Today, I went to the restaurant around 11:30 for the seared chashu rice bowl, which was available for free with a coupon from LINE. I could also choose a rice bowl with eggs or menma, but the chashu rice bowl looked delicious, so I showed the coupon to the staff when ordering. The chashu rice bowl had a light flavor that paired well with the chicken broth soup. Thank you for the meal.

Not limited to limited items, it was my first visit but I went for something other than their specialty. It was a really good cold ramen with a perfect balance of lemon sourness, perfect for hot days. The toppings were plentiful and satisfying. It was a high-quality limited ramen. It seems they have regular limited menu items, so I won't get tired of them along with their regular items. You can collect points on a loyalty card and get additional benefits, making it a place you'll want to visit regularly.

On my second visit, I went later to avoid the lunch rush! I used a coupon to add chicken chashu topping to the delicious chicken white broth soup. The soup is rich but not overpowering, with a flavor that appeals to everyone. The noodles are medium-thin, making them easy to eat. The balance reminds me of Bonbo near Hachijo Street. Next time, I'll try the soy sauce and special flavors too!

The interior of the restaurant only has a counter, giving off a vibe of being popular among ramen enthusiasts! Looking at the menu, you can tell they focus on ramen with few side dishes available. The rich soup and thick noodles! Personally, I'm not a big fan of thick noodles, but when I tried them, they had a good texture and just the right amount of chewiness! I see why this place is popular! The soup is just so delicious! Definitely coming back for more. If you register as a QR friend, you can choose from various services!

Chicken Paitan and Special Chicken Junk. The first day of the 3-day weekend, Saturday. Kyoto is in the midst of the Gion Festival. For lunch, I went to the popular noodle shop Menya Ikku on Nishiooji Street. I visited shortly before the opening time of 11:00 AM, and there were about 4 customers already there. Since the restaurant only has counter seats and is small, there were a few customers who couldn't be seated after the first round. Recommended dishes: Special Chicken Junk for 1350 yen, Chicken Paitan for 950 yen, Chicken Shoyu for 900 yen. I ordered the Special Chicken Junk, which is a mixed noodles dish. It comes with 3 rare chashu slices, seared chicken chashu, flavored egg, and plenty of green onion. The noodles are flat twisted noodles, and indeed have a junky flavor. Maybe a bit too much black pepper. My wife ordered the restaurant's recommended Chicken Paitan, which was delicious. Chicken Paitan tends to be rich, but this one was relatively light and didn't have any unpleasant aftertaste. My daughter also enjoyed the Chicken Shoyu. The Chicken Paitan and Shoyu were delicious. There might be room for improvement in the mixed noodles dish. 136th bowl in 23 years.

I had the chicken broth ramen and chashu rice bowl set. I arrived a little after 11 AM and there were customers coming in one after another. By 11:25, the restaurant was full and there was a line forming outside. The soup was refreshing yet flavorful, and the noodles paired well with it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On Monday at 7:00 PM, I went to "Menya Ikku" in Nishiooji. It's right in front of the station. There were three customers ahead of me. I ordered the "Chicken White Soup (900 yen)." It arrived in 5 minutes. With the first sip, it was delicious. The rich chicken white soup had a thick texture but was completely free of any unpleasant taste. The saltiness was just right. It came with green onions, bamboo shoots, and char siu. The char siu was slightly rare with a peppery flavor. The noodles were chewy and had a good bite to them. I finished the soup in no time because it was so good. There are also variations like "Chicken Shoyu," "Chicken Salt," and "Chicken Junk." Since the soup in the "Chicken White Soup" was so carefully made, I now want to try these other menu items as well. I found a great restaurant in Nishiooji. Thank you for the meal.

For lunch today, I went to Menya Ikku near Nishioji Station. I had the Chicken Shoyu and Chicken Paitan ramen. The Chicken Shoyu noodles were thin, while the Chicken Paitan had medium-thick noodles, both were delicious. I generally prefer Chicken Paitan, and this one was slightly lighter in flavor, very refreshing and tasty. The noodles were a bit soft, I wish they had a bit more firmness. I would rate it around 3.43 out of 5. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased the chicken soy sauce ramen from the ticket machine outside and waited for 5 minutes due to the full seating. It seems to be a second brand of a popular ramen shop in Kyoto. The staff members were quite talkative with the customers, creating a friendly atmosphere. I sat at the counter seat and the ramen was served in about 10 minutes. It took quite a while even though they were serving only two people. The seating area consists of about 10 counter seats. The ramen appeared slightly oily on the surface. When I tasted the soup, I could feel the chicken broth, with soy sauce flavors subtly present. It had a delicate taste. Black pepper and shichimi spice were sprinkled on top, occasionally causing a slight irritation in the throat, interfering with the original flavor of the soup. The noodles were straight and slightly thicker than thin noodles. The toppings included bamboo shoots, one slice each of pork and chicken chashu, and seaweed instead of green onions which I requested. It was delicious, but I wished I could have enjoyed the soup without the black pepper and shichimi spice.

