I visited this bar for the first time, which my partner sometimes goes to. It had a typical atmosphere of a bar in Kita-Shinchi. I don't remember much about the drinks because I was already drunk. However, there were tequila bottles lined up on the counter, and I imagine that the friendly tequila gentlemen come alive at night for an after-hours party. It seemed like a risky place with a dangerous vibe.

Visited on Saturday around 10 PM without a reservation with a group of 5 people. We were seated at a 6-person table in the back and played cards that they lent us. We got a little too loud (lol).

I visited a place called Kotora, where you can enjoy dishes from the restaurant downstairs at the counter. The atmosphere is moody with jazz music playing, and the sofa seats at the counter are quite cozy. I started with a beer and was surprised by the unique glass it was served in. The menu has a good variety of dishes, but they are a bit pricey and the portions are not very big. I tried the carpaccio, spicy grilled chicken, and creamy sea urchin pasta, which were all decent. The potato dish, topped with cheese and baked, was a standout for me. It was deliciously soft and creamy. I paired my meal with a glass of bubbly and red wine, both of which were tasty. However, the bill was a bit of a shock. Just be careful not to sober up when you see the total amount! (laughs)

The dining bar at this place is great because they stay open late, the service staff is excellent, and you can basically eat the same food as at the main restaurant (with a time limit). It's perfect for casual gatherings with friends, located near Shinchi's entrance and a cigarette vending machine, making it convenient for moving on to more drinks. I recommend it, but it's not really suitable for children. During a recent visit with a friend, we ordered a famous dish from the downstairs restaurant for delivery when we got a bit hungry. The wine and food are delicious, and you can have a quiet conversation, making it a satisfying experience. On another visit in March 2012, we had the famous potato dish from the downstairs restaurant delivered here. It's a great option to have this kind of variety. This place is far better than the typical Italian-style dining bars around, offering a fantastic, delicious, and cool dining experience.

The bar exudes the owner's sense of style and is perfect for adults. The dimly lit interior with the main focus on the counter is very calming. I usually go to the bar alone for some private time. I enjoy chatting with the bartender about drinks. Sometimes, the owner also visits after the restaurant closes, sparking lively conversations that make me stay longer. They pay great attention to each dish, so if you want to lose track of time, you should definitely give it a try!

The atmosphere is popular with groups of companions, and the friendly, well-built male staff strike the perfect balance in their customer service. The female staff members are also engaging in conversation, and it seems like they have been carefully selected for their natural charm. It's convenient that you can also grab a meal from the Italian restaurant downstairs, which is under the same management. I once met the elegant and sophisticated owner, who was a perfect fit for the classy ambiance of the restaurant.
