Daikon radish, myoga, green onion, onion, fried garlic, and plenty of condiments with a refreshing ponzu sauce with just the right amount of sweetness. The seared bonito, completely free of any fishy taste, is perfectly coated with these condiments. When you take a bite, it's a winner! If you ever have the chance, definitely try the bonito tataki. The skin is crispy, the flesh is tender and juicy with a nice layer of fat. When eaten simply with salt and wasabi, the sweetness really spreads in your mouth. The grilled eel is also a must-try. Sushi with any high-quality toppings is only 300 yen per plate. Satisfied and grateful, thank you for the feast.

I went late at night so I couldn't eat much, but I had sashimi and grilled dishes as snacks with alcohol. It was very delicious, but when I put a tear roll in my mouth, I suddenly sobered up and couldn't stop crying. The taste was good though.

I visited this restaurant alone to finish off my day. The place was bustling with families, couples, and groups of two on dates. I ordered a mix of rolls and nigiri and waited for a few minutes. I was pleasantly surprised and completely satisfied with the authentic sushi that was served. It's a reminder not to judge a restaurant by its name. The cost performance is also excellent.

Today, I challenged myself with raw octopus tempura. It was completely different from the affordable octopus at izakaya restaurants! The tempura was indeed tempura, but it was juicy and tender. It had a good chewy texture too! It was delicious with salt, but also tasty with the plum paste that came with it! As for the sushi, I had fatty tuna, salmon, and seared sardine. The seared sardine was seasoned with ponzu sauce, but when I added a little salt from the octopus, the flavors came together and it tasted even better!

It's great that you can have sushi even after work at around 10pm. I got so full that I could only eat Toro Taku, but it was delicious. - Cod marinated in sweet miso sauce for 990 yen. The fat is slightly sweet and delicious. It makes you want rice even though it goes well with alcohol. - Deep-fried conger eel and bamboo shoots in a thick starchy sauce for 880 yen. Crispy and tender with a thick sauce. The conger eel and bamboo shoots taste delicious with the broth. The conger eel pieces are large, probably because it's from Densuke. - Firefly squid marinated in vinegar for 600 yen. It takes a while for the dishes to come out, so it was recommended to us. The firefly squids are big! There were about 5-6 of them, which filled me up. That's why I couldn't eat sushi. Two would have been enough, haha. - Toro Taku for 300 yen. Consistently great value for sushi. Maybe the last time had more fat. Still, I was really satisfied!

On my way back from Kitashinchi, I stopped by a sushi restaurant that is open until 4 in the morning. They offer 2 pieces for 300 yen, but you can also order just 1 piece. The sushi was delicious, so I ended up eating quite a bit even though it was late at night. I figured it was better than eating ramen. They had a variety of options like fresh mackerel, golden eye snapper, scallops, boiled shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, salmon roe, eel, green onion, squid, and fatty tuna.

I had been here a few times and often rely on their takeout, but today is my first post. Sushi is priced at 300 yen for 2 pieces on one plate. They are small in size, but perfect for enjoying with alcohol. And don't underestimate them just because they are 300 yen. They are delicious. The sushi is just right for me, as I don't like large rice portions that fill my mouth. The skilled chef carefully prepares them. - Thinly sliced Kawahagi (Thread-sail filefish) for 1,600 yen. It comes with plenty of liver. Dip it in ponzu sauce mixed with liver, grated daikon radish, and chopped green onions. The taste of Kawahagi is truly blissful. - Bamboo shoot tempura for 880 yen. At first glance, it may look a bit soggy, but no need to worry. It is crispy and retains the sweetness and aroma of the bamboo shoot. The tip is sweet, and the base provides a nice crunch. Enjoy it simply with salt and savor the taste of spring. - Sushi: Medium fatty tuna, sardine, and fatty tuna tartare. Look at the pink color of the fatty tuna tartare. It is perfectly fatty and melts in your mouth. When you put it in your mouth, the rice gently falls apart, creating a heavenly sensation. The sardine is also delicious without any fishy taste, and even though it is small, it melts in your mouth. Enjoy it with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce for a refreshing taste. The fatty tuna tartare... is it really only 300 yen? This phrase sums it up. The seaweed has a nice aroma, and the pickled radish blends perfectly with the fatty tuna. This one is a must-order! I had two beers and a couple of drinks. It was a truly enjoyable time with a pleasant buzz. Even though I was alone, I will definitely visit again as a solo diner! The service could be improved a bit, maybe by the young part-time staff being a bit more attentive and considerate, the satisfaction level would increase. When sitting at the counter, I could hear their conversations clearly. It's not a big deal, but that's the only downside.

