New Japanese sake bar "TOKKURI" in Kawabata, in front of Okuhata-san's shop. It seems like it opened during the midst of the Corona situation. The entrance is narrow, but it extends deep inside with even a 2nd floor. The beautiful white wooden counter is a highlight of the place. They offer a tasting set for 1200 yen + tax. I asked for something spicy, and they recommended "Yukinobijin," which is a refreshing sake perfect for early summer. "Izumo Fuji" is also crisp with a nice aroma. "Mita" is a mountain-style sake with a bit of a unique taste, perfect for sake enthusiasts. They serve nuts as a snack. I wanted one more drink, so I tried the recommended "Matsumoto" for 820 yen + tax, which is slightly carbonated and perfect for early summer. It was delicious! I only planned for a quick drink before heading home, but I might come back even after drinking. The bill includes a charge of 330 yen and a seating fee of 550 yen, which adds up, but considering the quality in the Nakasu area, it's understandable.店InformationJapanese Sake Bar TOKKURI050-5456-84604-202 Kamikawabata, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka

I happened to come across this Japanese sake bar during my trip and decided to stop by. The selection of sake was excellent, with a variety of rare options available. I ended up staying longer than planned because of the great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and I had a pleasant conversation with other customers as well. I would definitely like to visit this place again.

I enjoyed some very stylish Japanese sake at a chic bar near the entrance of Nakasu Kawabata Shopping Street. The staff explained the sake to me in a friendly manner, allowing me to taste a variety of different types. The staff were very personable, and I ended up staying longer than planned. I think the rating could be even higher. There were many tourists, including foreigners, at the time, and despite meeting for the first time, we had a fun time drinking together.

I ended up being drawn into a Japanese sake bar with a great selection of sake when deciding on a second place to drink within the Mountain's group. There were three women who love Japanese sake and we enjoyed two drinks each. The bar also had a variety of craft gins, including non-alcoholic options. It's nice to see more places adopting the "you don't have to drink alcohol if you don't want to" approach. Before we knew it, it was closing time and the bill was already paid by a customer who had left earlier. What an interesting experience in the Nakasu area. It's good to know about such places to avoid wasting time at a second location. Thank you for the meal!

It's a beautiful restaurant run by female staff. I enjoyed some delicious dishes that go well with sake. Thank you for the meal! :)
