After visiting Maestro Koubou Yachiyo Ginza, we headed to Kamaya, a specialty store for dried snacks located next door. Last time, I tried a set of 3 items for 1000 yen, which included 2 bags of dried oranges, Popple, and dried mango. This time, I bought the following: - Dried oranges 240g for 648 yen each, 2 bags. This dried orange is the most popular item at Kamaya. Since the trial set had a small quantity, I decided to purchase two regular-sized bags. You can pay with PayPay at the store. There are various snacks lined up, making it enjoyable just to look at them.

I will share some Choco Witch with my friends! I bought 3 bags, one for myself and the other two for my Nubu friends. There are various flavors like dried orange, tiramisu chocolate, and European cheese, but I stick with Choco Witch. My friend who bought it with me last time also loved it, so I feel proud. I even bought Babbi's wafers at Isetan for home use. People born in the Showa era should try Okada's Choco Witch. It may not be as well-known as Babbi, but you can buy a bag for the price of one wafer. Babbi has its own charm, but Choco Witch stands out with its crispy texture and perfect size. There is also Shangway in the same block, so try the Mao Zedong spare ribs set! Okada Kameya 03-3542-6606, 7-12-2 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

After having lunch at Ginza Shanway, I stopped by Okada Kameya to buy Choco Witch and European-style cheese. I first learned about this shop nearly 10 years ago when it was featured on Tamori Club. I remember that they introduced dried oranges and tiramisu chocolate. I wonder what was featured on NHK. I don't know of any other physical stores that sell Choco Witch besides here, and I've seen them available for over 10,000 yen for a large box online, but I have to refrain from buying too much because it would irritate my jaw. The European-style cheese is also a big hit. I personally love it and can't stop eating it. When I shared it with my coworker, they loved it, so I will buy it again when I go to Ginza. I can't resist. Ginza 7-chome feels closer to Shinbashi. Okada Kameya 03-3542-6606 Tokyo, Chuo-ku, Ginza 7-12-2.

NHK's documentary "72 Hours" conducts fixed-point observation filming and interviews at a predetermined "certain place" for a total of 72 hours over 3 days, extracting various human stories from the unspecified number of people encountered there and compiling them into a single portrait in chronological order. In the episode aired on May 7, 2021, they featured "Okada Kameya," a long-established snack specialty store in Ginza. Known as a supplier to high-class bars and clubs, they offer around 300 varieties of snacks such as rice crackers, nuts, and chocolates. A woman who came all the way from Hakata's Nakasu to open a club, the bar owner who has been ordering their green peas for over 20 years, and even general customers are now frequent visitors due to their wide selection. Amidst the significant impact of COVID-19 on Ginza, the human drama seen through the snacks is highlighted.

A shop that supports the nights in Ginza. I finally got to go because I had something to do nearby. A shop that supports the nights in Ginza. A squad of snacks, an adult dagashiya. I absentmindedly tasted at home and kept eating crunch, crunch... Enjoying the izakaya atmosphere at home, it was fun. There were many rare delicacies I wanted to eat, looking forward to going again.

The other day, I happened to find this "Okada Kameya" while wandering around Ginza. This place is a popular snack bar frequented by Ginza clubs, as featured on NHK's hit show "Document 72 Hours". I wonder if when these snacks are served in beautiful dishes, they transform into dishes worth three or five thousand yen each. But honestly, I've never been inside a club and have no interest in them, so I don't really know what it's like. Maybe they have fluffy leather sofas, with night butterflies fluttering around, and conversations like "Ahh, please feed me" or "Oh no, Mr. President!" or "Please, just once" or "Gufu, I love it" happening. Sounds envy-inducing. But hey, it's all just business, right? You can have your beloved wife do those things for you at home for free. My beloved wife, who is now sixty, has already passed away, so I'll just enjoy my own little show. And thank you for the meal.

