Good morning in September 2023! The perfect base to enjoy Hakata to the fullest! The accommodation in Hakata Nakasu is here. It's so nice, isn't it? With breakfast included, starting the day with mentaiko rice is wonderful. And the complimentary coffee is much appreciated. It's the Tokyu Inn. Did you know that all the managers are women? A good workplace allows for good work. Now, it's time to check out and fully enjoy Hakata. Thank you for the meal! ❤️

I took some time off in May and went to Fukuoka. After searching through reservation sites, I secured a room at "Toyoko Inn Hakata Nishi Nakasu." It's conveniently located near Tenjin Minami Station, with the Nanakuma Line also in operation. I had breakfast in the lobby, where the style of using hand sanitizer, wearing gloves, and serving food has become a norm at Toyoko Inn. There were two types of rice, miso soup, another soup, side dishes, pickles, and mentaiko for breakfast. Mentaiko is my favorite rice topping. I was able to watch the Hakata Dontaku parade as it was happening during my check-out. Thank you for the meal. <Infection prevention list> Hand sanitizer: ✔️ Ventilation: CO2 concentration 896ppm Social distancing: ✔️ Spacing between seats Staff wearing masks: ✔️ Temperature check upon entry: None

Good morning to the friendly and energetic ladies at the restaurant! Their cheerful greetings gave me a boost as I prepared breakfast. I decided to go light today after overeating yesterday, but I couldn't resist having mentaiko rice. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Toyoko Inn offers a free breakfast, and it's great to see they have mentaiko in Hakata! I enjoyed a hearty meal in the morning. The mixed rice and meatballs were delicious too. I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal!

Staying at the familiar place, Hakata Nishi-Nakasu, where I have stayed over 20 times before. This time, it's a two-night stay in a single room. Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Hakata, the meals are served as bento boxes. Some guests eat in the lobby, but many prefer to dine in their rooms. I always appreciate that they provide karashi mentaiko. Looking forward to staying here again in October! *Prices are as of the time of writing. I stayed for two nights and had breakfast this morning, even though I wasn't planning to eat tomorrow. When I entered the venue, there was temperature checking and gloves were provided. Each person's meal was portioned out into bento boxes. Unfortunately, there was no "game-ni" dish, which was disappointing. The highlight was probably having spicy cod roe (^_-)-☆. *Prices are as of the time of writing. Accommodation date: January 17th, 2019 to January 18th, 2019 No need for further explanation, right? (laughs) A representative business hotel with a simple breakfast, which is free for guests. The menu is basic but sufficient for a quick meal. They even had spicy cod roe! One thing to note is that the hotel has limited parking spaces and no affiliated parking lot. If you are driving a rental car or your own car, I recommend securing a parking space early. There is a large multi-story parking lot connected to a pachinko parlor diagonally across the hotel, where you can park for 1200 yen for 12 hours. In my case, I parked after 7:00 PM and left before 9:00 AM, which cost me 1500 yen. It's still reasonable, though (laughs). Thank you for your hospitality.

In the morning, the limited space was packed with salarymen having a quick breakfast. The lineup was quite simple compared to the old rice balls, but it must have improved. I guess the APA hotel's breakfast is better. Maybe I'll try the Nashi bread next time. Finished off with an orange. Thank you for the meal!

Today's stay was great!! I must admit that I went a bit overboard with drinking today, and I am aware of that haha. I remember everything, but it feels a bit fuzzy to be honest. I should just go to bed already, but when I returned to the hotel, I did something silly again. Feeling like I didn't drink enough, I bought a beer from the vending machine in the lobby. I also bought "Kakipee" from the same vending machine. When I got back to my room and saw the Kakipee, it turned out to be the Tokyu Inn brand haha. I forgot to take a picture, but it was different from the regular Kakipee, with big pieces of dried persimmon like rice crackers, and a higher ratio of peanuts which I personally enjoyed. The beer was just delicious as usual. Well, I'll stop here for today haha. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!! The snacks and beer were delicious!! Thank you for the meal♪

For my stay in Fukuoka, I couldn't stay at the same hotel for multiple nights, so I ended up doing a one-night stay at the Toyoko Inn. The second night was in Hakata Nishi Nakasu. It's a convenient location for staying after drinking in Nakasu. There were many Chinese tourists in the lobby, and Chinese was being spoken all around. Breakfast was available from 7 am, with three types of rice and even porridge. The side dishes were not self-served with tongs, but rather served in small dishes that you could put on a tray, which was a unique style for Toyoko Inn. When I looked at the contents of the small dishes, I found "mentaiko" (spicy cod roe). You have to eat mentaiko when you come to Hakata. Thank you for the meal.

On March 21st, I stayed at the East Yokohama INN for three nights, from the 20th to the 22nd. Without realizing it, this became my 67th review on Tabelog. Including places I visited before joining Tabelog, I have now used around 80 different locations. The East Yokohama INN in Hakata welcomed me with a sweet miso soup, spicy cod roe, and homemade side dishes. There were three staff members, which was more than usual. They offered a choice of white rice, mixed rice, or porridge, along with a selection of bread (including grape bread) and two types of vegetable juice (on the third day, there were two types of juice). I felt satisfied with the options. There was a woman who took three servings of the spicy cod roe side dish, so there was only a small amount of vegetable salad in the bowl. This happened two days in a row. The prices listed are from the time of writing and do not include tax.

