like stir-fry than juicy meat. It was a nice little treat.
