The fried chicken was particularly crispy and flavorful, while the crab sauce fried rice had a subtle yet delicious taste that even their daughter enjoyed. The restaurant had a casual atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy authentic Chinese food. However, the prices were somewhat high, so they advised to be cautious not to overeat. Even though it's not the premium abalone ramen, the shredded pork ramen is satisfying enough! Whenever I feel like treating myself, I always go for the shark fin ramen here. Usually I share it and it's a bit lacking in portion, but this time I get to have it all to myself! It's quite a generous serving, but I can finish it all!

I often come to Umeme-san on my way back from shopping. My usual favorite menu is the lunch box. It seems like the combination has changed a bit, with the steamed chicken being smaller now, and the dumplings that used to be pink with meat inside are now filled with sweet egg yolk paste. The flavor is still great and I like it, but not just the taste, the staff at the restaurant are always friendly and polite. It's perfect for a light meal. Thank you for the meal!

The last treat of the year was a dinner party with my wife's friends. We chose "Chinese Cuisine Meimei" on the 10th floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi store, where we were sure to enjoy a meal. We shared dishes like dumplings, mapo tofu, pork with mushrooms and eggs, and seafood stir-fry. It's always fun to share various dishes with everyone when it comes to Chinese cuisine. I was lured in by the shark fin and decided to try the shark fin course at this restaurant. You can choose between noodles or rice with the shark fin, and I chose noodles. The variety of small dishes that came out first were visually appealing and enjoyable. The gyoza I ordered separately was crispy and juicy, very delicious. The shark fin was thin but large, and I was very satisfied from lunch onwards. Finally, a variety of branded teas were served and they were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Although there were many tempting choices, I couldn't resist my craving for noodles and a spicy kick. I found a restaurant called "Umeme" that served tantanmen noodles and placed my order for the Black Sesame Tantanmen priced at 1,080 yen. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes and the presentation alone was enticing. The soup looked spicy with black sesame and cashew nuts, making my mouth water. I mixed the soup without hesitation and took a bite. The slight numbing spiciness mixed with the sesame flavor and nuts was subtly sweet and delicious. The noodles were thick and slightly firm, providing a satisfying chew. The perfect level of spiciness in the soup was invigorating, especially in the hot summer weather. Tantanmen is the best for staying energized during the day. I ordered Seafood Ankake Yakisoba x1, made with fried noodles, and Black Tan-Tan Cold Noodles x1, which is cold noodles with black sesame tan-tan sauce. I also had a Lychee Black Tea x1. On Saturday night, I wandered around the restaurant floor at Daimaru Shinsaibashi and ended up at "Chinese Cuisine Meimei" in search of spicy ramen. It had been a while since I last visited, but the restaurant was fully booked. I tried the Spicy Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles and Stir-Fried Vegetables and they were delicious! I wish the numbing and spiciness were ten times stronger though. I should have requested for extra spice, but I gave up since I was dining alone. I also wanted to try the Xiao Long Bao, dumplings, and other dishes. The Spicy Cold Noodles caught my eye too, so I'll definitely come back soon.

Today, I felt like having Chinese food, so I visited Umemei at Daimaru Shinsaibashi. I started with steamed chicken with coriander and Shaoxing wine. The Shaoxing wine came with rock sugar and sweet plum (the sweet type), which got me excited. Next, I had a set of fried noodles and dim sum, followed by a set of mapo tofu. The dim sum was really good. The fried noodles were crispy and delicious. The mapo tofu had a nice level of spiciness and was tasty. I've decided that this place will be one I visit occasionally.

I watched the movie "The French Dispatch". The plot was different from what I expected, but I enjoyed the complex and fun adaptation of magazine articles into visuals. The talented actors portrayed their characters in a delightful manner, making the viewing experience enjoyable. Today, I visited "Daimaru Shinsaibashi Store". The busy restaurant I planned to visit was crowded, so I ended up at "Chinese Cuisine Ume Ume" on the 10th floor. I ordered the "Five-Ingredient Soy Sauce Thick Noodles" for 1,430 yen. It was a bit pricey, but the dish was delicious with a gentle flavor that slowly seeped in. The thin noodles slid down my throat smoothly. It was a great meal. The service was very polite and the atmosphere was comfortable. Despite the high prices, I would like to visit again for this kind of ambiance. A satisfying end to a day well spent.

After shopping at Daimaru Shinsaibashi, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant on the 10th floor. I ordered a draft beer while my companion had Shaoxing wine. We decided to share some dishes a la carte, including crab omelette, dumplings, shrimp chili, and black sesame tantan noodles. We started with the crab omelette, which was delicious with scallops and shrimp in it. It was different from the usual crab omelette I've had before. The shrimp chili was exceptionally tasty, with a rich flavor despite the small portion. The dumplings had slightly thick skin but juicy filling. Lastly, we tried the black sesame tantan noodles. My companion enjoyed it, but I didn't find it very delicious.
