I felt a bit awkward at first because there were many regular customers at the shop, but the head chef was friendly which was nice. Of course, the sushi was delicious. I didn't take many photos at all.

Just a short walk from Nishi-Nagahori Station, this recently renovated sushi restaurant has a clean and upscale appearance both inside and out. The display case showcases a variety of fresh seafood, including a deliciously fatty tuna belly. The sashimi was well-prepared and satisfying. However, once it came to the nigiri, my expectations were let down in various ways. The red vinegar rice used for the sushi lacked any distinctiveness and was a bit too soft, far from the ideal firmness and sweetness achieved without sugar in traditional Edo-style sushi. The flounder and mackerel were both marinated too heavily, resulting in tough textures that masked the natural flavors of the fish. The scallop was overly rich, and the conger eel was mediocre. The ark shell lacked flavor and aroma despite its appearance. The raw baby scallop sushi had a pleasant taste of spring, while the seared and fatty tuna sushi were quite delicious. Overall, there were questionable choices in the selection of ingredients, and the cost performance was not particularly high.

Around 11 o'clock at night, I casually walked into the restaurant alone. Inside, there was a counter and a tatami room in the back, with only the head chef present. I started with a shochu highball and grilled conger eel. While waiting, I observed the cleanliness of the sushi case, which was well-maintained. The head chef was quick and agile in his movements, and the dishes came out promptly. Impressed by his skills, I silently acknowledged his expertise. Next, I ordered some nigiri sushi, starting with eel and sea bream. To my surprise, they were vinegared rice, probably seasoned with akazu vinegar. It reminded me of the traditional Edo-style sushi I had in Tokyo long ago, and I couldn't help but order a chef's selection of 10 pieces. The quality was satisfactory, with some pieces made from natural ingredients and even using local eggs. I bought a sushi roll to take home and the bill came to 10,000 yen. The restaurant has been in business for 10 years, yet it remains remarkably clean and well-maintained, not due to fancy decor but diligent cleaning. Despite the stern appearance, the head chef is friendly and his kindness shines through when he speaks. While there are plenty of high-quality options in areas like Shinjuku, they often come with a hefty price tag due to high rent. Considering this, the restaurant offers good value for its price. I left feeling satisfied and will definitely return in the future.

The sushi rice, colored with a unique vinegar, may make you think it's brown rice at first. Each sushi is delicately formed with a fluffy texture that doesn't fall apart. They all melt in your mouth with a light and delicious flavor. The omakase sushi is carefully prepared with an extra touch. Starting with a mineral-rich salt to eat with the white fish sushi, the salt has a light brown color and a rich umami flavor. Then, you'll enjoy the marinated red fish sushi, and even some unique options like "fresh baby sardines," which are surprisingly fatty. After shrimp and egg sushi, you'll have eel, shellfish, and abalone with a sweet marinade and a tender texture. The "Asakichi roll" bought as a souvenir is a thick roll with eel, shrimp, and egg wrapped in the unique sushi rice. It's a perfect gift, but be prepared to be teased at home for enjoying such delicious sushi.

I often passed by this place and was curious, so I went with a colleague. We had beer, a little sashimi, and then sushi. However, the taste was very average. The sushi rice seemed to be made with red vinegar as it was slightly dark, but overall it was just ordinary. This place does not deserve the star rating it has. The blonde chef's customer service was really questionable. When we couldn't eat something in the omakase sushi, he gave us a strange look and then started chatting with what seemed to be regular customers. The counter where we sat had a clear view of the messy kitchen, which wasn't very appealing. Also, when we visited in the summer, the air conditioning was on and blowing directly onto the chef's hair, which made us worry about hair getting into our sushi. Despite all this, we ended up paying a decent amount for our meal. The noble words written on the paper hanging on the wall in our seating area should be taken as a lesson by the staff.

I visited this sushi restaurant thanks to the president of a client company treating me. I knew of the restaurant's existence but was unsure if it was expensive or cheap, so I hesitated to enter at first glance. However, I was impressed by the restaurant and felt it was a good decision to enter. I discovered that there is sushi where the rice is not white, and it was delicious. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I enjoyed every piece of sushi I ordered omakase. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was nice, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I personally would like to visit again. It's a bit far from the city center, so driving there means not being able to drink alcohol, which is a downside. I visited with three others, all of whom were regular customers, so they had a good rapport with the chef. The sushi assortment I received as a souvenir on my way out was also delicious, making it a satisfying experience. Since I didn't pay this time, I would like to come back and evaluate the taste and value for money by paying for myself next time.

In the area around Tachiuri-bori, there are many companies related to the steel industry, but there is a sushi restaurant operating there. Today, I was guided by a customer and had lunch there. The B lunch set that other customers were eating seemed satisfying with about 8 pieces of sushi + rolls for around 1,000 yen. The set I had was chosen by the customer, so I'm not sure, but it included high-quality ingredients like squid, fatty tuna, yellowtail, simmered conger eel, sea urchin, and about 8 other pieces. The cuts were thick and satisfying. The rice was seasoned with red vinegar, giving it a reddish color. It was lightly packed, easily falling apart in the mouth, with a good balance between the rice and the toppings, and it was quite delicious. The miso soup had a red broth and included seasonal vegetables, giving it a slightly upscale feel. I'm not sure about the price, so I can't comment on the cost performance, but it was a satisfying lunch.

