Just around lunchtime in this area, we searched nearby and found a restaurant recommended by my partner. Today, my partner, our youngest child, and I visited as a group of three. The restaurant was full, so we had to wait a bit for a table to be cleared. We were seated at the far back at a table for four, and we looked at the menu. The ramen came in small, regular, and large sizes, so it seemed like a place that serves generous portions. Should we go for the ramen or the value set meal...? Looking at the wall, there was a notice about the water used to cook the rice, suggesting a focus on quality. If the rice is delicious, maybe we should go for the set meal? I decided on the roasted pork set meal. Since the ramen in the set meal seemed small, the youngest child also chose the same. My partner went for the large ramen and large fried rice, which is pretty typical for him. Burly guys kept coming in one after another. It seems like the order rate for the grilled meat set meal or stewed dish set meal is high. The ramen, even in a small size, seemed like it would be enough... but then the steamed white rice was brought out, a mountain of it. The ramen, even in a small size, seemed like a full portion... The roasted pork was also spread out on a plate... The youngest child immediately offered some rice and roasted pork to my partner upon seeing it. I also shared some roasted pork because it had a rich sauce that wasn't shown in the menu photo. Later, I realized that the order had actually been for the grilled meat set meal. The grilled meat set meal had marinated pork slices, while the roasted pork set meal didn't have any sauce... I'm a bit confused... Regaining my focus, let's try the ramen. The ramen in the set meal is said to be fixed at the size of a small ramen from the past... It had a familiar taste, like something I've had before. The rich pork bone soy sauce broth was so good that it made me want to eat white rice. When I tasted the rice, it was immediately sweet and had a nice texture. This is truly a place where white rice is delicious. I couldn't help but watch my partner who was eating fried rice. It seemed like a waste to have ordered fried rice... I thought to myself. Now, the grilled meat? It's actually marinated pork slices, and since they were generously coated in sauce, the rice just kept disappearing. Towards the end, the sauce was a bit overwhelming. The ramen soup was to my liking, as it had a salty flavor that made the rice go down smoothly. As I continued eating, I noticed the regular customers on their own? Their orders were consistently ramen and a small bowl of rice. Ah, I see, just having ramen and rice was probably more satisfying, I'm sure. It seems like you can enjoy a meal here reasonably. There's also a restaurant across the street that my partner likes, so it might be difficult to revisit this place, but I really enjoyed the ramen soup here. If there's a next time, I've decided on ramen and a small bowl of rice.