Nosuke Corporation, which operates "Sushi no Kaze" in Nakazaki Nishi and "Sushi Subaru" in Higobashi, is the owner of "Sushi no Suke." Currently, "Sushi no Suke" has five locations in Higobashi, Kitahama, Nakatsu, Nishinakajima, and Esaka. One of the main features is that they are open until dawn. I visited the Nakatsu location with two drinking buddies after making a reservation in advance. Location: Located a little north of Nakatsu Station on the Midosuji Line. It is on the third floor of a building along Jonan Park Street. The small sign on the building along Jonan Park Street may make it difficult for first-time visitors to find the place casually. Interior: The layout includes a counter, several table seats, and a convenient layout. The bright and casual atmosphere with a touch of class creates a perfect ambiance. There were about four staff members, including those behind the counter and in the hall. I visited on a Sunday at 6 pm, and the place was full within an hour. Menu: They offer a wide variety of a la carte dishes, but the nigiri sushi is priced uniformly at 300 yen for two pieces. The nigiri sushi is surprisingly cost-effective! On this day, three of us (one man and two women) had a moderate amount of food and drinks, and the bill came to around 16,000 yen. The tempura, which is hot and has a perfect sweetness, is highly recommended. The assorted tempura, octopus tempura, and lotus root and mentaiko sandwich tempura were all delicious. The sake had a delightful taste and went well with the meal. Nigiri Sushi: As mentioned earlier, all nigiri sushi is priced at 300 yen for two pieces, which is incredibly impressive! The squid, horse mackerel, and squid legs we had on this day were all excellent for the price. The vinegared rice is very well-balanced and the texture is carefully considered. They do not apply nikiri soy sauce, allowing customers to add soy sauce according to their preference. They also offer a wide variety of rolled sushi, similar to what you can find at "Sushi no Kaze." Overall, I had a great time at "Sushi no Suke," following the experiences at "Sushi no Kaze" in Nakazaki Nishi, "Sushi Subaru" in Higobashi, and "Tempura Komugi" nearby. This is my first visit. The restaurant is located in a building just a short walk from Nakatsu Station on the Midosuji Subway Line. I ordered a sashimi platter, sashimi of shrimp, scallop and tempura (forgot what it was), red clam and green onion sushi, and ordered oyster ponzu! Everything was delicious! The sushi rice was small in size, which was perfect for someone like me who enjoys drinking sake. The fish was fresh and tasty. The sushi plates were all 2 pieces for 300 yen, making it a very cost-effective restaurant! They also have a variety of sake options, so if you are heading to Umeda or Nakatsu area, be sure to stop by this restaurant. It seems they also have locations in Esaka, Kitahama, and Nishinakajima-Minamigata.

Today I went to Sushi no Suke, which offers great value for money. I was very hungry, so I ended up ordering a large amount of food. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly. A restaurant located on the 3rd floor of a tenant building about a 5-minute walk from Midosuji Nakatsu Station on the Osaka Metro, recommended by a staff member from another shop at a later time. The clientele is on the younger side. The sushi is prepared by a mature gentleman. The photo shows a 10-piece assortment. The price for the assortment was not listed, but it is around 2000 yen. The sushi rice is small, and they do not use red vinegar. It's a good size for a second or third round of drinks. The sushi was delicious, and they have four types of sake available. The place was packed the whole time, and it took quite a while for the sushi to arrive. It might be a bit tiring to wait, but it's a good place for a casual meal and conversation. This is a sushi restaurant with locations all over Osaka, including Esaka, Kitahama, and Higobashi, known for its high-quality sushi at a great price. Each plate is only 300 yen, making it super cost-effective. On this day, I ended up choosing a lot of dishes that go well with alcohol, but if you want to enjoy sushi, this place is a great choice. I ordered a sashimi platter with 6 different types for 1400 yen, nodoguro sashimi for 1500 yen, Toyama Bay live firefly squid sashimi for 900 yen, wagyu beef tataki for 1650 yen, salmon collar salt-grilled for 770 yen, crab miso salad for 1100 yen, tempura assortment for 1300 yen, seafood tempura for 1300 yen, assorted nigiri sushi, toro rolled sushi for 660 yen, and cucumber rolled sushi for 300 yen. I love seafood, so I enjoyed the sashimi platter, especially the nodoguro. The seasonal menu item, live firefly squid, is one of my favorites. The tempura assortment and seafood tempura were also delicious. I also decided to try the wagyu beef tataki to mix things up. Overall, the sushi was good quality and reasonably priced. They also offer a variety of sake and wine, making it a great place to enjoy a drink. If I have the chance, I would like to visit their locations in Higobashi or Kitahama for a casual drink. The sushi pieces are small and easy to eat. I ended up ordering various types such as Thai, horse mackerel, salmon, striped jack, ark shell, eel, and meat sushi. There are many other menu items besides sushi, like tempura, which were all delicious! The chawanmushi on a cold day was excellent.

A sushi restaurant near Nakatsu Station. The interior is not luxurious, but it is clean. The menu is like a sushi izakaya, but the atmosphere is different. Sushi is 250 yen for 2 pieces, and there are many other side dishes. The quality may not be as high as expensive sushi, but for this price, it's great. It's much better than the conveyor belt sushi around here. And the fact that they are open until morning is also appreciated. Definitely becoming a regular customer!

I always go to this restaurant with my acquaintance chef and their affiliated shops, but this time, since my accommodation was nearby, I visited the Nakanoshima branch for the first time. The cost performance was great as always! Delicious and inexpensive! Plus, all sushi items are priced the same. Whether you order fatty tuna or mackerel, they are the same price, so I tend to order fatty tuna haha. The staff are friendly, kind, and easy to talk to. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we couldn't chat much (^_^;) I would like to visit again when I come to Osaka next time. Thank you for your continued support!