I had been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally got the chance to. The interior was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice. The taste was decent as well. You can enjoy sushi in Shinmachi that is similar to the more expensive ones you find in Minami. The red vinegar rice, which I had heard about, was quite good. I sat at the counter and ate facing the chef, who was the first blond chef I had seen at a sushi restaurant. I don't have any particular issue with blond hair, it's a personal choice, but it did make me feel a bit uncomfortable... It would have been better if he wore a hat or something... That was the only disappointing part.

I couldn't do housework due to construction at home, so I decided to eat lunch outside and found a delicious sushi restaurant, so I went there☆ I called ahead to ask if it was okay to bring my child, and they said it was fine, so I went there with peace of mind◎ We arrived at 11:30 am, right after the restaurant opened. We were the only customers, and my daughter wanted to sit at the counter, but there were also tatami seating available. The interior had a nice woody smell, and at first glance, it seemed a bit upscale. However, they provided my daughter with cold tea in a kids' cup and even removed wasabi for her (*^^)v My mother ordered the C set (8 pieces of nigiri sushi with red miso soup for 2000 yen), I ordered the B set (8 pieces of nigiri sushi, 2 pieces of rolled sushi, and red miso soup for 1000 yen), and my daughter had the A set (6 pieces of nigiri sushi, 3 pieces of rolled sushi, and red miso soup for 800 yen). My mother's set included luxurious toppings like snow crab, sea urchin, eel, fatty tuna belly, and herring roe, while mine had egg, sea bream, scallop, eel, amberjack, salmon, tuna, raw whitebait, and a thick rolled sushi with egg, conger eel, cucumber, etc. All this for 1000 yen is cheap!! My daughter's set had a rolled sushi with dried gourd instead of salmon and eel. Everything was really delicious (*^_^*) I used to eat raw whitebait often at home, but it was my first time trying it in Osaka☆ I felt so happy to be able to eat it for lunch! The eel was plump and meaty, and it was as delicious as any eel specialty restaurant! I usually don't like tuna, but this tuna was delicious! (゜o゜)! The egg was not too sweet, closer to a dashimaki-style, and it was my favorite kind of egg, perfect♪♪ The sushi rice was fluffy and soft, with a generous amount, not too sweet from sugar, slightly sweet without being sour or salty, so delicious that you could eat it without soy sauce. It was the first time I didn't feel thirsty after eating sushi (*^_^*) The red miso soup had my favorite shredded radish and was delicious (^O^)! I was already full, and even my daughter's A set was satisfying. After 12 pm, the restaurant quickly filled up, and everyone except us was male, all ordering the B set. In terms of quantity, the B set had the most. For quality over quantity, I recommend the C set. Scary thing is, my daughter finished the A set (*_*; I know she loves sushi, but she's going to gain weight~(ToT)/~~~ However, since it's close to home, I want to bring my husband next time(^O^)

I went to "Sushi Asakichi". It's a small, modest sushi restaurant in a town, and the atmosphere feels more like an izakaya than a sushi restaurant. The notable thing is the low prices, which are comparable to a conveyor belt sushi place. And of course, it's much tastier than conveyor belt sushi. However, the sushi comes out too quickly. About 6 or 7 pieces of sushi came out on plates at the beginning, and even before finishing them, another 6 or 7 pieces came out. I felt like I had to eat quickly and leave. Well, since it's cheap, I can't complain too much, but I wish I could have eaten and drank more slowly.

It's in a slightly unusual location, isn't it? It was about 1500 yen by taxi from Namba, right? It seems there is a subway station nearby. The atmosphere inside was like a local sushi restaurant, but the food was delicious. I thought it would mainly be nigiri sushi, but there were many small dishes, like a sushi restaurant in Hokkaido. Both the nigiri and small dishes were delicious and satisfying. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and I felt like I could become a regular customer if it was closer. It would be good for those who enjoy drinking. There were quite a variety of toppings, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely visit again.

The clientele is clearly more interesting compared to other stores. Located in the outskirts of Nishi-ku, in a remote place, with prices that are not cheap at all, yet there are many young regular customers in their 20s and 30s. Every time I go, I find myself saying to the blond, K1 fighter-like chef, "If this place were in Shinchi, it would be even more popular." However, it has become an intimidating place for us regulars. The red vinegar used for the sushi rice, the wasabi, the quality of the ingredients, everything is top-notch. This is sushi that you would have to be prepared to spend at least 20,000 yen per person to taste in Tokyo. I'm glad to live in Osaka, where I can relax, surrounded by regulars, and enjoy authentic sushi that is praised.
