As soon as you enter the entrance of Lalaport Fukuoka GUNDAM, you'll see a market on the left where there is always a line at the register. They sell fresh and cheap vegetables, fruits, salad bowls, side dishes, bento boxes, cut fruits, fruit sweets, and more. Everything looks so tempting that you can't help but buy something. I also joined the line and bought some sweets from the showcase at a separate counter from the vegetables. You can purchase these sweets without waiting in the main line. They offer seasonal tarts, crepes, jellies, etc., all made with fresh fruits. Each item was around ¥400, and I bought two shine muscat tarts and one peach tart for ¥1000. They were delicious with a good balance of sweetness and cream. I usually love the fruit tarts from Sun fruits in Saga, but these tarts are also great. I will definitely come back here again.

The onigiri looked delicious so I decided to get a takeout. They had several options, and I chose the eel and egg one. It was a large size, so it might be enough for a small eater. Even though I have a big appetite, at 380 yen each, I hesitated to buy too many. The rice had mixed grains in it, which seemed good for health. I warmed it up to body temperature and ate it. The rice was a bit firm, but the eel was soft and easy to eat. However, I felt like the sauce was lacking something. I went on a weekday morning and the line at the register was about 10 people deep because they only had 1 or 2 registers open and the service was slow. When I went on a Sunday at noon, there was a huge line of about 100 people, so I gave up.

You can choose your own meat to grill at this yakiniku place, and they also have salads. It's located at the former market site, with an eat-in space at the back. Today, I only had potatoes and beer, but it's usually not too busy. I think it's a pretty nice space!

A shop located right inside the plaza where the Gundam is at the Lala Port Fukuoka. It's like a market space selling fresh fish, meat, vegetables, and more. Towards the back, it's like a cafe. They offer a salad where you can choose your own toppings and a set where you can choose from about 10 types of deli.

It was a great deal! Enoki and shimeji mushrooms were 15 yen each, 5 for 50 yen! I bought a lot and shared with everyone. They were piled up in mountains!

The salted mackerel bento is full of volume and the saltiness is just right, making it delicious! The vegetables are fresh and when it's cheap, I'll buy it even if it's heavy to take home. The fruits are sweet and delicious.