Located near Nishioji Station in Kyoto City, "Menya Ikku" lives up to its claim of serving the most delicious chicken paitan ramen! The soup is rich like Tenkaippin's, but not overly heavy, with a relatively light and smooth broth. A chicken paitan soup that perfectly suits my taste. #Ramen #ChickenPaitanRamen #ChickenPaitanShoyuRamen #KyotoRamen #KyotoFood #NishiojiStationFood

A ramen shop near Nishioji Station. Their specialty is chicken white broth ramen. I ordered the special chicken white broth for 1300 yen. The special comes with 3 slices of chashu, 1 seasoned egg, green onions, and 3 sheets of nori. The appearance is great and the soup and noodles are delicious. I prefer this over thick chicken ramen. I recommend the chicken white broth ramen.

A ramen shop near Nishioji Station. The interior is simple and has a modern feel. I ordered the special chicken broth ramen. To cut to the chase, it was very delicious. Firstly, the chicken broth was rich and very tasty. It paired well with the noodles. The ingredients were special, with not only the chashu shown in the picture but also two more chashu slices inside the noodles. There was also chicken chashu and bamboo shoots. The chicken chashu was tender and delicious. However, there was too much green onion. Despite the delicious soup and ingredients, all I could taste was the green onion. I like green onion, but this felt like too much. If they could make the special with less green onion, that would be the best solution.

Today, I had lunch at Menya Isora near Kyoto Nishioji Station for work! There were 2 people ahead of me, and 3 people were waiting inside the restaurant. I quickly registered on LINE for a mini ramen service. I ordered the Chicken Paitan Ramen, which had a delicious soup with no unpleasant smell and a thick texture. The noodles were similar to those at Menya Teigaku and had a texture that I liked. The chashu was a mix of pork and chicken, and it seems like more and more restaurants are offering this type of Chicken Paitan Ramen lately. Itadakimasu!

I went to have lunch at "Menya Ikku" by getting off at Nishioji Station on my way to work in the Kyoto area. The restaurant is located in front of the station. There is a ticket machine outside the entrance. Thinking that the top left item was recommended, I purchased a ticket for the "<Special> Chicken White Broth" ramen. The restaurant only has counter seats. I handed over the ticket. After waiting for about 8 minutes, the bowl arrived! The pork loin chashu is overflowing (*^◯^*) First, I took a sip of the soup. It is a thick white broth soup. Rich and incredibly delicious (o^o^o) Next, I slurped the noodles. The noodles are made with whole grain flour noodles from "Menya Teioku." They are slightly flat, medium-thick straight noodles with a smooth texture. The toppings include pork loin chashu, chicken breast chashu, bamboo shoots, two types of green onions, 3 seaweed sheets, and a seasoned egg, making it luxurious (^o^ゞ The pork loin chashu has a good thickness and satisfying chewiness (^○^) The seasoned egg is perfectly cooked with a runny yolk, which I love \(^^)/ Adding black pepper midway tightens up the soup! The noodles and soup are delicious, but I am very satisfied with the richness of the toppings since I chose the special chicken white broth ramen (/^^)/ I finished eating and drinking everything (^-^)v Thank you for the meal (^人^) I entered the restaurant a little after 11 a.m., and more and more customers kept coming in afterwards! Truly a very popular restaurant, isn't it? (#^.^#)

【Chicken White Broth Ramen 900 yen】High-quality chashu that has been cooked at a low temperature, seasoned egg, menma, and chicken white broth soup. I was able to taste a ramen that embodies the original flavor and essence of chicken white broth. The gentle soup paired excellently with the pepper used in the chicken chashu. I was satisfied with the carefully crafted dish. "Have you ever had truly delicious chicken white broth ramen?" Ikku-san raised the bar for himself. His dedication to chicken white broth is evident as expectations rose upon entering the restaurant. Honestly, Karied-san is quite strict when it comes to chicken white broth! While waiting, I added the restaurant on LINE to get a seasoned egg! They explained the LINE coupons in detail and their service was very likable. I took a bite of the soup after it was served. Wow! Delicious!! The savory flavor of the chicken spread throughout my mouth. The soup even had a hint of sweetness. Ah, so tasty! The noodles were thick, wavy, and had a satisfying chewiness. Smooth texture and a good mouthfeel! The menma was also delicious, using the top part of the bamboo shoots. The chicken chashu was tender from low-temperature cooking, and the flavor of pepper was also good. It had a gentle taste for chicken white broth, but the strong pepper in the chicken chashu added the perfect balance. It had been a while since I had chicken white broth, and I devoured it quickly. The chashu, whether pork or chicken, was of high quality. The seasoned egg was flavorful and had a good texture! The myth of Karied, the god of delicious seasoned eggs, remains unbroken. The attention to detail, including the seasoned egg, is proof of their dedication. Sometimes there are places where only the seasoned egg is exceptionally delicious, but that's part of the charm. The interior was arranged with more space between seats than usual, creating a clean and pleasant environment to enjoy the delicious chicken white broth ramen. In the past, a chicken white broth ramen of this quality would undoubtedly have been a go-to place, but nowadays, there are many delicious and unique chicken white broth ramen shops emerging. In that sense, I hope they continue to innovate and evolve their other menu items as well. Karied-san's strict evaluation of chicken white broth ramen also passes. Ikku-san, thank you for the delicious chicken white broth ramen. Grazie!!

