I stopped by here while visiting Kyoto on the recommendation of a friend's friend. The owner apparently trained at the high-end restaurant Santalucia near Osaka's Tennoji Park. Santalucia used to be a famous restaurant that appeared on the TV show "Iron Chef" and beat the Iron Chef. I ordered their specialty, pizza, first. The Margherita was just as delicious as Santalucia's! Next, I tried the tripe pizza for the first time, and it was delicious. Then, I took a bit of a risk and ordered the cold carbonara! I thought it would be impossible for carbonara to be cold, but it was surprisingly good (laughs). Lastly, the pizza from the stone oven was delicious, so I ordered another Margherita (laughs). We ordered too much for two people, but it was a feast. If I have the chance to come to Kyoto again, I would like to visit this place.

My family of 6 used this restaurant for a holiday lunch. There are 4 parking spaces available. It's truly a popular place as customers were coming in non-stop from opening to closing, keeping the kitchen busy. However, the staff were attentive and we were served promptly without having to wait for our food, allowing us to have a very enjoyable time!

The pizza and pasta at this restaurant are delicious. The garlic and sun-dried tomato pasta was really tasty. The pasta was thick and satisfying to eat, and combined with the perfectly soft garlic slices and the richly flavored sun-dried tomatoes, it was amazing. The only downside was the dessert. The matcha tiramisu wasn't delicious. Maybe it was because of the sponge at the bottom... I felt a little disappointed even though the food was good. But I will go back again.

This time, we had dinner and tried Gorilla's Pizza, Sakura Shrimp Pasta, Beef Tagliata, and Porcini Mushroom and Beef Shank Risotto. They are always delicious, but the Sakura Shrimp Pasta we tried for the first time this time was outstandingly delicious.

It's a bit hard to find, but this restaurant is popular with lots of customers. I couldn't find the parking lot. This time, I had the Gorilla's Pizza, Adult Potato Fries, and Giant Corn. The Gorilla's Pizza looks great with a fluffy crust that tastes delicious - the acidity of the tomato sauce and the melty cheese are also tasty. Goes well with alcohol. The Adult Potato Fries have a rich flavor with a crispy texture - very tasty. The Giant Corn is just regular, but it's a nice snack to have.

I visited after a business trip and although it was mentioned that there was parking available, I had to call the restaurant for directions. The parking lot was located on the north side of Kosei Taxi, across Omiya Street from the restaurant. I wasn't sure about this. The highball and prosciutto highball were priced at 390 yen and the prosciutto at 500 yen, with generous portions and delicious taste. The recommended dish was the Carbonara with anchovies, which was average.

We used the dinner for two this time as well. The appetizer of shrimp and mushroom ajillo was new to me, and I thought the taste was good except for the lack of heat a little. We had Quattro Formaggi pizza, but I still think Gorilla's Pizza is more delicious.

After finishing work from early in the morning, my partner and I went to have lunch at Gorilla's Kitchen in Tojo, which was recommended by a colleague. There were already several people lining up before the opening, indicating that it's quite a popular place. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with a seating area in the back with sunken kotatsu tables. As soon as they opened, customers flooded in like a torrent. All the dishes were delicious! The pizza, in particular, had a chewy texture and was incredibly tasty. It was so good that we ordered another pizza lunch set. I went to Kyoto to eat super delicious pizza. A shop that appears a short walk from Kintetsu Jujo in Kyoto. When you enter, the pizza oven welcomes you. We tried various recommended items from the menu. ◉White fish carpaccio - Fresh and delicious. It's even better when combined with the tomato sauce provided. ◉Onion gratin - A gratin made with whole onions. The gratin, baked thoroughly in the oven, brings out the sweetness of the onions excellently. ◉Goriz pizza - The pizza we came for. Absolutely delicious from the first bite! It's a Margherita with unusual use of mozzarella, showing attention to detail. The dough is wonderfully chewy and delicious. I finished it in an instant. ◉Yuzu pepper pasta with Kishu duck and Kujo green onions - A dish where the umami of duck and the vegetables of Kujo green onions match perfectly. The sauce packed with umami and the pasta blend together beautifully. ◉Roast pork - This dish that came out after reaching the peak of satisfaction easily surpasses the high expectations. It locks in the umami of the pork without being too fatty, with just the right touch of rareness. ◉Half & half Bismarck and Bolognese - I wanted to eat the delicious pizza again, so I ordered it once more. This time, I had the rich egg-topped Bismarck and the flavorful Bolognese with eggplant and minced meat in a half & half. Needless to say, the taste is outstanding. It seems quite busy even for a weekday lunch, so I think reservations are essential. They have a wide variety of pizza options, but they only offer two choices for lunch. It's a great place to go for drinks in the evening. It might be a good idea to order a variety of dishes and share them with a large group. Although it's not right by the station, it's within walking distance, so you probably won't need a taxi.

We had 4 pizzas, pasta, tagliata, and risotto with 2 children and 3 adults, and the amount was enormous, but everything was delicious, and the children seemed very satisfied. The pizzas at this restaurant are truly authentic and impeccable, but the Gorilla Pizza is the best.

Second visit! I remembered that the pizza was more delicious than the pasta during my first visit, so I ordered two pizzas for lunch. There were two options for the pizza lunch, Margherita and Bismarck, and I chose those today! It was around 12:10, so it was uncertain if we could get a table, but while we were looking for parking, we called and made a reservation, so we were able to enter the restaurant! After that, around 12:30, more customers started to arrive, and there were also people waiting!

It's a bit of a walk from Jujo Station, but it's great to find a restaurant like this in a residential area. I'm happy that even with a small group, you can order half and half pizzas. You can see them being baked in the oven. If they have the oil sardine and onion gratin (no picture), I always order it. Sometimes they don't have it.