I have actually been here a few times before, but I haven't written a review, so I decided to share my thoughts this time. "Yaki Uni" is famous, and I have bought it a few times, but this time I tried something different. Tiramisu: A rich flavor with a cinnamon taste in the almond core. You can taste a hint of salt at the end. Pistachio: A caramel-like chocolate with a pistachio flavor that melts in your mouth. Assorted pack: A set of three kinds of Shinshu. Abalone, octopus, and scallop. Overall, the seasoning is strong. Bora Urka: Bora roe and milt. It tastes like fresh karasumi. Goes well with Japanese sake. Dry beef: Essentially jerky, but made with high-quality meat. A bit pricey, but worth it. Dry beef goes perfectly with a highball. I will definitely go back to buy more. The order of the reviews in this three-part series is 312, like in Dragon Quest. ===========

I used to watch my favorite show "Document 72 Hours" and saw a segment about a bar or snack shop in Ginza that was popular among customers. The owners were seen buying them, and people would stop by after work to pick some up. One day, as I was passing by, I saw many customers holding dried mandarins while waiting in line at the register. I was somehow drawn to it and decided to try them. It brought back nostalgic memories and tasted delicious.

This is a snack shop in Ginza frequented by customers from snazzy bars, clubs, and snack bars, as featured in NHK's documentary "72 Hours." The trial set of 3 items is slightly smaller in quantity compared to regular products, making it a great option for trying out. The tiramisu chocolate isn't really necessary, so I asked the staff and found out that you can choose any 3 bags for 1000 yen including tax. I purchased the trial set for 1000 yen, which included 2 bags of dried mandarins and 1 bag of Popple (fried pasta snack), as well as a bag of dried mango for 540 yen including tax. Payment can be made in cash, PayPay, or au PAY. Other payment methods are unconfirmed. I tried the dried mandarins right away and found them to be less sweet than expected, making them easy to munch on. It's understandable why they are popular.

This is a review of the restaurant featured on the NHK TV program "Document 72 Hours" called "Ginza Otsumami Rhapsody." The location is a long-established otsumami (snack) specialty store located behind GINZA 6 in Ginza. It is a popular spot for bars, clubs, and high-end delicacies, offering around 300 different types of snacks such as rice crackers, nuts, and chocolates. The store, called "Okada Kameya," is frequented by both food and beverage establishments as well as regular customers. The main product line is purchased in bulk and then packaged into smaller bags at the store. Popular items include Kazuchi: smoked roe camembert cheese, dried Mikan tiramisu chocolate, and a trial set of three items for 1000 yen. I purchased the dried Mikan and two other items, and they all had decent flavors. The show captures the life dramas that can be seen through the snacks in Ginza, a place heavily impacted by the effects of the coronavirus.

Located behind the Tobu Hotel in Ginza, "Okada Kameya" is a long-established specialty store for high-end snacks, known for its wide selection of items that attract not only restaurant-goers but also general customers. I finally purchased the spicy lotus root chips that I've been curious about for a while. The taste is indeed quite spicy, much spicier than the ones you can find at convenience stores. I was thinking it would be a good snack with alcohol, but the spiciness was unexpectedly strong. If you're not used to mustard, it might be too much. However, the aftertaste is good and it's a unique snack that you don't see often. I recommend trying it out to see if you like it.

In early June, I went shopping in Ginza. The store is a 3-minute walk from Ginza, Hibiya, and Higashi-Ginza. This shop was featured on NHK's "Documentary 72 Hours" and is a professional shop where Ginza bars purchase snacks (although regular customers can also buy). I had passed by the shop many times before, but this was my first time buying something. On this day, while on my way to a nearby eel restaurant, I had some time to spare, so I decided to check out the store. I was surprised to see that it was very crowded, with only female customers, who didn't look like typical Ginza ladies but more like the effect of "Documentary 72 Hours" (lol). Inside the shop, there were many snacks and sweets that I had never seen in supermarkets or convenience stores. At the register, the owner who appeared on TV was answering customers' questions politely, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Since my reservation time for eel was approaching, I quickly purchased some delicious dried snacks that were displayed near the register. <Snacks for alcohol> Spicy Giant Corn ¥360- Emerald ¥350- These snacks are commonly seen in Ginza bars and clubs, but I had never really savored them before, so it felt very fresh. The Emerald, made from dried green peas, had a lovely name. The bright green color was beautiful, and as I started munching on it while drinking beer after a bath, the combination of saltiness and the sweetness of the peas was so good that I couldn't stop eating (>_<). Additionally, the Giant Corn, with its slightly spicy seasoning and fantastic crunch, created a sound that resonated through my brain, making it addictive~ \(^o^)/ Next time, I'll go buy some nostalgic banana chips. It was delicious❣️ Thank you for the meal (^。^)

I watched NHK Documentary 72 Hours "Ginza Otsumami Rhapsody" and wanted to check out the place. It's a place I walk by occasionally. I decided to visit right after opening on a weekday. The restaurant seemed to have some items sold out after being featured on TV. I ordered the 3 items for 1000 yen deal, which included dried oranges and tiramisu chocolate. I chose dried oranges x2 and tiramisu chocolate. The popcorn flavor was corn potage, and the tomato flavor was also recommended. Once you start eating the dried oranges, you can't stop. Looking forward to trying the pasta next time. Thank you for the meal.