"Chicken White Broth" 900 yen 2022.8 Today was a noodle adventure in Kyoto. A friend of an otaku recommended it, so I visited aiming for white broth. I parked at a nearby coin parking lot and arrived just after 12 o'clock. There were vacant seats inside the restaurant, so I purchased a meal ticket and immediately sat down. It's a branch of Fukakusa Seimen Shokudo. So, the white broth should be good. The bowl arrived shortly. It had two thick slices of chashu, bamboo shoots, and green onions. A sprinkle of shichimi on top of the green onions. The soup looked creamy and rich in white broth. It seemed to have a moderate amount of oil. Let's dig in! First, the soup... As expected, it was rich. Creamy with plenty of chicken flavor. It was clean without any off-flavors, leaving a good aftertaste, rich but not heavy. The characteristic sweetness of white broth was just right. The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles. They had a good texture and paired well with the soup. The chashu was rare, with a sweet and tender fat, delicious. In the second half, I added black pepper to the soup. This is the way to enjoy chicken white broth. The flavor of the soup tightened, enhancing the deliciousness. Thank you for the meal~(^^)

Tonight's dinner is my second visit to "Menya Ikku" in front of JR Nishiōji Station. Last time I had their summer limited edition, but today I think I'll try the warm shoyu ramen. I'll purchase the "Chicken Shoyu" and "Extra Noodles" from the ticket machine. The bowl has arrived. First, the soup. It's a chicken broth in soy sauce. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. Toppings include chashu, menma, chopped green onions, white onions, and ichimi togarashi. There are two types of chashu, pork, and chicken, and the menma is the pointed type. Thank you for the meal.

For dinner today, I visited "Menya Ikku" located in front of Nishioji Station. This is the second branch of "Fukakusa Seimen Shokudo," and I couldn't help but make a joke about how the name doesn't really match. There is a ticket machine in front of the shop, and they have cold ramen available. Although I was excited to try the default option, my stomach was a bit tired from the last day of the three-day weekend, so I purchased the "Refreshing broth, cool salt lemon soba with rice set" from the ticket machine and entered the shop. They offer a topping service if you register as a LINE friend. If personal information is valuable, I'll gladly provide it. Any recommendations? The chashu only has chicken, so how about adding pork chashu? I agree with that suggestion. Before I knew it, the ramen was served. I tasted the soup first. The lemon flavor hits you right away, followed by the aroma of seafood and the saltiness. The noodles are smooth and slightly flat straight noodles. The toppings include lemon slices, chashu, menma, and onions. The chicken chashu is moist and quite thick. The pork chashu is delicious too. The menma is the long, pointed type. And the rice at the end is tasty! (I forgot to take a photo.) The refreshing lemon with tea-infused rice goes really well together. I'd like to come back to try the default option next time. Thank you for the meal.

Menya Ikku is conveniently located near Nishioji Station in Kyoto. I ordered the popular chicken white broth ramen. The soup had a strong and creamy flavor with a moderate saltiness that paired well with the firm and chewy medium-thick noodles. The two types of chashu, chicken, and pork, had a subtle flavor that didn't overpower the rich soup, allowing you to enjoy the difference in textures. Thank you for the meal.【Store Information】Menya Ikku, 17-1 Karahashi Nishihiragaki-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto City⏰Weekdays 11:00-14:30, 18:00-21:30, Saturdays 11:00-14:30Closed on Sundays, open for lunch only on Saturdays【Hashtags】#fyp #ramen #delicious #noodles #foodporn #noodlegram #rameninstagram #ramenlover #noodlegram #noodleinstagram #foodie #foodporn #KyotoGourmet #connectwithramenlovers #ramen #ramenvideocreator #ramenlover #ramennoodles #KyotoRamen #KyotoRamenTour #ramendiet #ramenpatrol #KyotoCity #TojiTemple #KyotoGram #MenyaIkku #KyotoLunch #ramenvideo
