In early June, I went shopping in Ginza. The store is a 3-minute walk from Ginza, Hibiya, and Higashi-Ginza. This shop was featured on NHK's "Documentary 72 Hours" and is a professional shop where Ginza bars purchase snacks (although regular customers can also buy). I had passed by the shop many times before, but this was my first time buying something. On this day, while on my way to a nearby eel restaurant, I had some time to spare, so I decided to check out the store. I was surprised to see that it was very crowded, with only female customers, who didn't look like typical Ginza ladies but more like the effect of "Documentary 72 Hours" (lol). Inside the shop, there were many snacks and sweets that I had never seen in supermarkets or convenience stores. At the register, the owner who appeared on TV was answering customers' questions politely, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Since my reservation time for eel was approaching, I quickly purchased some delicious dried snacks that were displayed near the register. <Snacks for alcohol> Spicy Giant Corn ¥360- Emerald ¥350- These snacks are commonly seen in Ginza bars and clubs, but I had never really savored them before, so it felt very fresh. The Emerald, made from dried green peas, had a lovely name. The bright green color was beautiful, and as I started munching on it while drinking beer after a bath, the combination of saltiness and the sweetness of the peas was so good that I couldn't stop eating (>_<). Additionally, the Giant Corn, with its slightly spicy seasoning and fantastic crunch, created a sound that resonated through my brain, making it addictive~ \(^o^)/ Next time, I'll go buy some nostalgic banana chips. It was delicious❣️ Thank you for the meal (^。^)
