I wanted to eat kushikatsu, so I entered the first place I saw! The prices were cheap and the food was delicious. The salmon kushikatsu was especially tasty.

After a golf round with soccer team members, we decided to go to a night gathering in Umeda Kita, near Higashi-Shouten. We were looking for a place where we could eat Osaka-style food, so we visited Yokozuna for the first time. The female staff members' half-smiling responses matched the reputation of the place. We wondered why they chose this name, but the kushikatsu was indeed top-notch. The frozen items were not as good, but the Osaka-style pork steak was highly recommended and well-received by the group. It's a self-order system, and we ended up ordering too much on our first round.

This is a restaurant that serves kushikatsu. I went for a daytime drink. I ordered a Black Hoppy Set, and was able to choose between gin and vodka. For the kushikatsu, I had salmon belly, garlic, scallop, pickled ginger, and shishito pepper. As a complimentary dish, I received lotus root and carrot, and kimchi-flavored konjac. The design on the beer mug was amusing. It's a great place to enjoy kushikatsu and alcohol.

I searched for a kushikatsu restaurant in Osaka, made a last-minute reservation, and visited. There was a sign for all-you-can-drink at the storefront, but when I asked, I was told that the all-you-can-drink time had ended, which was disappointing. The female staff was unfriendly the whole time, and the dishes were placed carelessly, which made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend who lives in Kansai. They offer a wide variety of kushikatsu, and I ended up ordering a lot and found myself feeling full before I knew it. I visited for lunch on a holiday and didn't have to wait to be seated. The ventilation was so good that it was a bit cold, so it's worth being careful on cooler days. The service was fast and I left satisfied.

Cost performance is not bad, but I was disappointed by the service attitude. I made a reservation for the weekend and visited the restaurant. The table we were seated at was closest to the entrance, so we kept feeling the cold air every time the door opened, and the staff did not show any consideration. Throughout the meal, dishes were placed on the table roughly without a word, and responses to any questions were limited to "I don't know," "We don't have that," or "We can't do that." While we were silently eating, the staff were chatting and laughing at the register. What's with the difference in attitudes? The food was very delicious, and the cost performance was good, so I was satisfied with just the food. The skewers and motsu stew were particularly tasty and I would like to eat them again. However, I believe that a dining establishment is not just a place to eat, but also a place to enjoy conversations and the atmosphere. I don't expect high-end hotel-level service, but I think basic manners and etiquette should be in place. I apologize for the harsh comment, but I believe there is still room for improvement. Please thoroughly educate your employees and strive to grow into a wonderful restaurant. I am looking forward to it.

I went for a lunch crawl and ended up at Yokozuna next to Mifune because I forgot to eat kushikatsu. The master told me he couldn't eat anymore, so I ordered a drink and a few skewers and waited. I love the pickled ginger that comes with Osaka's kushikatsu. The slightly sweet batter is like a grown-up version of a snack, and it went well with my highball. I really enjoyed the strong carbonation in their highball. If this place was near my house, I would definitely come here alone.

During the daytime, there was a gathering of middle-aged men for a drinking party. The place was much more casual than the Higashidori branch. The staff seemed like typical part-timers, which matched the atmosphere of the restaurant nicely. Despite the casual vibe, the kushikatsu was delicious. The frying was just right, with no greasiness, which pleased the middle-aged men. The appetizers and other menu items were not run-of-the-mill, and considering the prices, it was all very satisfying. Although the restaurant was busy, the food service was quite slow, but it allowed us to leisurely enjoy our drinks.

I went to the restaurant with a senior and two girls. It was a typical izakaya, but they had Osaka-style pickled ginger tempura which was delicious. They also had a huge mountain of potatoes like a sumo wrestler's plate, which I would have liked to try with a large group. They had sumo wrestler jugs and the prices were reasonable, so overall it was satisfying. I think it's worth going once, but it's not a restaurant I would go out of my way to visit during a trip.