I received some cheese snacks from Okada Kameya, a popular snack shop for high-end clubs in Ginza. The package didn't say "cheese snacks," but instead had "European-style cheese" written on it. Hmm? European-style cheese!? Well, without thinking too much about it, I tried it. Hmm, the soy sauce flavor of the snack combined with the saltiness of the cheese was just right and delicious. When it comes to cheese snacks, Bourbon's disc-shaped ones are famous, but these snacks were also delicious. Truly fitting for high-end clubs.

After having a yakiniku lunch next door, I browsed through this place. "Okada Kameya," a snack specialty store in Ginza. Of course, I have known about this place since my days working in Ginza, but this was my first time really taking a good look. Located in an area frequented by Ginza clubs and bars. They have a variety of snacks, chocolates, dried fruits, nostalgic sweets, and senbei. There are too many things I want to buy! (laughs) With nowhere to go during Golden Week, I bought some snacks to enjoy at home. The rich Premium Cheese Arare (550 yen), Emerald (350 yen), Popple (450 yen), and Tsukubane (550 yen) are all delicious! The fried edamame, with a nice salty flavor, in the Emerald snack is particularly tasty! They would go well with beer, highballs, or anything really. Looking forward to trying the others too!

On a regular night, a friend gave me a birthday present on our way back from a drinking party. I'm not very familiar with "drinking, playing, shopping," but it seems to be a high-end shop favored by Ginza clubs. He gave me three items: Popple, Tiramisu Chocolate, and Dried Mandarin Orange. The dried mandarin orange was really good. By drying it, the natural richness of the orange is concentrated and spreads in your mouth. It was delicious. I was feeling excited about the high-end club, but in a good way, the taste was down-to-earth and very approachable.

I can't go to high-end clubs in Ginza. I don't particularly want to go, but I have thought that it might be nice to experience the feeling of "living it up at a Ginza club" for one night. It would be nerve-wracking, though, if it's out of my own pocket. I don't know how much it would cost, and I can't imagine what to talk about either. But if it's just snacks, you can still get a taste of "living it up at a Ginza club." This is a snack shop that is a regular supplier to Ginza clubs. They go around clubs every night taking orders and delivering them to the clubs. They also sell these snacks to the general public. Inside the shop, snacks that seem like they would be served in fancy glassware at a club are packed in bags and lined up everywhere. Among them, the popular ones at clubs are Tiramisu Chocolate (tax included: 648 yen), nostalgic sweet potato snacks (432 yen), dried oranges (594 yen), and European-style cheese sticks favored by X Japan's YOSHIKI (648 yen). I bought a bunch of these. It's like experiencing the feeling of "living it up at a Ginza club" at home tonight.

December 5, 2019. Thursday. 6:00 PM. It's the first day of a one-day Tokyo day trip for the Adult Holiday Club. Today, I strolled around Ginza from Nihonbashi. I had the famous fried rice and dumplings with bottled beer at "Kotsu Kaikan" and continued to wander around. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop by a small shop that was featured on various TV shows like "Tamori Club" as a club favorite in Ginza. The shop is tucked away in a corner of Ginza, with various candies displayed in a wholesale style outside. However, these candies are not your usual ones. They even had the candy YOSHIKI was eating on TV, called "European-style cheese sen" for 600 yen. It was surprisingly expensive, fitting for a club favorite in Ginza. The handwritten signs were charming. The shop owner recommended the beef jerky for 1,600 yen, but I politely declined and opted for the "Otafuku beans" (adzuki beans) for 350 yen, "Tiramisu chocolate" (almond chocolate) for 320 yen, and "Dried mandarin orange" for 340 yen from the 3 for 1,000 yen selection. I saved 84 yen. The Tiramisu chocolate seems to be popular since I also saw it at Nishi no Kashi in Ueno and Kinokuniya in the station. I enjoyed the Otafuku beans as a snack with a highball can on the Shinkansen ride back. The skin was firm, making it a great snack, even though it seems to be from Australia. Despite being Otafuku beans, right? Thank you for the meal.