During my Fukuoka business trip this time, I used this Toyoko Inn for the first time. It's convenient as it's close to Nakasu and within walking distance to Tenjin. You can also reserve a parking space in advance. The free breakfast at Toyoko Inn is basically the same as other Toyoko Inns - you can choose between rice and bread. I don't usually eat much for breakfast, so I'm satisfied with this amount for free. By the way, has the free coffee service outside of breakfast been discontinued for all Toyoko Inns? It's the usual Toyoko Inn breakfast, but on this day, there were many guests staying so the vegetables were gone, which was a bit disappointing. Lately, I like to eat a lot of salad in the morning considering my health... Lately, I've been staying at this Toyoko Inn a lot during my Fukuoka business trips. This time, the vegetable options were sold out again, so I ended up eating a lot of oranges... Maybe it changes depending on the season? The main dish this time was curry soup. It's a rare menu for Toyoko Inn, but it had a good taste even though it was mild.

Weekend morning. Opened in 2001. Renovated in 2007. Located in Hakata, Fukuoka. It is located on the left side of Kokutai Road, heading towards Nakasu from Exit 5 of Tenjin Minami Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line. Along Kokutai Road. It was my first time in Fukuoka, so I didn't know the area well. Even though I looked at the map beforehand, I couldn't figure it out, but it was a very convenient location! The famous Nakasu food stalls were within walking distance, and the bustling area of Tenjin was also within walking distance. Inside the hotel, there is a lobby space with table seating. The meeting rooms were also open and set up as table seating. It is a business hotel chain. The breakfast buffet is only available for guests. The breakfast buffet includes simmered dishes, tamagoyaki, mentaiko, white rice, flavored rice, okayu, crispy plum furikake, bread, vegetable juice, two types of orange juice, and more. There's mentaiko~! As expected in Hakata. Oranges are also rare. The side dishes are served in small bowls, which is also unusual. There are few side dishes, but they are supplemented with small bowls. The complimentary curry service for dinner ended on July 31, 2015, at all Toyoko Inns. A satisfying morning. Mentaiko~.

Fukuoka City in Kyushu and Yamaguchi is a city with overwhelming appeal, but due to the shortage of hotels compared to the strong demand, hotel reservations are difficult to come by on weekends. This hotel is located in the Nishinakasu district, sandwiched between Tenjin and Nakasu, facing the Kokutai Road, making it convenient to go anywhere. A common feature of this hotel chain is that the rooms are relatively spacious and comfortable compared to other hotels in the same price range. The free breakfast buffet is also a charm, with a lineup that may be slightly cheap but is sufficient for a free meal, offering both Japanese and Western options. The breakfast venue is small, so it can get very crowded, but with a great location near Nakasu on the left, Tenjin on the right, and Haruyoshi across the road, it's unclear if many guests are actually able to enjoy breakfast the next morning. Compared to other hotels like Toyoko Inn in other cities, the breakfast venue seems less crowded. Overall rating: ★3.8 Taste: ★3.5 Service: ★3.7 Vibe: ★3.7 Cost Performance: ★3.9 Access: ★3.5 Access: Approximately 10 minutes on foot from Nakasu Kawabata Station on Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line and Kaizuka Line, and approximately 3 minutes on foot from Haruyoshi bus stop on Nishitetsu Bus. Customer Satisfaction: 65.7 out of 100 points.

Toyoko Inn is a nationwide business hotel chain that offers complimentary breakfast. The breakfast varies in content and taste by location, making it an enjoyable aspect for travelers like myself. Many similar chain hotels also provide complimentary breakfast, making it a competitive point of differentiation. Breakfast is served buffet-style in the lobby from 7 am, with options like white rice, seasoned rice, and rice porridge. While this location offers bread, there are no rice balls or salad. The staff, consisting of four friendly ladies, greet guests frequently with a cheerful "good morning." The food is decent overall, with slightly salty seasoned rice. The convenience of having breakfast included in the room rate makes expense management easier for business travelers. The rooms are functional but somewhat small, lacking storage space. Unfortunately, accommodation prices are increasing in cities like Fukuoka and Sapporo, with rates exceeding 10,000 yen. This trend may continue as inbound tourism grows, necessitating price adjustments to maintain capacity.

Hello November! This hotel is very convenient as it is close to Nakasu! It's perfect for just crashing after a night of drinking. This time, my group of four friends are having a year-end party combined with a drinking and hot spring trip in Nakasu! Somehow, during our late-night drinking, everyone ends up going their separate ways to enjoy their night. We'll meet in the lobby at 9:00 in the morning! The hotel is clean and caters to business use by cutting costs. The lobby breakfast and coffee service are a nice touch. It's a very user-friendly hotel for business purposes. However, breakfast only consists of miso soup, rice with furikake, and mentaiko! I wish they had at least eggs and sausages. After breakfast, we head back to Nakasu! This hotel is highly recommended as a base for exploring Nakasu!

In Japan, there is a chain of hotels called Toyoko Inn that offers free breakfast, which is famous. However, the breakfast at Toyoko Inn is simple because it's free. But, in Hakata Nishinakasu, they have spicy cod roe! It's surprising because normally Toyoko Inn only offers rice balls, miso soup, and pickles. In other places like Okayama, Kushiro, and Kyoto, they only offer rice balls and miso soup. Maybe Toyoko Inn offers different items depending on the region? This morning, I gave up on going out for breakfast and had Toyoko Inn breakfast with coffee instead.
