This izakaya is located in a great spot at the corner of the arcade shopping street near Tenkacha Station East. We gathered here for a farewell party for my cousin, who is leaving Osaka to open a chiropractic clinic in Okinawa. There were 22 relatives in the second-floor tatami room. The sashimi boat for the course was impressive, and the shrimp shells were deep-fried, giving a satisfying crunch. The all-you-can-drink option for draft beer and sake for 3,500 yen is a great deal. The seasonal mackerel sushi was delicious with a nice vinegar kick. The soba noodles at the end were also tasty. The young female staff who served us were very charming. I would definitely consider revisiting this place.

Recently, I've become weak to alcohol and often end up drinking too much. The other day, I accidentally overshot my stop on the Sakaisuji Line and woke up at Tennoji, the end of the line. I thought, "Oh no, I messed up." But at that point, it was already too late. So, I decided to just go with it and have another drink before heading back! I wandered around the Tennoji station area and ended up at a place called "Harukoma." It's a typical izakaya with counter seats, suitable for solo drinkers as well. In my slightly tipsy state, I couldn't be bothered to look at the menu, so I ordered the recommended dish, medium fatty tuna. The taste was good, but the slices were a bit too thin for my liking. I prefer tuna to be cut a bit thicker. Nevertheless, I used this thinly sliced tuna as my snack, sipping on shochu, and then ordered grilled hormone as well. It had a chewy texture and rich flavor, making it a satisfying dish. Just be careful, as it can be tiring on your jaw if you eat too much. While munching on the grilled hormone, I enjoyed sipping on my shochu, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I only briefly visited, but I think this is a place that is easy to visit alone or with a group. If you have the chance, give it a try!

I entered a restaurant as part of the Ten-Bar participating stores. It was an izakaya located in a shopping street to the east of Tenkachaya Station. After receiving the standard food and drinks, I decided to stay a bit longer and ordered some sushi and more drinks. The atmosphere was busy due to the event, but there was a calm feeling in the air. I felt that the other dishes would also be delicious, but I have not visited on any other day. Next time, I would like to go and enjoy the food and drinks as usual.

I used to think that Harukoma-san was a sushi restaurant (sweat). Turns out it had nothing to do with it, right? (sweat) But the name Harukoma has become so well-known in Osaka, and the storefront looks like a sushi restaurant, so it's no wonder that customers mistakenly walk in! Are these old guys really the owners!? (self-destruct)
- Halibut sashimi: $4.80
- Pacific saury sashimi: $5.80
- Fish head soup: Price unknown
- Burdock tempura: $3.00
- Fish cake tempura: $3.00
The prices are quite reasonable. However, lately I've been going to some pretty good restaurants, so I might be getting a bit extravagant, or maybe I'm becoming a bit of a snob... (hey) My taste buds are getting more refined, or my nose is getting more discerning, or something like that. I start thinking, why can't they have a big plate of sashimi or something! (bitter smile) But I do recognize that they handle good quality items, so maybe it's unfair to expect more than that, right? (sweat)
On this day, there were two drunk old guys... They kept pouring me hot sake from a 2-go tokkuri, and I ended up forgetting how many bottles I drank in the end (bitter smile). They rambled on about their company's faults, venting their frustrations, as the night quietly passed by in Tenjacha-ya (distant look).

After the meeting, we had a discussion at an izakaya. We went to "Harukoma" izakaya with members who enjoy drinking communication. The place is located near Tennocha-ya station on the east side. The izakaya used to be old-fashioned, but now it has transformed into a neat and clean izakaya. The drinks are cheap and the appetizers are plentiful. It's a great place that never gets boring. We started with octopus eggs as a complimentary dish. It's amazing how a simple cut can make it unrecognizable. We also had simmered horse mackerel and vinegar-pickled smelt. Both are rich in calcium. Grilled shiitake mushrooms and garlic fried chicken were also on the menu. The smell of garlic was so tempting, but I had to resist because I would be unpopular at home. Since I started keeping track of my calories, I realized that the appetizers were all very healthy. As a result, I drank a lot of draft beer. I wonder how many glasses I had? (^_^;)

10th spot: We're now joined by the Meets editors, Youtchan, Matchan, and Yocchan, making for quite a large group. We headed to a big izakaya and enjoyed some hot sake. Cheers! Cheers! Cheers! We had some sashimi and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal! We have a not-so-helpful gourmet blog called "Kusa Kusa's Otaku Diary."
