Visited after 1 pm. The restaurant has 2 tables, 4 counter seats, and a take-out section on the second floor. There was only one group of customers before us. The menu offers 4 types of tonkatsu - loin, fillet, mixed fry, and oyster fry, with options for small and large sizes. Rice, cabbage, and miso soup are all-you-can-eat, and the miso soup has clams in it. I ordered the 150g loin cutlet, which cost 1100 yen including tax. It arrived in just over 10 minutes. The cutlet, with a slight pink color in the middle, was thickly sliced and seemed more than 150g. The fat was left in moderation to avoid being too greasy. The breadcrumbs were coarse, which I liked. Only sauce was available for seasoning, but I wish there was salt too. The staff were attentive, probably due to the smaller size of the restaurant compared to other commercial establishments. They promptly refilled the cabbage when it ran out. The taste was impressive, surpassing the average of standalone tonkatsu specialty stores, possibly due to their accumulated know-how from operating multiple branches. I confidently recommend this restaurant.

Today, I had to work in Minami-Morimachi. After finishing a job around 11:30 am, I had to head back to my office in Honmachi for desk work. I was quite busy and didn't have time to eat lunch slowly. I noticed a newly opened shop and saw they had tonkatsu bento. I thought, why not? So, I decided to visit Inaba Wasai. I saw a curry bread in the showcase for 178 yen. It looked quite big. I ordered a pork cutlet bento with extra rice and the 178 yen curry bread. The bento had a decent amount of tonkatsu, about 120g I think, with a crispy coating and tender meat. The rice was fluffy and had a nice chewy texture. The curry bread was surprisingly delicious, with a crispy outer layer and a flavorful curry filling. It was a great deal for 178 yen. I enjoyed my lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the curry bread was. Thank you for the meal.

I bought a bento box. Except for the mixed rice, everything else was cold, and it tasted really bad, probably because it was cold. The takeout time was three minutes. I tried to warm it up in the microwave, but the taste was still bad! I was looking forward to the new restaurant, but I'm disappointed!

I bought it because it said "freshly fried", but when I ate it 3 minutes later, everything was cold except for the side dish rice! Very disappointing. I will never buy it again.

I ordered delivery from "Demae-kan" for the first time in a while. I chose the "Mixed Katsu Bento" (1,420 yen) from "Tonkatsu Inaba Wako". It includes cheese-wrapped shabu-katsu, shrimp fry, hire-katsu, and shredded cabbage. This is the same as the "Cheese-wrapped Shabu-katsu Bento" (860 yen) sold in-store. The price difference of 560 yen is likely for the use of the delivery system and part of the delivery fee. The restaurant I ordered from this time was "Tonkatsu Inaba Wako" in Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. I wonder if "Inaba" has always been part of the name? I did a little research and found that there are currently three companies operating under the name "Wako" in the tonkatsu chain. The first is "Wako Shoji Co., Ltd." based in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, which operates under the name "Wako". The second is "Kyowa Co., Ltd.", which operates under the name "Tonkatsu Wako" and was founded by a founder and a parlor co-owner. The third is "Wako Co., Ltd.", which was founded by an executive of Kyowa Co., Ltd. and operates under the name "Inaba Tonkatsu Wako". Although all three companies have "Wako" in their name, they are separate entities. The bento includes a beautiful tamagoyaki, red and white namasu, and a cucumber pickled in the style of Kyu-chan from "Tokai Pickles". The shredded cabbage is dressed with yuzu-flavored dressing. The rice is topped with "Yukari" red shiso furikake from "Mishima Shokuhin". The shrimp fry, hire-katsu, and cheese-wrapped shabu-katsu are all crispy and golden brown. They are best enjoyed with tonkatsu sauce. The cheese in the cheese-wrapped shabu-katsu is surprisingly thick. Shabu-katsu refers to thinly sliced pork wrapped around the filling.

Tonkatsu restaurant Wako's takeout specialty shop Tonkatsu Yori seems to focus on fried chicken and croquettes. The croquettes are large in size and have decent value for money, but the fried chicken was the standout on the menu. I ordered the full-size portion of fried chicken for around 2500 yen, and it was quite filling. The packaging is stylish and would make a great gift. The taste is unique and enjoyable. The full-size portion also came with a package labeled as "tomato" and a complimentary cola. Surprisingly, the "tomato" package actually contained daikon radish, which caught everyone off guard (laughs). Overall, it's a convenient and pleasant shop, and I look forward to trying the croquettes next time.

Hello. I'm Shunmama. I found out that a takeout store of "Inaba Wakou" has opened in the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, so I bought some while passing by. I tried the "Naniwa Croquette" for 98 yen for 5 pieces, and had it for dinner. I heated it up and put it on top of curry udon. The croquette was big and moist. Next time, I want to try eating it freshly fried (*^^*)

Minced cutlet has become cheaper. The curry bread is 170 yen, and it is as delicious as the one from a bakery.
