I tried Satonoshi Shabu Shabu for the first time. I ordered the premium course with beef and pork. The side menu alone seems to be filling. The main meat is a bit dry, but it's not too bad. The sushi is also quite delicious. It's a shame that there are few dessert options. Before the restaurant got crowded, the dishes arrived quickly after ordering, but it took quite a while once it got busy.

There are quite a few family restaurants that are not found in Hokkaido, and one of them is Wasabisato. I was impressed to find it in Osaka! I arrived around 1 pm and it was super crowded (sweat). I waited for about 20 minutes. The Nagomi bento with 5 pieces of sushi was only 988 yen including tax, so cheap! The tempura, chawanmushi, and udon were all delicious and satisfying. The sushi was okay, but it's a family restaurant after all. Overall, I was very satisfied. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy Japanese food for under 1000 yen!

Today, I chose the option of a set meal where I could choose fried oysters as the main dish, with a choice of soba or udon noodles, chawanmushi, tempura, and a side dish. I chose fried oysters, and all of this cost just under 900 yen. It's a great deal! I also got a drink bar included, which even had alcoholic drinks. They take proper measures for COVID-19 prevention, and the restroom was clean. This is important! I mentioned it's a family restaurant for adults, but they also have plenty of menu options that are easy for families with children to use.

The tempura bowl has freshly fried tempura with a sweet sauce, but the slightly hard rice is disappointing. However, considering the price, it's satisfying as it fills you up. We visited Sato in Suita Kisabe for the first time because it was late for lunch and not crowded, making it easy for families with children to enter. The restaurant has private rooms, which was convenient. The taste was typical of a family restaurant for adults, but the children's menu was extensive and reasonably priced, making it a good choice for families with kids. The children finished their meals and because we had a private room, we were able to eat calmly.

Opposite the famous bakery Le Sucré Coeur in Osaka. I went to buy bread from Sucré, and it was around 11:30 when I bought the bread. It was just the time when my child was starting to get hungry, so we decided to eat at Sato, right in front of us. The first floor is a parking lot and the restaurant is on the second floor. Unfortunately, the tatami seating was fully booked, so we sat at a sofa table. My order was the miso cutlet set meal (\950) with a cold udon instead of red miso soup (+\100). My wife and child had the Nagomi set meal (\840) with a child-sized chawanmushi (\100). When we come to Sato, we always crave shabu-shabu, but we had to give it a pass this time because our child might reach for it. For some reason, we ended up choosing the miso cutlet. Being from Aichi, we tend to enjoy our cutlets with hatcho miso. It was surprisingly delicious for a cutlet you would have at a family restaurant. Next time we come to Sucré, we plan to have lunch here. That way, we can confidently park at Sato, buy bread, and then have lunch. Parking on the street in front of Sucré looks unsightly.

I visited the restaurant during lunchtime. I ordered a set for women which included soba (or udon), mini tempura bowl, chawanmushi, and pickles. My husband ordered a seafood bowl set with udon (or soba) and pickles. The tableware looked a bit worn out, especially the tray which had scratches and gave off a lonely feeling. The soba noodles were thin and had a subtle yuzu peel flavor which I liked. The tempura bowl had shrimp, fish, and okra, and tasted delicious. The restaurant is divided into smoking and non-smoking sections, although the air purifier wasn't working. We sat near the smoking area and turned it on ourselves. While we ordered regular sets, it seems that the restaurant also offers all-you-can-eat options, including not only shabu-shabu but also a versatile à la carte menu like karaage (fried chicken). It's a great deal. The restaurant has a tatami seating area which seems perfect for year-end parties with friends or family.