I had a sudden business trip to Kansai and stayed overnight in Osaka. I arrived in Osaka around 9 PM and decided to have a drink in the Umeda area. I found a chain restaurant called "Kushikatsu-ya Yokozuna" in a bustling arcade street. I had been to their store in Namba before. The restaurant was not very spacious, with counter and table seats available. I sat at the counter as a solo diner. I ordered a highball and the "関脇" set of 5 assorted kushikatsu skewers. Along with the highball, they served complimentary raw cabbage and fried shumai. The fried shumai was cold but tasted decent and paired well with the highball. The 5 skewers included beef, pork, squid, onion, and lotus root, all lightly breaded and easy to eat. I also ordered additional ham katsu, quail, and smelt skewers before finishing. This fast-food kushikatsu in Kansai was quick, cheap, and perfect for a casual drink. It was a great place to easily lift my spirits.

Today's lunch was lured by the flashy all-you-can-eat kushikatsu for 980 yen at Yokozuna. This place is famous for its generous portions of kushikatsu. Although I asked for the 980 yen all-you-can-eat option, they also brought out appetizers, rice, and miso soup, which made me a bit uneasy. And then they asked for a drink order, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. But I didn't want to make a fuss, so I just went along with it. In addition to the 980 yen all-you-can-eat option, there was also a 1200 yen all-you-can-eat set meal. I made sure to clarify that I wanted the 980 yen option. They also had a 7-piece set meal for 500 yen, but I figured if I'm paying 980 yen, I might as well go for the 15-piece set to get my money's worth. In the end, I managed to eat 20 pieces! The system was such that they served 5 pieces at a time, and once you finished those, you could order more in sets of 5. The first set included some big pieces like lotus root and onion. The frying was done well, and the ingredients were tasty, although the batter was a bit thick. When it came time to pay, I was surprised that the total was 1580 yen, even though I had calculated it to be 1240 yen. I left the restaurant with this mystery unsolved. By the way, one of the female staff members had dark nail polish on, which made me wonder if wearing nail polish is allowed in food service establishments. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but clear pricing would have made the experience even better.

When I wanted to eat kushikatsu in Osaka but didn't know where to go because I hadn't made a reservation, I visited this place. The restaurant was crowded with salarymen, families, and many foreigners. The menu was extensive, offering sashimi, fried foods, and more. I ordered mainly kushikatsu. The roast beef yukhoe was the most impressive. It was really delicious. Eating kushikatsu made me feel like I had come to Osaka.

This is a travel review. I was looking for a kushikatsu place that is open during the daytime. There are not many options near Osaka Station, so I wandered around and found this place. The beer is priced at 480 yen, which is reasonable. The kushikatsu ranges from 100 yen per skewer. The cabbage is all-you-can-eat. The skewers are lightly battered, so you can easily eat many of them. The color of the cabbage is a bit off-putting though. We each had 2 beers and 5 skewers, and the total came to 4000 yen, which is not bad. It's a good place for a quick drink and meal.

Hello. I also used this restaurant for last year's year-end party. We were looking for a place for the second party and wanted to eat kushikatsu, so we visited this restaurant. This place is famous as a chain restaurant. It is also known for serving alcohol early in the day. The restaurant has 3 floors, and we were seated on the 2nd floor this time. The seats were a bit cramped, but it didn't bother us much. We started with a toast with beer. Beer is delicious even in cold weather. We quickly placed our order. The recommended dishes here are definitely the kushikatsu. - Shiitake mushrooms are a classic choice. When you pour the sauce over them, it brings out a different flavor. - Ham katsu is a bit unique but delicious. Ham katsu is a common dish and I recommend it. - Red sausage is also a bit unique. It's a nostalgic red sausage that somehow brings a smile to your face when you eat it. - Pork is a classic and delicious choice. Simple yet tasty. We also ordered yakisoba and cucumber salad, and the prices were very cheap!! We were very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Three 26-year-old men and one woman went. I think it's a place that university students would go for cost performance. There are many comments about the attitude of the staff, but I felt that the service was not much different from a typical inexpensive izakaya. Rather than the customer service attitude, what bothered me was that they often didn't notice when customers tried to get their attention, even though the restaurant wasn't busy when we visited. As for the taste, even though I'm used to cheap ingredients, I found it... mediocre. Honestly, it wasn't worth making a reservation to go there.

I made a reservation for a 3000 yen all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink plan for kushikatsu, but I was charged an additional cover charge, so it ended up costing over 3000 yen per person. It was written in small letters on the plan, so I didn't say anything and just paid, but it was quite unfriendly. I would like them to include the service charge in the price.
