On the weekend, I went out for a meal after work in Umeda. The restaurant I visited that day was Mugen, located on the 5th floor of WATANABE.B.L.D.5, just a short walk from Hankyu Umeda Station. It's a place where you can enjoy yakitori-style grilled chicken on a hot lava plate at your table. After entering the restaurant, I was seated at a table and ordered a drink. Looking at the drink menu, I decided on a highball and a lemon sour. I raised a toast and started drinking. The appetizers served were grilled ginkgo nuts with salt and edamame, which made for a tasty snack. Moving on to the main dishes, the menu offered a variety of chicken dishes including lava-grilled chicken yakiniku. I decided to order individual dishes this time. I started with the Bang Bang Ji Salad, a spicy salad with plenty of chicken. It was delicious. Next, I tried the Chicken Breast Yukke, which was served with egg yolk and yukke sauce. The combination was irresistible. As I enjoyed my salad and yukke, the hot lava plate for grilling chicken arrived. I ordered the Assorted Chicken Yakiniku with 7 different cuts of chicken. The meat was tender and juicy, and grilling it on the hot lava plate was a unique experience. I continued to enjoy my meal with a glass of wine and barley shochu on the rocks. The Hormone Spicy Hot was another highlight, with its spicy seasoning and juicy texture. I also tried the Chicken Miso Bibimbap, which was delicious when mixed together. By the end of the meal, I was satisfied and impressed with the delicious food, especially the grilled chicken that I could cook to my liking. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and provided great service, making my dining experience enjoyable. I would definitely visit this place again when dining in Umeda. Cheers!

The restaurant was conveniently located near Hankyu Umeda Station. Inside, it had a calm and traditional Japanese atmosphere. Since it had just opened, the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. The menu mainly consisted of Japanese dishes, but the most impressive item was the recommended lava grill. It was my first time seeing meat cooked on a hot lava stone, and it was quite special and delicious. It seemed like the restaurant had a focus on chicken, which added to the uniqueness of the experience. The grilled meat paired well with drinks, and we had a great time enjoying them. They also offered various courses, including all-you-can-drink options, which seemed like a good deal. If I have the chance to drink nearby again, I would definitely visit this restaurant. I stopped by after shopping in Umeda. The place I visited was MUGEN Umeda Hankyu, located near Chayamachi in the WATANABE Building 5F in Umeda. It's conveniently close to the station. The specialty here is the charcoal-grilled chicken using the brand "Fumoto Akadori," where you can choose the parts you want to order. The interior of the restaurant is very clean and there were congratulatory flowers near the register, which got me excited. I ordered various parts like heart, breast, thigh, gizzard, and tenderloin, each with its own tag, which was a thoughtful touch. The chicken is cooked on a lava stone instead of a grill, which was a new discovery for me. It doesn't produce much smoke, doesn't stick, and you don't need to change it out. The food presentation is also impressive, not just tasty but visually appealing. I had a satisfying meal and left feeling full and content.

One weekend, when I went to Umeda, I decided to stop by this restaurant. Last time I went, there was a long line, but this time, maybe due to the bad weather, there was no line and I was able to get in easily. I ordered a cassis orange drink and a variety of yakitori skewers. Then, I looked at the table menu and added some chicken nanban and chicken breast sashimi. While snacking on the appetizer, I waited for the yakitori to arrive. This place is known for grilling your own food using a stone grill in the middle of the table. It was nice to be able to grill and eat at my own pace. The main dish, the yakitori, was more on the healthy side than juicy. Each skewer was easy to eat, and I particularly enjoyed the texture of the gizzard. The thigh meat was juicy and satisfying to eat. The restaurant seemed newly opened and the staff, mostly young, were busy but attentive. It felt lively and welcoming, making the dining experience enjoyable. We were strolling around the area near Chayamachi with my relatives, and we started to feel hungry. My relatives wanted to eat yakitori, so we explored some restaurants and found one on the 5th floor of WATANABE Building. The interior was surprisingly spacious and clean. Since we didn't make a reservation, we decided to order a la carte. My relatives ordered chicken skewers such as thigh (99 yen - so cheap!), liver (99 yen), heart (149 yen), and wing tips (199 yen). We also had chicken motsu hot pot (799 yen) and Korean-style Chorogi salad (499 yen). The prices were really affordable, and the food was delicious! There were quite a variety of menu options, so this place is definitely a repeat-worthy restaurant. We were able to walk in without a reservation this time, but it seems like it could become a popular spot, so next time, it might be better to make a reservation (lol). I later found out that they also offer all-you-can-eat options at a cheap price, so I would like to try that next time. Thank you for the meal!
