I decided to buy a Do-san-ko pass before running errands and have lunch before going. I searched for a restaurant along the streetcar line where I could easily reach by streetcar and decided to go to this restaurant that caught my attention. It was just a few minutes walk from the nearest station. It was just before 12 o'clock, and there were two groups of customers already there. Looking at the menu, I decided to go with the chicken since I felt like having soup curry. Since it was my first time trying soup curry, I chose the original flavor. The recommended spice level was 2, but I opted for level 3 for a bit more heat. I ordered a small portion of rice. Delivery drivers were coming and going while I waited. As I looked at the wallpaper, I saw comments from people who had challenged the spice level 20, which I knew I couldn't handle. Finally, my order arrived. The small portion of turmeric rice was actually a decent amount. The soup looked packed with vegetables. I started by tasting the soup, which was not as spicy as I expected even at level 3. It had a rich flavor, but I felt it was a bit too salty. The crispy chicken was easy to eat, with the bones coming off easily and full of flavor. The soup contained plenty of cabbage, bell peppers, lotus root, okra, watercress, potatoes, paprika, pumpkin, broccoli, and other colorful vegetables. The rice was cooked to a firm texture, which I liked. I enjoyed the crispy chicken, but I felt the soup was a bit too salty, so next time, I might try the herbal soup.
