Met with a business acquaintance in Nishikujo for a meal and drinks. Chose this place with cheap alcohol. Smooth entry into the restaurant. Orders took a while to come. Drinks were also slow to arrive. Understandably, they may be short-staffed due to the tough business conditions caused by the pandemic, so I don't mind waiting. But the staff seemed a bit arrogant. I hope they don't make me feel uncomfortable while waiting (＞人＜;). But my wish was in vain... The meat was okay, nothing special. The recommended black hormone was decently tasty. But the atmosphere is important when dining. Hoping for better next time.

Passion Hormone, a chain restaurant! I had heard the name a lot but never been there, and since my usual go-to spot was closed, I decided to give it a try. It was quite relaxed, probably because it was a weekday. I wasn't sure what to order, so I just went with the assorted platter. I showed a coupon for a free drink from the Tabelog app, so my first drink was on the house. The prices were reasonable, so I ended up ordering more and it turned out pretty good. The taste was better than I expected! The only downside was that the drinks had a lot of ice, but overall, the atmosphere was nice and I had a good experience!

I had always wanted to try Passion Hormone after seeing it in commercials, so I decided to go with a group of girlfriends. We had spent the day at Universal Studios Japan and were staying at Hotel Keihan Universal Tower. Tired of the restaurants near Universal, we decided to venture out to Nishikujo for dinner. Nishikujo had a different vibe with its cozy, local eateries. Passion Hormone was just a 5-6 minute walk from the station. It felt like a specialized version of Gyu-Kaku for hormone dishes. I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but I think we got about 10 different types of hormones split into two orders. We tried various cuts like heart, stomach, tripe, and intestines, each priced around 290-390 yen. We also ordered sides like bean sprouts, kimchi, cucumbers, and pork offal. The collagen sour drink was interesting, and I tried the yuzu flavor. It was 380 yen. The hormones were grilled on a brazier at the table, making everything quite greasy. The dishes were tasty, and the prices were reasonable, especially for alcohol. We ended up paying around 2600 yen per person, including a large portion of rice. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but the greasiness might not be suitable for fancy occasions or dates where clean attire is preferred.

I was quite hungry at that time, so I was determined to eat a lot of hormone meat, but as expected, the fatty meat overwhelmed me and my stomach suffered Σ(゜Д゜)lol. The interior of the restaurant was clean and nice, but the next day, as expected, I ended up with indigestion Σ(゜Д゜)lol.

Today, I went to a hormone restaurant with my friend! It's called Jounetsu Hormone! It's a chain restaurant, but they offer fresh hormone dishes! And because it's a chain, they have many rare cuts available! The recommended dish is definitely the hormone from black wagyu beef! They call it "Kurohoru" at this restaurant! The texture of this hormone is amazing! When you eat it, the richness of the fat spreads in your mouth! It tastes sweet because it's so fresh! There are other recommended dishes as well, and the menu is easy to understand with a 10-point rating, so you can find your favorite hormone easily! Definitely give it a try!

When my husband and I were out and got back late, we decided to stop by this restaurant on the way home because we didn't feel like cooking dinner. When we entered, there were no other customers, probably because it was late on a weekday. The server informed us that last order would be in 30 minutes. We were fine with that since we weren't planning to stay long anyway. However, the service was slow and the staff seemed disinterested, muttering to themselves in the back. Despite being the only customers, we had a hard time getting their attention. It may have just been an off day, but the service was really lacking, making it hard to judge the food quality.

Met up with a friend in Nishikujo. The restaurant we wanted to go to was full, so we decided to take a break and try out a place nearby. I had been curious to try it since seeing the First Passion Hormone commercial. We ordered beer and salted tongue to start. When the beer arrived, along with the charcoal... and then the meat... I was already feeling full, but the charcoal wasn't hot enough to cook the meat properly. It had a nice sizzle to it, but I wish it had cooked better. Next time, I'll have to try the hormone as well.
